I'm not entirely sure what I was expecting, maybe those adorable little mini-worlds in a matchbox but this was not that.
It felt like someone had just shoved some junk in a box and called it art. I flicked through but was really disappointed.

This book is filled with really beautiful projects with basic guidelines on creating your own unique art box. I loved the butterfly box project and am looking forward to trying this technique with pins and paper butterflies.

A bit disappointing, not what I was expecting at all. Not very professional looking designs. I wouldn’t want to do any of the projects in this book and definitely wouldn’t want to give as presents being a crafter. I wouldn’t recommend or buy this book. I was expecting much more from this.

This book is incredible, full of brilliant and inspiring art boxes. They were all so unique and very creative, a real pleasure for the senses. The projects and the illustrations of different types of art boxes were excellent. I loved the book and would definitely like to have a go at creating my own art box. The instructions were detailed enough to follow but also flexible enough to adapt. This is a quality book, one to be dipped into and mulled over time and time again.

This book really inspires me! I am in no way creative and artsy, but this beautiful book makes me want to give crafts a try.
