Delightful holiday romance. The setting is inviting and the characters are very loveable. While the plot is somewhat predictable, as are most holiday romances, it in no way detracts from the enjoyment of the book. Debbie Macomber is a wonderful storyteller and this book is a delightful addition to her Mrs. Miracle series.

A Mrs Miracle Christmas is one of those holiday novels that are a "Must Read"!
Macomber does it again. This holiday novel begins with McCullough wishing she could receive some good news. Nothing seems to be going right for her and her husband Zach. Still no baby in the horizon and now they have moved in with her grandmother who needs help.
When of course who shows up but Mrs. Miracle. As Christmas nears, Mrs. Miracle does her magic.
This ARC was provided to me for free in exchange for my honest opinion. So, I must say if you love Hallmark movies, then this is one for the books and a must read any time of the year.

Debbie Macomber pens Christmas romances like no other!
A Mrs. Miracle Christmas story is a tender, sweet, sad, funny and delightful. The people, towns and places she creates in her stories are so realistic that when I get to the end I know I will miss them all and can’t wait to revisit them again and again!
If you love Christmas, romance and a great story then A Mrs. Miracle Christmas by Debbie Macomber is just perfect for you any time of the year!
I received this book for free. A favorable review was not required and all views expressed are my own. Thank you to Ballentine Books, Ms. Macomber and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Debbie Macomber's "A Mrs. Miracle Christmas" was a short, sweet novel that is sure to put readers in the Christmas spirit. It is more overtly Christian than most of the other Macomber books I've read to date, and given the nature of some of the story elements, readers must be willing to believe in both the power of prayer and the magic of Christmas. If it proves impossible to do that, readers may find this story difficult to enjoy.
The book focuses on married couple Laurel and Zach, who live with and care for Laurel's elderly grandmother, Helen. Laurel and Zach have struggled with infertility for several years, and after an adoption fell through at the last minute, Laurel has given up on ever having a baby of her own to raise. Zach, however, wants to believe that there is still hope for them to have a family and, without Laurel's knowledge, has renewed their application with the adoption agency. Thanks to the timely intervention of Mrs. Miracle, a (slightly mischievous) angel who comes into their lives disguised as Helen's senior-care aide, it seems that Zach and Laurel will finally get their wish, but there are a few bumps along the way.
Zach and Laurel were a lovely couple and it was easy to root for them to get their wish for a family, but I was somewhat disappointed by the fact that they were so focused on adopting an infant and never considered taking in an older child. They were already approved to be foster parents, and so many older children need good homes, which Laurel and Zach were able to provide. In addition, given Laurel's own experiences with losing her mother at such a young age and having to move in with her grandparents, it seems like she would be able to relate really well to an older child. I think Laurel would have been able to offer a lot of support and guidance on topics such as dealing with the loss of a parent and starting over at a new school, and it's a shame that she and Zach completely ignored that opportunity.
In spite of that disappointment, I couldn't help but like this book. It's not the type of story I would normally pick up, but it was totally appropriate reading for Christmastime, and I did find it to be rather uplifting.

What an emotional, religious Christmas miracle! It really made me stop and think of the things that people overlook and take for granted. I loved this story that was geared at returning us, or helping us to keep, our faith. Book provided by NetGalley.

Fantastic holiday read! In true Debbie Macomber fashion, this festive read is fun and heart warming. It wouldn't be Christmas without reading one of her stories! Super sweet and lovely. Highly recommended.

This is part of the Mrs. Miracle series but it can definitely be read as a stand-alone.
I absolutely love Debbie Macomber books. Her Mrs. Miracle series is one of my absolute favorites to read over the Christmas holiday. This new addition did not disappoint. It was everything that I had hoped for and more.
I loved the characters (Helen, Zach, and Laurel). They all won my heart and the addition of Mrs. Miracle truly creates a cozy and heartwarming Christmas novel.
If you love Christmas novels as much as I do, this is a must-read!

another wonderful read by Debbie Macomber. I just love all of her books, she is wonderful I have read all of her books and she never disappoints. cant wait for her next read.

Sweet and predictable, but just right if you like to get in the mood for the season with something sweet and sappy. A good Christmas story. Really puts you in mind of this holy season.

