I received a complimentary copy of this book from Hallmark Publishing via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This was a wonderful Christmas romance. In true Hallmark fashion, this book was enchanting. I could see this as a movie in my mind. The characters were wonderful and the plot was one that kept me turning the pages. I was a little sad to see it end. It was done so nicely that I wanted it to go on.

Sam falls and hits his head. Upon waking up in the hospital, he discovers he has amnesia. The doctors don't want him to go home alone so Angie, his accountant at his jewelry store takes him home with her and her family. The family consists of her son, mother and grandmother. They welcome him into their lives. As Sam struggles with trying to fill in the 26 year gap in his memory, he becomes entranced with Angie's family. He is given a second chance to discover how important family and friends really are. He had been such a workaholic that his personal life suffered.

I adored the dual POV format here. Both Angie and Sam were the perfect foil for each other. The rest of Angie's family were wonderful as well along with his Dad, David.

If you love Christmas romance that is also sweet and clean, then you will want to definitely read this one. It is a great way to spend a few hours. I highly recommend this book to anyone.

This is a wonderful sweet Christmas romance between Angie, a young widow with a small son and her boss Sam who owns a local jewelry store. Sam falls on the ice and has a concussion that causes memory loss. With no one to take care of him, Angie takes him home to her apartment filled with her grandmother, mother and son. Very predictable but a lovely story that can be enjoyed by teens and grandmothers. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

If you’re looking for a squeaky clean story, that’s packed with Hallmark charm and holiday feels, but still relatively believable, this is your stop!

Sam Singleton (hint, hint) owns a jewelry store that he pushes to make more profitable. Sam is building a life of luxuries, but neglecting his heart. Enter co-lead Angie, a young widow and single mom who lost her husband and father tragically. She lives in a multi-generational home and carries a huge burden of responsibility. Her pride and joy his her young son Pepe. Angie works for Sam as an accountant.

After a tragic accident leaves Sam with amnesia, Angie offers him a place to stay while heals and a chance to experience a life unlike the materialist one he has built for himself.

Such a sweet, if slightly predictable holiday story. Ginny Baird delights and brings the all the feels. The Arroz Con Pollo recipe sounds delish!

Great holiday story. After a bump on his head causes temporary amnesia, Sam recuperates at the home of a co-worker. He seems to rediscover himself, and in doing so re-established a relationship with his dad and falls in love. An uplifting and fun holiday story.

I received a free ARC eBook from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.

An unforgettable Christmas was the perfect title for an unforgettable Christmas story set in Hopedale, Virginia. The story was full of hope, kindness, and love as Sam Singleton recovers from an accident during the holiday season.

The characters were unforgettable too. I liked Angie Lopez, a strong, remarkable woman who lost her husband many years ago. She is so focused on her family and her job at Singleton's Jewelry store. I enjoyed that her mom and grandmother lived with her and her son, Pepe who is in first grade. This family was very special in their love for each other.

Sam Singleton is Angie's boss at the Singleton Jewelry store. He is basically married to his job and is very strict with his expectations of those working for him. It was interesting to see him change, following an accident on ice that caused him to have amnesia. It was also interesting to see how he had no close friends that could take care of him and his father was too old to help so Angie had to take him in.

It was fun to watch Sam transform into a more friendly, outgoing man and to see him come to terms with his past and the future that he wanted. I know I will not forget this touching story. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

I love a great Hallmark Christmas movie like anybody else, but this was a disappointment for me. I couldn't wait for it to be over. Three stars is a generous rating for my enjoyment of the book, but the story is solid. It was just bland and predictable. I didn't feel any spark between the two main characters or in the overall story. Frankly, I was more interested in the relationship that started for the main character's mother than I was in the central relationship for this book. This was just not a good fit for me.

Another Hallmark homerun!

If you love a cozy romance, snuggling up with a blanket and some hot chocolate, and the festive Winter holiday this book is for you!

Single Mom Angie has worked for Sam Singleton for years. After a tragic accident results in his loss of memory, Angie decides to help Sam regain some of his memories. However, what they did not anticipate was the new memories that they would create also.

This is a sweet and sometimes poignant Christmas tale that feels in parts like a spin on both A Christmas Carol and It's a Wonderful Life. The hero, Sam, is a near Scrooge-like businessman who demands as much from his employees as he does from himself, not taking into account that they have lives and families outside of work. A freak accident where he hits his head hard on icy ground gives him retrograde amnesia; at first, he can only remember fragments of his childhood. Angie, the heroine, is surprised at the new way her boss is acting. She had always suspected that somewhere buried deep inside was a decent, caring man; the accident rendered him more compassionate, kind, and even funny at times. Because Sam is estranged from his only living relative, Angie agrees to let him live in her home while he recovers and hopefully gets his memory back. Sam finds Angie's home, which holds four generations of her Cuban and Puerto Rican family, to be a haven of belonging as he recuperates.

I absolutely adored all the characters in this story, especially Angie's son and grandmother. I loved the sense of family provided by the interactions between the four generations; I do enjoy romances where a strong family element is a part of the story, and in this book, this is incorporated on several levels. All the characters were very well written. Sam definitely grapples with his memories and his sense of self as he recovers. That's where the twist on It's a Wonderful Life comes in. As Sam's life is slowly revealed to him, unlike George Bailey, he doesn't like the man he gradually learns about. Which Sam will he end up being if he recovers from the amnesia: the new Sam, the old Sam, or perhaps a blend of the two? And we can't forget the romance, of course. The new Sam seems to fall for Angie pretty quickly; maybe old Sam had a crush he hadn't acknowledged. Aside from this rather quick attraction, the rest of the romance is a slow build as the other elements of the story interweave and sometimes take precedence. All in all, I thought this was a charming, heartfelt Christmas romance.

