I received an Advanced Reader Copy from Ballantine Books and NetGalley for my unbiased opinion of the book. This book centers around one of our favorite angels that Debbie Macomber has created. Mrs. Miracle arrives in the nick of time to help Laurel McCullough, her husband Zach and grandmother Helen. Lauren and Zach are unable to have children and been unsuccessful trying to adopt a child. Meanwhile, Helen is having memory issues and can't be left alone anymore. Since the holidays are fast approaching, ignoring problems of the past are no longer possible. Mrs. Miracle arrives and immediately takes over the household watching Helen and working on everyone's faith which is lacking and hope for a newborn to adopt. What would Christmas season be without our angels around us. Thank you, Debbie, for writing another fabulous novel!

The beloved Mrs. Miracle is back for another wonderful Christmas story. I always look forward to Debbie Macomber’s Christmas books. A Mrs. Miracle Christmas did not disappoint.

Once again Mrs. Miracle arrives just when she is needed to help a family through a difficult time. Laurel McCullough is a first grade teacher. She loves her students, but longs for a child of her own. Laurel and Zach have been dealt one disappointment after another. It begins to look like they will never be blessed with a baby.

When Laurel’s beloved Nana begins to have memory problems and difficulties living alone, they move into her home to help her. After Nana becomes lost in her own neighborhood, Laurel realizes that they can’t do it alone. Laurel contacts Caring Angels, a home care agency, for help. They have no available caregivers.

Laurel does not know what to do. She can’t take time away from her students. If she can just make it until the Christmas vacation, she will have two weeks to find help.

Then Mrs. Miracle shows up at the door saying that she is a “caring angel”. Laurel doesn’t understand because she was told that the agency had no caregivers available, but Mrs. Miracle has an answer for every question.

Mrs. Miracle takes control of the situation and Laurel begins to believe that she really is a miracle.

Ms. Macomber has a way of writing that really touches the reader’s heart. I definitely recommend A Mrs. Miracle Christmas and all of her previous Christmas books. They will definitely put you in the Christmas Spirit.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the author in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts are my own.

When I think of heart-warming tales with a Christian influence or message, I always think of books written by Debbie Macomber. Her books also deal with real life scenarios and don’t gloss over the pain and suffering that part of real life.

In this story, Laurel McCullough, is dealing with both the decline of her grandmother, Helen, and has given up the dream of having children (either her own or adopted.) She is sad and her husband Zack is trying his best to support her in her time of need.

Helen is having increasing difficulty remembering things. Because of that, Laurel and Zack have moved in to help her. Even so, it is becoming increasingly obvious that Helen needs someone to help her while Laurel and Zack are at work.

Money is short due to the expense of fertility treatments that were ineffective. When Mrs. Miracle shows up to help, Laurel is thrilled.

The story is about the effect that Mrs. Miracle has on this family. Meshed into that is the story of the first Christmas and what Christianity is about.

I enjoyed reading this book. It is part of a series of Christmas books that Debbie Macomber has written. Some of those books have even been made into Hallmark movies. I will be looking forward to reading more books by this author, especially those around the Christmas season.

I was provided a digital advance reader copy of this book by the publisher via Netgalley.

This book is just what the soul needs in a Christmas book. It is clean and sweet and full of goodness...and angels! You can never miss with a Debbie Macomber book. Her characters always overcome an obstacle set before them and find love and contentment along the way.
The story of A Mrs. Miracle Christmas doesn't have a couple falling in love with each other, but fighting to keep that love strong. Laurel and Zack have been dealing with infertility for years and after having to return a baby they were hoping to adopt, Laurel has decided she can't take anymore. Zack is still hoping a baby will be found for them and he's been getting weird "signs" that that may just be the case.
Mrs. Miracle returns as Laurel's grandmother's caretaker and she's up to her old mysterious ways again. Will her angelic ways help bring Laurel and Zack a baby or is she just a bit wacky like Zack thinks?

Who doesn’t love a Mrs. Miracle story? Do you believe that we have angels among us? This is a very sweet story about Helen (Nana) who has problems with dementia and Laurel and Zach who are wanting so badly to be parents. As you follow their journey you will get some insight into what can happen in these situations. Of course, Mrs. Miracle helps them in ways only she can. I loved it and hope you will also. I received this book from NetGalley, but my opinion is my own.

