Laurel and Zach McCullough have had some trying times this past year and could really use some uplifting news. Their hopes of having a baby have been shattered more than once. And the grandmother that raised her now seems to be suffering from memory loss. They contact a home-care organization to help them to take care of her. They receive a joyful surprise when Mrs. Miracle shows up at their door. She turns out to be the godsend they really need. Just when all hope seems to be gone miracles happen.

Laurel (a schoolteacher) and her husband Zach want to be parents. They've had some huge disappointments in the past when they tried to have children. Now Laurel's grandmother, Helen, needs a caregiver and they hire Mrs. Miracle - an angel.

I enjoyed reading this story about Laurel, Zach, Helen and Mrs. Miracle. The struggles that Zach and Laurel faced were so realistic. Their faith was tested - but they do get a glimpse at happiness when they hire Mrs. Miracle. Mrs. Miracle is wonderful companion for Helen. Helen has not been doing well, so when Mrs. Miracle comes, her health gets better, and she works hard to help restore Laurel's and Zach's faith.

Both Laurel and Zach experience some strange happenings in this charming Christmas tale. These happenings involve Mrs. Miracle's angel friends, Shirley and Mercy.

What a sweet story! I admit to really loving Holiday stories and this one was not as "cliched" as so many can be. A different twist, sweet, inspiring, filled with hope. "Believe"... we all need a little of this :)

Oh I adored this book! I am obsessed with Christmas and I have to say this is one of the few Christmas books I have ever read- weird right? I read this in August so it made me so excited for the holiday season and the magic of Christmas. This would make a perfect Hallmark movie!

Before I start a Debbie Macomber story, I know to have plenty of time to read & a box of Kleenex nearby. Plenty of time to read because once I start the first page I know I will be so enthralled with the story that I won’t put it down until the last word is read. A box of Kleenex due to the way Ms. Macomber manages to pull your emotions out so completely. I cry. I laugh out loud. I sit & just smile while I’m reading each precious word.

A Mrs. Miracle Christmas is an emotional, heartwarming story that is perfect for the Christmas season. From the first word, I was swept up in Laurel & Zach’s struggle to move forward without the family they so desperately wanted. Zach’s faith and hope uplifted the heart even as Laurel’s despair and pain created tears. I was particularly drawn to Helen, Laurel’s Nana. My own grandmother suffered from dementia in the last years of her life & Helen’s life & experiences mirrored those we experienced with my grandmother. This was a truly wonderful story reminding us of the miracles of the Christmas season & to never lose faith.

Debbie Macomber is always a sure bet for an enjoyable read. A Mrs. Miracle Christmas captured me from the first page and I savored it till the end. This is a great holiday story also and I loved that the Angels from previous books made an appearance.

Such a sweet Christmas story that brings Mrs. Miracle back to visit! I've always loved Debbie Macomber's Christmas stories. It was nice to also include Shirley, Goodness and Mercy but I guess Will was busy elsewhere. This story is sure to out readers on the Christmas spirit as Mrs. Miracle shares her love with this special family. Highly recommended!!

A cup of cheer for “A Mrs. Miracle Christmas”! Absolutely loved this one. Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to enjoy this book well in advance of the release date. It brought my heart such joy! I have to say, to date, this is most likely one of my most favorite reads by Ms. Debbie! Perhaps it was the theme, or the timing of the story. I needed to come home to a tale such as this, these past few weeks! Having a rough day and then reading something to fun, uplifting and heart warming, I mean seriously how could it not make my heart happy! And, we just had some friends who were waiting for such a long time, just like Laurel and Zach, for their miracle to arrive. And it reminded me of them, and their journey. Things do work out as they should, when they should. And we all have a Mr.s Miracle in our corner if we look closely and pay attention.

This book was so well written, on point, heartwarming and just a wonderful read all around. I would recommend this for anyone in the midst of adoption, as a holiday read and I already have three people who I intend on purchasing this one for for Christmas.

A heartwarming story of love, family, and believing.
Laurel and Zach are happily married and live and take care of Laurel's grandmother who has dementia. They have tried desperately to have children, but have not been able to. After much heart break, they have given up hope.
With Nana getting more confused and getting lost, the couple decide to hire a companion for her while they are working. Mrs. Merkel, AKA Mrs. Miracle, is a blessing to them all. She helps them in ways they never dreamed were possible.
Debbie Macomber has done it again. This new Mrs. Miracle story will make you laugh, cry and fall in love.