This is a very sweet Christmas romance that tells the story of widowed Angie and her son, along with her employer Sam. Sam suffers from amnesia due to an accident and Angie and her mother and grandmother end up caring for Sam as he recovers. Very sweet romance with a great mix of family and friends thrown into the story. A bit unrealistic but not "cheesy" but it is a Hallmark Christmas story and very sweet! Good read!

A charming look at the important things in life with an emphasis on family and relationships. The Christmas cheer will warm your heart and the humour will make you smile. Another excellent seasonal read that will leave you feeling good through the very last page! My favourite characters were not even the romantic leads, but the son and grandmother. They just absolutely made the tale.

“An Unforgettable Christmas” is a Hallmark novel, loosely based on “A Christmas Carol” by Dickens. The main character is a Scrooge like person, very business-like, who cut himself off from his past. After suffering a concussion caused by a fall on the ice, he loses some of his memory, but reconnects with his past, his dad, and his friends, and falls in love. He almost loses all he has gained once his memory returns, but saves the situation in the "Nick of time" (pun intended). Although there is an epilogue, it wraps things up nicely and seems realistic.

I really liked the inclusion of a warm family setting in which the characters are of Puerto Rican and Cuban origin. The little boy is absolutely delightful, as is the grandmother. The characters in this novel are very likeable, and the plot moves along quickly to keep the reader engaged. Readers should certainly find some good holiday vibes in this clean, family oriented novel.

I received this book from the publisher and from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

Fun Hallmark style romance. What happens when you forget who you are.? Do you like who you were? Can you make the change permanent? I really enjoyed this book and hope to see it as a movie this Christmas.

First of all, this is so heartwarming, packed with lovable characters, Christmas traditions, and an unforgettable lesson to the reader. Yes, the title is very fitting. Though I must admit, the best charm of this novel is not because of the main characters alone but everyone in it.

The characters were given such realistic qualities. There is no doubt that the author had succeeded in letting those qualities shown on the pages. Like with Angie who is too focused on her work for her family, especially to her son, Pepe, that she doesn’t even consider to be romantically involved. And Sam who is also hardworking but only to succeed more. He really works hard that he expects his employees to do the same. He thinks himself as fair and reasonable and it really showed in the story. I can say the same with the side characters. It’s like the author has given equal spotlights to all the characters and I like that. The dynamics of the characters were so good. I especially love Angie’s relationship with her family. I won’t tell you much about this because it’s better you discover it yourself.

The whole set-up of this novel is also to be commended. I just love the mood or atmosphere of the story. It’s too Christmas-y but still realistic. It’s set in a town where you can always bump at someone you know, or that the business establishments are owned by people who have known each other for a long time. This definitely helped Sam as he tries to remember his forgotten memories. Christmas spirit is too obvious but the author didn’t forget to show the concerns that the characters face in their normal days, making this story realistic. Also, it’s a great idea to set an MC with amnesia in a Christmas season, because Christmas is such a heartwarming holiday and well, that makes the process of remembering so much better and more meaningful.

My only issue is that every time, a character’s name is mentioned, whether a new character or just one recurring in a new scene, the physical description follows. It’s just a couple to three sentences but still. Also, I noticed that the voice of the characters is almost similar. Not their qualities, just their voice. It’s like only one person is talking. For example, Sam and Angie despite being both hardworking, they still have different qualities — the former can be prickly and the latter is nice — but Alas! they both use the term, gosh whenever possible. And worse, all characters use the word, gosh, when they’re a bit surprised. They’d say ‘Oh gosh’ or ‘Oh my Gosh’, or just simply ‘gosh.’ But I read an ARC so maybe it was changed.

But overall, I highly recommend this book. You might wanna read this if you want to feel the spirit of Christmas early and if you miss your family.

The story of Sam Singleton, a jewelry store owner who is a workaholic and bordering on Scrooge. He doesn’t even recognize how amazing his accountant Angie is until he falls and hits his head and suffers from amnesia. This was a very sweet, romantic story that surprised me. I wasn’t expecting Sam to become such a different person during his convalescence. It was a neat take on a classic Christmas story.
I greatly enjoyed the story and thanks to Ginny Baird, Hallmark and NetGalley for the free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Ginny Baird’s An Unforgettable Christmas is a sweet, put you in the mood for the holidays to hurry up and arrive book. Which is saying this is a Christmas story but you can enjoy it anytime of the year. Angie, a single mom works for Sam, a successful jewelry shop owner. While Sam is basically a good person he has a workaholic attitude that he pushes on his employees. From the beginning there is an air of mystery concerning Sam’s childhood and relationship with his father. It is such a contrast to the warm close knit family of Angie with her young son, mother and grandmother who all live together.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call Sam a Scrooge but I did think the knock on the head might be just what he needed. His experiences at Angie’s house recovering are as life changing as the accident. It is great when the characters have growth. There is, of course, romance, this is a Hallmark book after all but the relationships between family and friends are just as developed and important in the story. An Unforgettable Christmas is a heartwarming, lovely story from beginning to end. It is excellently written, even better than the many Christmas movies on the channel.

An Unforgettable Christmas is a sweet, well written Christmas romance. I really liked it and would recommend it to almost anyone. It's clean so it is appropriate for anyone from your little old granny to a young adult/teenager. It's pretty straight forward. There's no bad guy....it's like those lovely Hallmark Channel Christmas movies that I wait all year to watch :)
The characters are fully developed and the story has a great flow. It's got everything that makes a successful Christmas romance, a hunky hero with amnesia, a smart heroine that helps the hero reconnect with his friends and family, a cute little boy and so much more. It's a story I know I'll be pulling out every Christmas to reread because it's such a feel good type of story.