I loved this book! It was inspirational and left me with a such a good feeling. Laurel and Zach want a baby, but it looks like this is not to be. Laurel can't take any more disappoints and has closed off that part of her heart. In addition to this heart ache, her beloved grandmother is starting to need more help and appears to have some dementia. In steps Mrs. Miracle. She weaves peace and love and memories into all she does. Both for Laurel and for her grandmother.

This book leaves you with such a wonderful, warm fuzzy feeling. I loved it and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good Hallmark moment.

This starts out in a precarious situation with a woman with onset dementia and calling the police regarding her 10 year old missing granddaughter, Laurel. She had told the police that she was late coming home from school. Laurel walks into the house, as an adult with the police at her house. It is shortly before Christmas and the realization that grandma cannot stay home alone lies heavily on her shoulders, along with the debt from failed IVF. After speaking to the agency and being told there is a huge wait list, Laurel consults with her husband about what to do. He too has no idea what to do, so they decide to just hang tight until after the holidays. Shortly after this conversation, Mrs. Miracle appears at their door and has a solution to everything. Boy, could I sure use her in my life. Mrs. Miracle, I have a few stops for you to make..my house first, please! Did I mention my cousin with four kids who could also use a little Mrs. Miracle love and magic? PLEASE come my way!! Anyway, the book unfolds with Mrs. Miracle working her undeniable magic and interference, in a good way, in people's lives. A wish that Laurel never thought would come true is manifested. Mrs. Miracle is quite the Godsend! She is someone that I want in my household and wish that she would come and clean up my house, organize my life and fix what is broken. This is what Mrs. Miracle does and this book does not disappoint! I love everything Debbie writes and was so happy that I was able to review this one. I want to just hug Mrs Miracle after this book! If you are looking for a nice, heartfelt book, you will find it here and it ends with a smile, but it leaves you longing for Debbie to write yet another book and wonder why you torture yourself when you know another Christmas book is not coming out until next year. In the meantime, I will sit here and long for said book. Thanks Debbie for warming my heart on a not so cold fall day!

Laurel McCullough and her husband Zach needed to figure out what to do about her grandmother. Her health was declining and she was beginning to have bouts of confusion and memory loss. They lived with with her, but she was alone during the day while they were both at work. Laurel was also battling depression. She and Zach had been trying for years to have a baby and had even attempted adoption with no success. Laurel had given up on her dream of becoming a mother and it hurt her Grandmother to see her loss of faith. Then Mrs Miracle arrived on their doorstep......
What a wonderful Christmas book. This book not only touched my heart, but it renewed my faith. It is very uplifting and it will definitely put you in the Christmas spirit!

I love Debbie Macombers books--they always leave me with a smile on my face. This was no exception and the fact that was a Christmas book made me smile more. Zach and Laurel have been disappointed because they can't have children and even lost a foster child right before the adoption came through. When Laurel calls the Caring Angels agency to get help with her grandmother, who lives with them, they are surprised to have Mrs Miracle show up so unexpectedly. With her arrival comes the start of events that will change everyone's life. Such a sweet quick read, and with special appearances by my favorite angels, Shirley, Goodness and Mercy! Can't go wrong with a Debbie Macomber book! Thank you NetGalley for an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Look no further for a positive, thoughtful, and inspiring Christmas story. Laurel and Zach have been dealing with infertility for far too long and it's wearing on her especially hard. She doesn't know how much it's hurting Zach. Add to this, Laurel's beloved grandmother Helen is struggling with dementia. It's enough to make someone want to curl up under the covers but Laurel keeps going and then, just when she needs her most, Mrs Miracle comes to help take care of Helen. Readers of Macomber know that her stories often have difficult parts based on real life but that they are always uplifting. That's the case here as well. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Good storytelling and characters you will root for make this a very good read.

A Mrs. Miracle Christmas by Debbie Macomber is another one of her heartwarming, sweet Christmas stories. Those who read Macomber are aware of who Mrs. Miracle is, as there have been books on the wonderful Mrs. Miracle and well as Hallmark movies.

We meet Laurel McCullough, who is an elementary school teacher, and her husband, Zach, who have been trying to adopt a child, and suffered a big loss, when they succeeded to foster and adopt a son, only to lose him when the father of the child claimed him in the final days of the adoption. Being heartbroken, Laurel does not want to go through the pain again; but Zach still does not want to give up hope.

