Holy roller coaster of emotion!

Starting this book, I had no idea what to expect. All I knew is that I loved Eva and Naz in Dangerous Beauty and wanted more of them.
This book made me go through so many emotions; from anger to frustration to elation to exasperation to happiness and then finally to absolute worry and fear with its cliffhanger.

I want at first to say that this book did not disappoint. Eva and Naz’s love and willingness to do everything to protect the other at the risk of their own lives was so heartwarming and made me root for them even more. I LOVE THEM.
Eva is one of the strongest characters I’ve read about. She has had a shit life, but at no point does she give up, but on the contrary, fights tooth and nail, putting her love for Naz and his safety at the forefront of her reason why she needs to fight. She is the embodiment of the “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. Another thing I loved about her is the fact that after all the shit she gets put through, she never loses her sass or her sense of humor, the latter of which shows up the most when with Naz. The latter, on a not-so-different note is functioning on the sheer need and want to find Eva and keep her safe, which not an easy feat when Eva is doing everything she can NOT to be found in order to keep him safe. We’re dealing with two stubborn people who want to be together fighting tooth and nail to keep each other safe and the result is AMAZING and keeps you at the edge of your seat. And their love is absolutely unbreakable and totally worth it.

I also very much loved Tabby just as much as I did in the first installment if not more. I loved her sass, her don’t-mess-with-me-I’m-smarter-than-you attitude, and I so want to read hers and Connor’s book, which I’m totally adding to my tbr asap.

Now, for the thing that made my emotions boil and then simmer just to boil again. In this sequel, we get introduced to a new character : Killian.
The first time we see Killian, it is an instant hate. But the more we get to know him, the more we see how layered he is. This character is so grey I don’t think it is possible to see characters. He’s also very irritating, but against all hope, makes you intrigued, which I HATED, because I didn’t want to be intrigued. I just wanted to hate him in peace.
There’s also a little bit of a love triangle, which is a trope I absolutely abhor, but though I still mind it a bit when it’s one sided from the third party, which was the case here, it’s not as much as I do when it’s reciprocated in some way.

All in all, even though I knew I would like this book what with my attachment to the characters, it was absolutely not what I expected, in the best way. Any book that can make you feel all the things is a book that’s worth it in my opinion, and Beautiful Desires is totally worth it.

I just can’t wait to read the last installment and the conclusion of Naz and Eva’s story. I can hardly sit straight with anticipation.

The action and suspense continues, introducing new players, but without the big finale. The author is building and building, keeping us on the edge of our seats, anticipating with positive hopes and negative fears. Yeah, the titles make sense, 'dangerous' is an understatement.

One thing that is very clear is that Naz and Eva are deeply in love. Unfortunately, that doesn't solve all the world's problems as advertised. Trouble is chasing them and it's not looking good. "There's only so much pain a heart can take before it breaks for good."

Hopefully, the stars will align and there will be enough love to numb the pain and the memories of the past...and present. Fingers crossed. 🤞 We won't find out until Dangerous Games... or later.

Dangerous Desires is the second in a three part story and therefore ends in a big cliffhanger. So if you're not a fan of those I'd recommend hanging on until November and the release of Dangerous Games before starting this book.

As Dangerous Desires picks up where book one left off. With Eva choosing to return to Dimitri in order to save Naz's life. Whilst Naz is stuck in a hospital bed, recovering from an earlier explosion and blissfully unaware of the sacrifice Eva has made.

And what unfolds is not only entertaining, sexy, intriguing and suspenseful. But full of twists, turns and surprises. And includes the introduction of a new character Killian. Whose not only dangerous and mysterious, but clearly has an agenda all of his own. And I have to say the confrontation between him and Naz was well worth the wait!!!

And I'm really looking forward to the conclusion of this story and the inevitable face-off between Naz and Dimitri.

Would definitely recommend

I have to say book two is more action packed and exciting than the first. It continues on from the cliffy of book one after the bomb and plans to go back to her old captor to save Naz's life. I don't know if her plan was noble or a bit naive and half assed. Well she's brave and had her own plan but it's all waylaid and she's in trouble. Naz is frantic in searching for her and Tabby is a master at her skills getting it done.

