Reveal is Book 2 in the Wicked Ways series by K. Bromberg. The books must be read in order as this story picks up where Book 1 left off.
This story certainly kept me on my toes. Jam-packed with political intrigue, drama, conflict and some pretty intense heat. It drove me crazy not being able to second guess the author and the ending threw me for an unexpected loop.
This series is the first I've read by this author but it won't be the last. I look forward to reading more.

After reading resist I couldn’t wait a second to jump into this one. And it did not disappoint!!! After everything Vaughn worked for Will it be all taken from her? After opening herself up to the only person she has ever trusted be a huge mistake? Can she forgive and believe when the one person she did open up to hurt her in a big way? All I can say is give me Ryker any day!!! He might have totally screwed up but he isn’t going to give up going after what she wants. Just like Vaughn isn’t going to let anyone take what she wants and what she built away from her!!!! Book given to me by netgalley

Reveal, K. Bromberg, Wicked Ways book two
Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Genre: romance, general fiction (adult)
Confession time: I loved KB's Driven trilogy, which I read years ago, and I've enjoyed several of her follow up novels, so when I saw she was the author of this book I dived in and hit request. Wasn't til it was on my kindle I realised it was second part of a duet. Luckily book one was on KU so I borrowed that – loved it BTW – and went on to this.
What I love in a story is romance, but I want a novel that delivers more than just A meets B, and after a few struggles they live happily ever after. I want my characters to really get put through the mill and KB delivers all that in spades.
I loved Ryker, the type of guy you hate until you see beyond his surface, and when he meets Vaughn he's hooked, though he doesn't yet realise it. When we learn about his background its easy to see how that has influenced not just his career, but his whole way of living, and until he meets Vaughn he thinks he's content. Now he's seeing that he can have more – if he's brave enough to try. Vaughn though, that girl has some real problems....
I adored Vaughn, been through so much with the loss of her sister, with the awful family situation they had, and now she's determined to get custody of her niece Lucy, who has learning issues. Lucy is just adorable and loves Vaughn so much you just want things to work out for them, but life is stacked against them. Its hard already with Vaughn working two jobs to pay off the huge debts she ran up for her sisters medical care. Of course one of those jobs has to be kept quiet, hidden from social services, but that's the one that's bringing in the money.
Slowly the worlds she tries to keep apart start to collide, problems from her secret job start to create real issues to her custody application, and to her safety. She has secrets on all her clients, but some are bigger than others, and one in particular is bringing her into real danger. She can't trust anyone, she thought she could trust Ryker but the events at the end of book one threw that into confusion, and left her distraught and feeling so alone.
This book is action packed, full of drama, of secrets, of issues that seem to come between her and Ryker, even though its clear they are totally in love ( and lust!!!) Can they make it through, will her adoption of Lucy work out or is it all doomed to fail?
I had anticipated a few events but there were some that really threw me out completely, and the action - bam, bam, bam, with scarcely a break before she gets hit with the next problem. I so felt for her, I don't know what I'd have done in the same situation to determine what was the right for her, Lucy and Ryker, but I was so holding out for them.
Stars: Five, a cracking duet, full of scorching romance, and non-stop suspense

Gahhhh Ms Bromberg did it again. I absolutely loved this book. It starts off right where book one ends and just wow!

So I was mad when the last story ended of a cliff hanger and I had to wait to read the next part. That's just me - I prefer a cliff-hanger story only when all the books have already been released. (This is a two part series with this one being the second book.) DO NOT START WITH THIS ONE!!! YOU WILL BE LOST!!!
This one starts exactly where the last one stopped.
Duh! :)
I don't want to accidently type something that might give something away. Just know this one was awesome and a great conclusion to the first book. I need to give it some time and then read these two again back to back.
I highly recommend this series!

I've read others by this author so was thrilled to be able to read an advanced copy of this
Loved it - K Bromberg at her best
Steamy, hot and sexy
a great summer read

There is so much packed into Reveal. Vaughn and Ryker- what a story.
This book- I couldn't put it down. It has great chemistry, true feelings, twists and turns. Simple love that people fight for. K Bromberg gets it all in one book. I love how the story is developed from Resist.
Ryker is complex and grows so much. Vaughn is so torn throughout the book but knows what is important and fights to get what she wants- Her family. Another incredible duet by k. Bromberg!

