My love for author Noelle Adams grows more and more with every book. She sucks me in until I need to seriously come up for air. Carpool was definitely another great one from her. Marcus Green had me from the get go and let me just tell you I officially have an obsession with his cute little smirk.

Sweet book of past impressions and new people. This book takes old neighbors and turns them into new lovers. Jennifer and Marcus has the perfect balance of wit, fun banter, and sexy suggestions. Their history in the small town made it that much better. I loved how it wasn’t all about sex- they shared feelings and deeper emotions with each other. I know this is called. Novella and for me this was the perfect length for this type of story. Plenty of background and buildup without extra drama or fluff to build up page count. Good job Ms. Adams!

This was a good time. Our main character has to bring her car in for repairs, and she is told that it will take a number of weeks to be completed. This leaves her with no way to get to her job- 45 minutes away. She has one option. Enter Marcus. He's a bad boy with a heart of gold, and I fell for him. You probably will too.

This is a short little novella, but Noelle Adams gets just the right mix of character depth, story, and steamy romance. It's hard to get it right in a book this short, but she really did it! I loved it!!

The only complaint I have is when we were just getting started, before the character development happened, it was a lot of "We drove to work. We drove home from work." But get past that, and you're in for a good time!

Small town romance town bad boy turned good adult helping family members old neighbors and a romance sign me up and where can I find me a Marcus totally enjoyed this one!

Book Review- Car Pool by Noelle Adams

The first in the Milford College Series involves Jennifer who works in the financial aid department. She lives in Sterling where she lived with her grandmother. She is an ordinary girl with an ordinary job she likes. Unfortunately, she cares for her grandmother and pays the costs for her nursing home, which means no money for car repairs. She is forced to carpool with Marcus Greene. He was her neighbor growing up and the area bad boy. Nothing like having to ask your teenage crush for a ride to work. Jennifer doesn’t see herself as an interesting enough woman to attract Marcus’ attention. I love how the author basically forces them together in a car and they have to talk to each other. I love how Jennifer has to alter her opinion of Marcus. She is surprised at how he has changed and treat others. He is absolutely sigh-worthy.
Then they both start acting ridiculous. Their fears start interfering and they stop talking. It drove me crazy. I wanted to shake them both and the town’s people who have passed judgment that has yet to change even though he is older and wiser.
I like how Jennifer had her eyes opened to her life and her wants. He made her stop and think. It was a great read and I can’t wait for the next book. I give it a 4 out of 5.

Delightful obnoxious bad boy / good girl storyline - funny - sizzling chemistry - very easy to read & I did in one sitting.

Marcus & Jennifer have always been attracted to each other but never acted on it ....

A costly transmission repair has Jennifer seeking Marcus out to carpool to their jobs at Milford College.
A lot happens in that 45 min commute for them - getting to know each other - sharing their days - being there for advice - oh & they eventually decide to take a friends with benefits fling to see what is really going on with their mutual attraction.

What happens in a small town doesn’t always work well when gossip and opinions start impacting these two characters.

Such a great book with some strong advice that it is ok to live your life responsibly but not at the cost of true happiness.

Great Read & love this authors work !!!

cute story with a unique way of falling in love. Marcus used to be the town bad boy. Now he is a responsible adult with a good job who helps his older parents with their farm. The town and Jennifer don't seem to realize that he has changed. Jennifer is the dependable good girl. She is always been warned about Marcus. Now she needs a favor. She has to put her pride aside and play with the enemy. Her car broken and she needs a ride to work for the foreseeable future. They work at the same college and what could go wrong. Sweet story with loveable characters.

It takes place I a small town and Jennifer is the good girl and Marcus was always kind of known as the town bad boy. When things take a turn and they start carpooling together let's just say sparks fly. I high recommend this witty fun romance.

This book was unputdownable! There are so many funny comments in the midst of fast-paced action and steamy scenes that I had a hard time even doing anything but reading this book!! Just love this author and can’t wait to get my hands on more of her books. Happy reading!!