I felt bad for Eva even if she set out of her own to do this. She endured a lot for a mistaken identity. Naz is such a sweetheart even if he has old fashioned ideals to take care and protect Eva. He cares deeply for her and makes her know it. They have to be a team to succeed in taking down the enemy. I enjoyed their down time banter and playfulness.

So as the action ramps up the steamy does too. As everything seems quite are more settled of course that's when it blows up they didn't expect. I had a feeling it would be a another cliffy for third book. But darn it's a good one. I need to see what happens now.

I am a huge fan of this author, but this book failed to keep my attention. Mainly because I am not into the mobster theme in romance.

Naz and Eva’s story continues with the second book of the series. Eva has been kidnapped. It’s up to Conner and Naz to rescue her. A new player has entered the game. Can Naz and Eva resume where they left off? Whose this new player in the game? Is he a good guy or bad guy? These are all questions to be answered by reading the book!

Just as engaging as book one, such a fast read for me and it is a real nail biter at the beginning.

Argh, silent scream we have yet another cliffhanger!!!
That's the bad thing about being the middle book of a trilogy, you are starting off mid-story and finishing without a satisfying ending either.
I really need that next book NOW!!!!

Also........little tidbit.......
there is a really interesting love triangle development that starts here in book 2.

It comes with some scorching hot scenes and plenty of action and adventure.

J.T. Geissinger is essentially one of my favorite authors, her book "Midnight Valentine" is one of my all time favorite reads.

You will need to read the first book before reading this, or you will be lost. As Naz is coming to after surgery; Eva is kidnapped by Killian. Naz and Connor are now on the hunt to save Eva before she is returned to Dimitri. But not all is as it appears. Eva gets sick and Naz is able to save her. But the hunt has just begun, as new allies come together to fight and destroy Dimitri. This book does end in a cliffhanger, be prepared.

This is the second book in J.T. Geissinger's series Dangerous Beauty, so beware, there is a cliffhanger. If you haven't read book 1, you should, but she provides enough of a backdrop that you can quickly figure out the backstory. I don't typically like books written in parts, but Geissinger spins a wonderful tale in Dangerous Desires. There is witty back-and-forth dialogue that just makes you grin and occasionally laugh out loud. There are darker, more sinister moments as well that make you grip your kindle just a little tighter. Overall a great read, and I can't wait to read the next book as this one really ends on a nail-biting cliffhanger!

Dangerous Desires is the second book in JT Geissinger's Dangerous Beauty series. We all met Naz (or Barney as we first knew him) in the Bad Habit series. He was a mystery, but in Dangerous Beauty, we came to know and love, his goodness. And his love of cult-favorite movies and his ability to quote the BEST quotes. Then we met Eva and honestly, she's tragic, but beautiful and likable and deserves a happy ending with Naz. However, there's the evil Demetri, at the end of Dangerous Beauty we're hanging on by a thread.
At the beginning of Dangerous Desires, we meet Killian. Hero? Villain? What the heck? Not only that he's a mountain of a man, got tattoos, a Scottish brogue, and speaks lovely words in Scots Gaelic (yeah I looked it up). It's easy to see the interest generated by Eva's dedication to the death to Naz. It also leads to Naz and Eva reuniting. OH, HAPPY DAY!
I'm not going to give a synopsis of the book. However, I am going to say I loved this. I love Naz, Killian, and Eva. They each have amazing stories and personalities. Naz has me repeatedly laughing throughout the book as he describes how he wants to kill people. Killian is heart-wrenching, JT we must have a worthy woman for him; it just cannot be Eva. And Eva, she's just so brave and devoted. Demetri is back and more evil than ever, and SOB I now have to wait until the third book comes out.
JT writes THE BEST characters that truly stay with me and make me want to go re-read her books again and again. These books are serialized and require reading sequentially to get the story entirely. READ THEM NOW!!

Argh, this series is going to kill me with these cliff hangers, I need the next book now!!! Honestly I’m loving the story but I will be glad when it’s completely released and I can read them all straight through. Another great read by this fabulous author. This series will leave you sitting at the edge of your seat. Danger, sex, intrigue .