This book packed a punch. It was fully loaded with all the answers from start to finish. The beginning was a little slow for me because there is a lot of Vaughn being confused in her feelings. You know the typical should I or should I not forgive him. There was some backpedaling on a few occasions. Ryker’s tenacity and because he was completely unrelenting is what finally broke down her walls. There were so many twist and turns throughout the book and the title absolutely lived up to its name. I could not get enough. The last part of the book was hands down phenomenal. Vaughn is a tough heroine. She was not going to be anyone’s doormat. There were times she was going to give up but she persevered and fought for what she wanted. All through this book Vaughn and Ryker really were put through the wringer. They had people coming at them left and right and seemed like they couldn’t catch a break. What an excellent conclusion. Definitely will be a reread for me.

This is the EPIC conclusion to Vaughn and Ryker's story. Their story left us needing answers and K. Bromberg did not disappoint with the craziness that continued between the two. There are some serious twists that some may claim are transparent but I loved the ride. Vaughn was a super strong character and I appreciated that she held on to so much of her independence. I didn't like that Ryker was so gullible for some of the things that happened but I did appreciate that he wanted to support Vaughn. The suspense level for this conclusion was ramped up to a crazy level and I loved it! The sexy parts were sexy and the side characters didn't override the main story between Vaughn and Ryker. I really enjoyed this duet!

Reveal picks up at the same heart breaking moment, Resist left off. All that ensues is the fallout from Ryker's conversation with Carter Preston. Vaughn's life is an extremely delicate balance, more than ever before the walls are closing in and everything is threatening to fall, but now she's nursing a broken heart too. Ryker wants nothing more than to explain himself to Vaughn and earn her forgiveness. Shutting him out so she can focus on Lucy, Vaughn tries to get on with her life with out him. She soon learns that her feelings are hard to ignore, and that maybe she was wrong in her assumptions.
Reveal was intense to say the least, every time I thought things couldn't get worse for Vaughn, they did. There were so many different rabbit trails and characters in the plot and they all tied together so fantastically. I loved Vaughn, admired her drive to do whatever it took to get custody of Lucy. I felt for Ryker, he just wanted to help because he loved her, but inadvertently made everything worse, the heartbreak, the jealousy, the guilt, I could feel it all. And that plot twist at the end, I did not see it coming. I wanted so badly to devour this book, but took my time to savor it, and I'm glad I did. I highly recommend this duet.

I can't believe she did it again! K. Bromberg wrote a book that just blew me away. Again. This is the second Wicked Ways book and it completes the story of Vaughn and Ryker. I can't say anything more than that because I will give too much away. I can say that I did not expect the book to go in the direction it did. I was surprised at every turn and none of the drama was predictable. I did not see the last twist coming. At. All.
Vaughn & Ryker are very flawed characters but their hearts are so big and we see how they grow as individuals and as a couple. Lucy is darling. I fell in love with her. Ryker is swoon worthy. I couldn't get enough of him. He is the book boyfriend we all want. He is vulnerable, at times, and the hero when he wants to be. However, he does it all for love. Vaughn is just a woman who had so much thrown at her and we feel her breaking down and then we see how she finds the courage to stand up for herself and those that she loves. .
This book ties up all the loose ends of Resist. It made me laugh with, get angry with, fall in love with and
forgive the characters. It was one of those stories that sticks with you.
K. Bromberg has been a favorite of mine for quite a long time. I'm not surprised this book was so good. I definitely recommend this book. Read Resist first then read this. You will not be disappointed.

*4.5 stars*
Wow! What a heart pounding, action packed ride this was! After the shocking cliffhanger in Resist, Reveal immediately picks up from there, and the action doesn’t stop until the very end. This book was intense, somewhat exhausting in how many secrets, lies, and mysteries were unraveled. But, seriously, I don’t think my heart stopped racing from the moment I started reading. It really does take you on an incredible ride, and you’re trying to figure out what the heck is happening here. There is no cliffhanger. We get a perfect epilogue to finish this thrilling duet. Can’t recommend it enough!
* I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Cheese and rice.
This book has put me through the notions or what.
So many ups and downs i didn't know which way to look and what to feel, anger was a good portion but then you have the 'aww' moments and the steam. It was the perfect mix.
I don't know what it is about K Bromberg but when she writes a character your supposed to hate she does it exceptionally well like I've never felt so much hate and anger towards the bad characters as i do when it comes to her books.
When i first finished Resist a few weeks ago i thought the wait would kill me not knowing what's going on with these characters and i did but it also gave me that time away to think about these characters more and more.
I forgot just how much i loved the characters until i picked this book back up, like you have high thoughts and expectations of them but then you read more of them or go back to them and realise the thoughts you had before was nothing compared to what you feel when you have them back in your hands and your reading them again.
❤

This heart stopping conclusion was everything I wanted to be and more. Full of emotion and passion with an edge of the sinister lurking I the shadows, waiting to devour them both. Will she let him in and forgive him for his mistakes, or will she continue to shut him our? Can he get through to her and love them both with all his heart, without fear, before it's too late? Obstacles to overcome, hoops to be jumped through, enemies and allies alike making it impossible. But that's what love is, against all odds, coming together with trust and nothing but the truth to guide you through it and hoping to be one of the lucky few that get to experience it, without pretense. Beautiful, emotional and full of the inspiration that comes with the innocence of a child's love and I throughly enjoyed every minute of this un-putdownable story.