This would make for a perfect Hallmark Christmas movie!!

This is a story about Laurel and Zach who live with Laurel's grandma Helen. Helen who is up there in years is starting to have early stages of dementia and needs someone to stay with her while Laurel and Zach are at work. Not able to find an agency that has a companion available Laurel and Zach are unsure what to do. Then there is a knock on the door. Mrs. Miracle.

As Mrs. Miracle is taking care of Helen she lets slip some of the struggles that the family is going through. Specifically, Laurel and Zach and their struggle and heartbreak with being childless. The family becomes a little leary of her when she knows things that she shouldn't know about the family.

This is a very sweet little Christmas story. It's a reminder that we are being watched over and those on the other side know our needs. That angels are sent to help us.

Another Awesome book by Debbie Macomber. As I read her books I keep thinking this one is her best one yet, until she writes her next one and then I think that one is. As she writes they just seem to keep getting better and better and this one does not disappoint.

I loves Mrs. Miracle in her last appearance and love her even more in this one. The way she is friends with Helen and makes her feel like she is young again. Puts everything right in Helen's world.

The way she helps Zach and Laurel as well. All I can say is that this is an emotional book that has me on the edge of my seat wondering as I read this book. The only question left in my mind now that I have finished the book is Wow this one was really good how is she going to top this.

As soon as I received notice that this book was available on NetGalley, I immediately requested it. This is the third book about Mrs. Emily Merkle, also known as Mrs. Miracle and it lives up to its heritage. The first two were made into Hallmark movies and I can see this installment also making a wonderful Christmas movie. The late Doris Roberts will always be Mrs. Miracle in my mind.

Laurel and her husband Zach live with Laurel’s grandmother Helene/Nana both to save money and to take care of her. When it’s obvious that Helene’s memory is slipping, they request assistance from Caring Angels, an in-home care service. When Mrs. Miracle arrives at their door a few hours later, their lives will never be the same, as is usual with anytime Emily Merkle/Mrs Miracle appears.

Mrs. Miracles knows things about the family and Nana that she wouldn’t normally know, about the past and the future. While the care of Nana is the central theme, the care of Laurel and Zach in their struggle with being childless is also a major concern. Debbie Macomber writes wonderful stories addressing serious issues with love and compassion. This book is another in the long list of endearing tales.

With the holidays comes stress and when it all piles up you could use a miracle. Laurel and Zach need help with their grandmother, Helen, who is having trouble taking care of herself and they are trying to deal with the heartbreak of not having a baby. After contacting a home-care agency for help they are told no one was available till the new year yet someone must have heart their prayers.

Mrs. Miracle is a godsend when she shows up unexpected on the doorstep at Laurel and Zach's house to take care of their grandmother. Mrs. Miracle is more than what she seems and has Helen even believing she is an Angel. This proves that a magical Christmas is possible if you believe and have faith. A special Christmas story that will leave your heart warm and make you believe again in magic.

Debbie Macomber never disappoints in her touching stories. This is my favorite Christmas theme book for the year! A stand-alone story that will get you in the Christmas spirit and feeling all warm inside. Like my family would say this a wholesome book that will touch your heart.

What a sweet book. I loved the fact Shirley, Mercy and Goodness were included in this book. A perfect holiday read that can be enjoyed throughout the year. If you have never read Debbie Macomber, this would be a good one to start with.

I am a big fan of all of Debbie Macomber's books, but especially her Christmas books.

This is another excellent Christmas book from the author, featuring the beloved Mrs. Miracle. We also meet up with her angelic friends from previous books, Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy.

Mrs. Miracle becomes a caretaker to Helen, who has dementia. As she does her “angelic” work with Helen, we find moments of laughter and joy as the two ladies grow close.

Mrs. Miracle also has come to help with answering the prayers of Lauren and Zach. Lauren is Helen’s granddaughter. They have had many disappointments with not being able to start a family and have given up hope that there will ever be a child in their lives.

A perfect Christmas read that you won’t want to put down once you start reading it.
I highly recommend this book to start your holiday reading.

I received a copy of this book from Random House Publishing – Ballentine and NetGalley, and this is my honest review.