Book 2 in a series. Read Book 1. This can be read alone but it would be like skimming the top, you will not have the full depth of Eva, Nasir and Dimitri. Dimitri is discussed in this book, as opposed to seen, but to know the true evil, the depravity of what Eva is going back to you need book 1. Too know the background of Nasir, to understand the true depth of Nasir and Eva, read book 1. Otherwise I am afraid people will miss out on this truly hair raising book 2, from violence , to love, to despair. Suspense is woven through the whole tale. We meet a new villain, or is he ? (Killian) I cannot say I am as understanding as Eva or Nasir about that situation. Read the book. The ending - pissed me off. It was an OMG moment and you are left. Left hanging. I read all of JT Geissinger but if I could have I would have crawled through her writing portal and shook her tablet, table, muse whatever and screamed WHY!!!! Book3 is needed, needed NOW. My July started out slow, but it's just getting better and better!

I have literally been waiting for MONTHS for the end of Eva and Naz's story and I finally got to read it! I did NOT get the ending I anticipated!

I have such a love hate relationship with books that end with a cliffhanger! And Dangerous Beauty left off with the mother of all cliffhangers!!! I went through withdrawal symptoms not being able to know WHAT HAPPENED NEXT!!!

Now I know!!!

So much flipping happened!

Action, suspense, life and death situations on the high seas (and on land). A scarily compelling, maybe not so bad, bad guy and a truly evil bad guy. Oh! I can't forget true love!

Dangerous Desires is definitely the whole package! You should pick up a copy of Dangerous Beauty today (if you aren't already waiting with bated breath) so you won't have to wait for the rest of the story...

First of all, <b>you know how much I love J.T Geissinger, right?</b> You know how excited I got when I was granted this arc too, right? Well, then maybe you could explain to me why I couldn’t get invested in the story and why it took me 4 days to read a book I was supposed to devour in a couple of hours. 🤔

As always, I sneaked a peek at the last chapter and found out this too ends in a horrible cliffhanger. I got pretty mad at that, since I hate waiting for the next installment. I get disconnected from the story, forget important facts and so on. 😔 <u>If I had known, I would have waited for all three books in the series to be published.</u>

I don’t think I can give you too many details about it, except for that fact that Eva gets kidnapped by <i>Killian </i>, this beautiful bastard, whom you can’t help falling for. He’s cruel, mysterious, ruthless, caring if he wants too, calculated, a mercenary. He has, however, committed a huge crime and it might be difficult to forgive him for it, but he’ll also make you swoon and giggle a little, so...

The whole book is basically a suspenseful chase, thrilling, heart-stopping, but once Naz gets to meet the infamous Killian, you’ll definitely laugh at their pissing contest, a testosterone battle full of creative threats. What else could you expect from two alphas infatuated with the same <i>bhrèagha</i> woman?

So, if you happen to have missed <a href="https://mypinkfairytales.com/dangerous-beauty-by-j-t-geissinger"/>book 1</a>, I would highly recommend you to wait until November and read the whole series then. Trust me, it’s worth the wait.

Wow. Just wow! You know when you find a new author that you really like, and then you realize they have several other books that look awesome and it’s like Christmas? That’s this author for me!

I received an ARC of this book, not realizing that it was the second book in the series, but decided to read the first book anyways. And I’m glad I did! I’m a huge fan of the romantic suspense genre and this series has definitely delivered so far. And I have to say, I can usually predict what’s going to happen in the story...but this book had many twists I didn’t see coming.

I love Naz and Eva and I enjoyed reading their story continue in this book. I liked Eva in the first book, but it was great to see her grow and stand on her own feet more in this book.

I honestly wouldn’t read any spoilers (or even the description of the book) before diving in. But if you loved the first book, I think you’ll definitely love this book. And I’m definitely excited to now dive into the author’s other books while I wait for the final book in the trilogy that’s coming in November!

I got very lucky and just finished the first book when the second one popped up on netgalley.
This is not a standalone book.

This is the continued story of Eva and Naz this starts up right after she leaves the hospital naz is in to trade herself to Dimitri for a promise to leave Naz safe. She got on that boat and what a turn of events. Someone has stepped in and kidknapped her for leverage over Dimitri. This book did not disappoint! This is jammed packed with action, sexy alphas!!!, love and emotions.
It ends on a cliffhanger just like the first one and has me over here chewing my nails wondering when I will get to read the next one!