Carpool is a funny, sexy slow burn. Jennifer and Marcus have grown up in the same town but have learned to keep their distance. Marcus was known as a rebel badboy when he was a teen but sometimes you can't judge a book by it's cover. Marcus has so many layers and Jennifer is about to discover them.
Jennifer has always done the right thing and is the good girl but she has always been curious about the town badboy. When she needs to carpool and they are working in the same town things are about to get interesting. The more time they spend together the more they realize that they may have more in common than they once thought. A cute, sweet, sexy read !!

This is an entertaining little story with quirky characters. I like seeing Jennifer her opinion and perception of Marcus. I like seeing the slow burn in the friends department. I like seeing the slow burn between them as H&H. This moves easily, smoothly and logically. Enjoyable.

A sweet story of the bad guy/good girl type. I enjoyed the book even though there were times I wasn't overly fond of the heroine. A quick beach read which at this time of year works well!

They work in the next town 45 minutes away at the college and they literally have the same schedule and live next door. She swallows her pride and ask him if he would carpool with her for the next month. He agrees and that is where the story gets good.

They carpool every morning and evening, each day Marcus is asking her all sort of personal questions. Like are you dating anyone? Do you like the one you are seeing? Does he like you? What do you do to have fun? Do you ever do anything risky? Jennifer is starting to question if she is happy with the way her life is going. If taking a few risk will hurt her stablility. The gets closer over time, sharing more of their personal thoughts and beliefs.

Marcus kisses her and they decide to have a no-strings friends with benefits relationship. Can they really spend all this time together, share their bodies with each other and feel nothing.

I was pleasantly surprised with this read. A lot of the time, romance books can have ignorant and stupid characters that have no clue how to communicate but Carpool was a refreshing change. The characters were mature, considerate and actually thought things threw before jumping into anything.
I liked watching their relationship develop and that they grew to like each other emotionally before anything physical even started.
I loved the premise, the setting and even the side characters- so much, that I'd definitely be eager to continue with this series.

Carpool is the first novel in the Milford College series by Noelle Adams. The main characters are Jennifer whose name I keep forgetting and Marcus. She grew up been the good girl who was always warned about the bad boy aka Marcus. He changed over the years, but she doesn't know that. At least not in the beginning when she is forced to ask him if she can carpool since her own car needs to be fixed. The get to know each other and the rest is for you to find out.

I would have like a lengthier novel.I wanted to explore Marcu's character a little bit more and find out more about him. The entire story is been told from Jennifer's point of view and I am not a fan of that, because it's harder to understand the other character. He seemed like a man worthy of being call book boyfriend and that's enough for me. I understood that Jennifer made him feel like a fish out of the water because she is not the average female he is used to dealing with and that's why he sometimes didn't act so well. Jennifer is also feeling like that and that's why I wanted a bigger book. I wouldn't mind seeing more of them and getting to know them even better.

Another fun read by Noelle Adams. It was an entertaining read filled with romance, comedy and steamy scenes. Jennifer might not have the best impression of Marcus but once they start carpooling, she realizes there is more to Marcus then what meets the surface. As they spend more time together, feelings start to develop and soon they realize that they can’t live without each other. Carpool was a fun, addictive read. A must read!

What a sweet romance as Jennifer has crushed on Marcus for years but keeps scowling at him as she doesn't want to acknowledge her crush! Poor Marcus wants someone to "see" him for himself and yet keeps having brief flings which doesn't allow a woman to get to know him.

Throw in Jennifer needing a ride and she gives in and asks Marcus for a lift to work every day. During this time, they get to know each other. Unfortunately, the road to true love is never easy and they hit highs and lows as they keep trying to not admit that they want more than a fling.

It is kind of sad when Jennifer hopes that Marcus will do what he said a man should do - make the effort and show the woman that she is worth it and then doesn't do it. They finally gave their moment and get their HEA.

Some people say all you need is proximity and attraction. Carpooling proves it can happen. Two people who seemingly dislike each other in forced proximity learn to tolerate, like, and then enjoy each other.

Seems there might be something to that theory!

Fast paced romance, full of chemistry and humour. Adorable characters you root for , even includes an excerpt for the next in the series which sounds fab.