Laurel has lived with her grandmother, Helen, since she was 10 and when she married Zach, they had Helen move in with them. Slowly, Helen begins to get confused or forgets things, as she is in the start of dementia, and when one day she gets lost, Laurel decides its time to get help from a caregiver, during the hours she is at work. When no one is available until after the Christmas holidays, Laurel is shocked when Mrs. Miracle shows up at the door step saying she is a last-minute availability and would love to help.

Helen and Mrs. Miracle get along fabulously, and in a short time Mrs. Miracle is telling her stories about being an angel, her friends in heaven, and how she reports to Gabriel. Mrs. Miracle also reveals to Helen that a baby will become part of their lives in the near future. It doesn’t take long for Helen to believe everything, but knows she needs not tell too much to Laurel or Zach, as they would not believe a word of it.

What follows is a heartwarming & enjoyable story that pulls on your emotions, as we also get to see the grief and despair that Laurel and Zach suffer through; but their love is strong enough to be willing give up trying to adopt, as long as they have each other. Macomber touches base on emotional themes such as, infertily, adoption, foster care, as well as dementia. A Mrs. Miracle Christmas was a wonderful read, with a Christmas background and a great cast of characters. It certainly felt like Christmas and believing in miracles.

What an incredible story!

If I could give this book 10 star, I would. When I started this book, I figured I would read a few chapters and stretch it through the next couple days. That did not happen. I ended up reading it in less than 5 hours. I could not put it down. This story brought tears to my eyes right from the beginning. I don't think I had even hit page 2 yet and already my eyes were watering, and by the end of the book, I had went through a half of box of tissues. It's been a long time since I've read a book that has affected me like this.

Laurel and Zach have had trouble conceiving a child. Nothing they have tried has worked for them and the one time they fostered a little boy in the hopes of adopting, it didn't turn out like they had hoped it would. It has left them hurt and frustrated with no faith in sight. When Laurel's grandmother who they live with is diagnosed with Dementia and has a few scary episodes, they realize they need someone to stay with her while they are at work. There's just one problem, there's no available caregivers at this time. Then like a gift straight from God, Mrs. Miracle shows up at their door.

This was the perfect holiday story. It was an emotionally heartwarming tale about love, faith and never giving up hope. It reminded me that God is watching us, that he does hear our prayers and no matter how bad things get, just keep having faith that they will get better.

Mrs. Miracle returns in this sweet Christmas tale of a couple who yearns to have a baby. Dealing with infertility and dementia, this short, heart-warming novel reminds us of the true sentiments of the holidays, bringing joy and happiness to everyone. While it's fairly predictable and heavy on the "angel" themes, it's a lovely story. Thank you to Netgalley and Ballantine for the Advanced Review Copy!

I started weeping within the first few pages and I didn't let up until long after I finished the book. This is such a wonderful story with tender topics that touched my heart. I love the eternal perspective approach of Debbie Macomber and the peace her story engenders. I also appreciated the fact that hard feelings and misunderstandings aren't allowed to fester into greater problems. This is instructive in a way to handle our lives. Everything about this book is delightful and I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

5 Perfect stars! Seriously. Is this author even able to write anything but amazing stories?

Debbie Macomber never ever fails to satisfy my reader's soul. After reading six very powerful, emotionally morbid and dense, draining books, I picked up "Mrs. Miracle" and read it in less than 3 hours. It was like having an ice cold lemonade on a hot summer day.

Mrs. Miracle is the sweet, lovely story, set during the months of Christmas, of the great love of a married woman who, with her husband, moved into her Grandmother's house in order to take care of her, after the grandmother was diagnosed with dementia.

Laurel McCullough is a teacher at a local school, and a really good one at that. Her husband is supportive and wants very much to make Laurel happy. Laurel wants nothing more than to have a baby of her own, but it seems the fates are against them. Now, she and her husband, after a myriad of unsuccessful and emotionally painful fertility treatments are bunking with Nana in order to pay off their bills as much as to keep an eye on Nana.

Nana's dementia progressively gets worse, and eventually a day care arrangement must be made...and thus enters Mrs. Miracle. If I say much more I will give the story away, but what follows is a soul satisfying "feel good" read that will make your heart smile. No....Laurel and her husband are never pregnant, but something just as sweet occurs; something you could say was just short of a "miracle."

Do yourself a favor: take a mental vacation and read this story. It seriously made my heart smile.