I loved this conclusion to Ryker & Vaughn's story. Plenty of emotions, action, mistakes and more. They certainly didn't make it easy to reach their HEA. There were times that I wanted to shake them both. The chemistry in this one was seriously hot & I loved the way the story twisted and turned right to the very end. Definitely recommend.

Complex characters and pulse-pounding chemistry make Reveal by Author K Bromberg one of my all time favorite reads!
The hot, romantic tension and sexy back and forth will have you fanning yourself as you flip the pages and devour this multi layered adventure in reading. You can always trust this author to deliver a skillfully written, sublime read!

Wicked Ways is definitely one of the top duets that I have read this year! Vaughn & Ryker’s story is a must read!
These beautifully complex characters of Vaughn & Ryker consumed me from the first page to the last! Vaughn & Ryker’s journey was in no way an easy one, but was worth it in the end. I had learned while reading to expect the unexpected. I don’t want to spoil the story in anyway so read and be ready to fall in love with these characters!
I can’t wait for more by K. Bromberg!
I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Reveal is the conclusion of Vaughn and Ryker's story and I think K. Bromberg did a great job with this duet with fantastic writing and a compelling and compelling storyline.
The story begins from where the other book left off and without wanting to go into detail I can only say that it was good to have Ryker's point of view to understand what was going through his mind at that time. This book has more drama, more mysteries, and events than the first. I think while the first book served to show the characters and kick-start the story, it was here that the "action" really happened.
What can I say about the characters? Vaughn pissed me off at times in this book, there were times when I wanted to tell her to stop being so stubborn and accept help, even understanding her motives. And Ryker, is that character who was a jerk at the beginning of the book and made things harder for the heroine, but in my view has been redeemed throughout the book.Together they had a fantastic chemistry and even their relationship going on "fast" K. Bromberg did a great job of making their romance believable and captivating. I loved them together and every page hoped they would finally have their happy ending.
Although I think in the end everything was explained and the story made a full circle I found the ending a bit run and wish I had seen more.
Reveal brings a satisfying ending to this duet by creating a deliciously intriguing and totally addictive storyline.

Reveal is book two in the Wicked Ways duet and it picks up where Resist leaves off, with Vaughn feeling used and lied to by Ryker after overhearing Ryker and Carter's conversation.
While Resist was a little more lighthearted, I felt like Reveal was heavy on the drama and plot twists, which at times, made the book somewhat hard to follow.
Overall, I did enjoy this book. But, I think the drama could have been taken down a few levels.

Goodness, what a wild ride this book was! Kristy left us on a doozy of a cliffhanger at the end of Resist, and not gonna lie, my mind was racing with what the hell was really going on and how was Ryker going to get himself out of the mess he landed in.
I am SO happy that Kristy starts Reveal out in Ryker's point of view. I mean yes, he has a reputation as being a world class prick and a take no prisoners lawyer to get what he needs for his clients, but I thought he had been turning a huge corner with Vaughn, only to act the way he did at the very end of book 1. He had some serious making up to do with Vaughn, and bless her, she made him WORK FOR IT!
Poor Vaughn, everything and the kitchen sink gets thrown at her in this book! I was getting stressed out and having stomach aches over the things she had to deal with! But Kristy illustrates perfectly what a fighter Vaughn is, how much strength and perseverance she had to weather all the storms thrown at her.
Some whacked out things happened this go around, worse than in the first book, but we finally get all the answers to everything we were left hanging with from the beginning. And Ryker and Vaughn together? An unstoppable team!
Kristy certainly wove a twisted, turning tale and I tried to figure out what all was going to happen but ultimately I just gave up and held on for the ride! Vaughn and Ryker both did a lot of soul searching and figured out exactly was the most important to them, and I absolutely loved them together. And Lucy Loo, of course!!
The ending put the biggest smile on my face, and I hate that this is the end of the story. I hope these characters continue to pop up as cameos in future stories from Kristy, I don't want to say goodbye!
