The FASTR process explains how to manifest and overcome negativity that life throws at us.
It’s similar to many psychological tools around acknowledging emotions, accepting them and releasing them.
This didn’t reveal anything new and personally I would recommend other books to someone wishing to understand emotions better.

I feel like this was another one of the self help self improvement books that just didn't work. It felt preachy and as though everyone has the power within to change themselves. These books never account for the elements in your life that you cannot control. It was decent but definitely nothing I would recommend.

The book had a LOT of information in it. I really like the premise behind it (i.e. overcome society's deep-rooted cultural negative programming and overcome any obstacle and improve your self-confidence. Use balance and intention to attract your desires and find your "True Purpose" in life.) I just felt like there was too much/ an information overload. I haven't quite figured out how to go about the process and feel a bit overwhelmed. But I have always had a problem with motivation/ getting started, so that could be it too.

I don't want to put "slight negatives" out about the book, so won't post the above on Amazon/ Goodreads.

Many apologies but this simply was not for me. It is personal opinion and I hate giving a DNF review but it simply wasn't the right fit. I will mark as 3 stars for a neutral review as I DNF.

This is a very interesting book that has a bit of everything in. It is almost like a Vulcan mind dump by the author. I don't think it lives up to its claims though, but it is a really good conversational read. The author is very well read and experienced but the book just tries to do too much and include too many things. It goes off on lots of tangents and the process isn't straight to the point or easy to follow. Having said all that I did enjoy the book and listening to the authors research and points of view. She has a lovely writing style, very friendly, down to earth and easy to read. I enjoyed the book as a good uplifting read rather than for the process described. Overall a very good book.