Debbie Macomber is one of the greatest storytellers when it comes to writing uplifting and heartwarming stories. This is a perfect book for the holiday season.

Easily read in one sitting, this is a joyous, heartwarming holiday story. Macomber brings back a favorite character, Mrs. Miracle, to return faith through the spirit of the holiday to Laurel, Zach and her grandmother Helen.

This book was absolutely excellent, and so well written. It filled me with joy, hope, love, and the belief in angels. It was an excellent Christmas story that the author made come alive. I read it quickly and did not want it to end. If you read only one Christmas book this season, I highly recommend this one! .

This is a "feel good" type Christmas book that just was not for me. I had issues with the overall "angel" Mrs. Miracle showing up.... Helen's dementia just magically disappears and isn't evident after Mrs. Miracle shows up. Laurel goes from being so angry at Zach and making him leave the house while tells him to leave her. But the next day after he shows up at the school play everything is right again? I've read other Debbie Macomber books, but this one just seemed over the top with the prayer/angel/heaven themes that (for me) was a little over the top and excessive at times. But I'm sure other people would love that aspect of it. I feel like this should be one of those super sappy Hallmark Christmas movies.

It's not Christmas without Mrs Miracle, at least for me, so this was one of the very first books I picked up for the season. So so so loved it. I love me a good romance, but I also enjoy seeing established couples work through challenges and come out stronger, and this one really rang those bells for me. Loved it!

This is the third Mrs. Miracle Christmas story and it's another great Christmas read! I also like that Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy (Christmas angels) also make an appearance and cause a little mischief.
Mrs. Miracle arrives to help out with a family's needs near Christmas time. Helen is elderly and has problems with mobility and memory, but she shows much progress after spending a short time with Mrs. Miracle. Her granddaughter, Laurel, and husband, Jack, live with her and have lost any hope of adopting a baby. This is a season of miracles and hope for the family.
Thanks to the publisher and to NetGalley for an ARC; all opinions are my own.

I have so enjoyed the Mrs. Miracle stories by this author. This one I struggled to finish as it was too predictable and I thought the character of Laurel was too self-centered.

BOOK REVIEW⠀
BOOK: A Mrs Miracle Christmas
AUTHOR: Debbie Macomber
@debbiemacomber
Debbie Macomber always delivers with stories about things that happen through faith or fate or magic. Whatever you want to call it, this story is exactly that. Do holiday wishes come true? Is it possible to have peace and joy? This book makes you believe it’s possible. The read is calm, the characters heart tugging, and the story reminds you of a time where anything is possible. I pray it is.
Short Synopsis (from Goodreads):
As the holiday season begins, Laurel McCullough could use some good news. She and her husband, Zach, have been praying for a baby that seems more and more like an impossible dream, and they've had to move in with her beloved grandmother, Helen, who's having trouble taking care of herself. But when Laurel contacts a local home-care organization for help, there are no caregivers available.

What a wonderful and heart warming read! As usual, Debbie Macomber has written a delightful story about family and love and Christmas. Ms. Macomber's books are ALWAYS an experience in peace and comfort, all while being well written and relatively realistic. I loved this book, as I have every other book I've read by Ms. Macomber, and very strongly recommend this and any of her other books.
Thank you to Netgalley, the wonderfully talented author Debbie Macomber, and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for my free ARC of this inspiring and truly lovely book. This is my completely honest opinion.

I’m always open to a sweet holiday book. This one was a bit more faith based than I expected and I’ve read others in this series. I liked the background of a couple struggling with fertility and adoption and an aging grandparent. I believe these to be relatable and timely topics. Lauren and Zack were likable and yet struggling to communicate well. Helen was a beautiful spirit and finding a caregiver to be with her when Lauren and Zack worked was a good intro for Mrs. Miracle.
As I said the story is sweet, and has clear religious messages. Looking for a light holiday read, this one fits the bill, predictable, yes, but still entertaining.

Debbie Macomber never fails to disappoint with her books and her Christmas novels are an extra special treat! Macomber's latest, A Mrs. Miracle Christmas is a sweet story of love, family, faith. and the beautiful gift of adoption. This one is just in time for the holiday season!
