This is the second book in the series, but I read it as a standalone with no problem. This title is the silliest, and doesn't really indicate much at all about the book, which is really cute (+kind of hot?)! I really wanted to love this book but I found myself struggling to finish.

I had to mark this as did not finish. The lead girl's personality was so grating. The writing was so simple.

I couldn't finish this- the dialogue was difficult to get through, especially the text exchanges. And I couldn't see how they were going to get beyond the client/rep angle. Just not my cup of tea.

I very much tried to get into this book. I just couldn't connect with Lorie or Saam. That happens, and I wish it didn't but this book was a no from me. Lorie seemed to be a people pleaser and Saam seemed to hide himself. I'll be putting this on my "try again" list and returning at a later date to see if anything changes, but I didn't enjoy what I could get through of this book. I do encourage readers to make their own opinion and try out this book for themselves, though. Just because it wasn't for me, doesn't mean you won't love it.

This book was very sexy and I enjoyed the sexual tension between the main characters, but the romance and the relationship kind of got lost in the plot which wasn't that great. Overall, I was just kind of bored.

Lorie is a pharmaceutical sales representative selling a major diabetes drug that markets to children and older patients. Saam is a doctor who treats pediatric and elderly diabetic patients. Lorie is tasked with getting standoffish, unfriendly, tough Dr Saam to prescribe her drug for her sales team. While presenting her pitch to the doctor, she accidentally takes his phone and leaves hers in his office. When she realizes the mistakes as she is driving hours away for a conference, panic and embarrassment sets in. She tries to rectify the situation as quickly as possible by meeting him for pizza the next night she is back in town to switch back phones. She is attracted to him, but it is against the rules to buy gifts for, let alone date any of the doctors she calls on. Lorie heads to Camp Sunshine for a weekend of volunteering when unexpectedly, Saam shows up. She knows she should ignore him, but their attraction is undeniable.

This novel is high on romance and chemistry. Both Saam and Lorie are so lovable and attractive, I found myself praying they find a way to work out their differences and continue with their love story.

This book was ok but I have to say I didn’t love the DRs personality at times and some of the things he said and did made it hard for you to believe he is actually a doctor. Other then that I enjoyed it. Thanks NetGalley.

I chose to read this book because it takes place in Atlanta, so I could picture the scene, but despite all the hospitals in Atlanta (though most of them have been gobbled up by Emory) the author chose to make one up. So, there really wasn't much for me to identify with, but I enjoyed the story anyway.

Former beauty queen Lorie Braddick, from Social Circle, Georgia, had to give up competing after her father made a bad business investment. She has a new goal, as a pharmaceutical rep, to move up fast in the company. Being a people person, she is very popular with the doctors, except for Dr. Saam Sherazi, fresh out of med school. She thinks he is a condescending ass and he thinks that women are only interested in him as a doctor, money ticket,... but she smells like orange blossoms. When they accidentally switch phones, they get a glimpse into what the other person is really like- and are attracted to each other, finding they have a lot in come, including music and that they both volunteer at Camp Sunshine, a camp that enriches the lives of Georgia's children with cancer. Lorie is the first woman who has distracted Saam from his patients. However, when Saam realizes that the insulin that Lorie's company sells is the best for his patients and starts prescribing it, it becomes a conflict of interest for them to have a relationship. Despite how she feels about Saam, she is afraid it will ruin his reputation and hurt her team if their relationship would becomes public, so she feels she must break it off. When does Lorie get her happy and how will Saam and Lorie's friends, help her see what is most important in life?

I read an ARC from NetGally.com. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

As a pharmaceutical rep, Lorie knows she’s landed her dream job. She has all intentions of moving up in the company. With her drive and personality, Laurie can get thru to any doctor. Well, every doctor except Dr Saam Sherazi. It seems not even Lorie can get thru to him.
Dr. Sherazi has seen when women only look at his title and see the possibility of a doctor for a husband, which is why he doesn’t date. Laurie Braddock is one determined woman, the way that she won’t give up talking to him. When he decides to hear her out, on a new diabetes medication that could help countless of his patients, Saam not only listens to her, but really takes a good look at her. During their meeting Laurie notices they have similar phones and compares them. Later that afternoon Saam realizes that Laurie took his phone and now he’s got hers. Calling her to alert her and make plans to make the switch, Saam is actually looking forward to seeing her again. Only problem is that after she left his office, she went out of town.
This is when it gets really good. They start texting and doing late night phone calls getting to know each other. Now she’s all he can think about. Their chemistry is intense, however, Laurie doesn’t want to jeopardize her career by getting involved with him.
Dr. Sherazi has finally met a woman he wants to spend his life with, but he doesn’t know how to overcome these obstacles.
I loved this book. The characters sizzled. You will not be able to put it down!
I received a copy of this arc in exchange for an honest review.

He's a modern day Darcy, MD., she's an ex beauty queen sales rep.

Dr. Saam Sherazi is an introvert, a twin who has focused on med school.
Lorie Bradock is an ex beauty queen turned medical sales rep.
Getting involved with a doctor is a no no, as is getting involved with said doctor when he just been funded by her company? Its a no win for Lorie and Saam.

I loved Saam, he's thoughtful, a modern day Mr. Darcy who uses the word proclivity (I happened to use it by chance today, too). He's an introvert and not a player. But his curiosity gets the better of him when he and Lorie switch phones. It leads to an insight into her he would never have the social skills to get.

Lorie is the outgoing, work focused sales rep. Saam's opposite.
But things heat up at camp, and they keep running into each other...can they over come all the odds against them?

This one wasn't my favorite but wasn't problematic or so bad I couldn't read it. I just don't think it was right for me. Some things I liked were the relationship Lorie and her best friend had and I felt the tension was good between Saam and Lorie. One of the main issues I had was the conflict of their work environment didn't feel like an insurmountable problem. The characters seemed to drag on the work issue for longer than necessary.

Really enjoyed reading Lorie and Saam's banter. It was also nice to see co-workers/bosses nice and getting along as well as supporting each other without the stereotypical bitch/dickhead. The screw up with the phones was great. Plenty of steamy-ness with Lorie and Saam both in person and on the phone. When troubles came up they acted like rational adults (mostly) instead of going all drama. The only thing, and it is very minor, I wish the title was different. It just didn't seem to be Lorie or Saam to me.

Sam and Lorie were spitfires!! I enjoyed their buildup, confrontations, and the way that they worked through it all. Not everyone has the traditional dating relationship. It was a great change from the norm. Great read!!

This title is the silliest, and doesn't really indicate much at all about the book, which is really cute (+kind of hot?)! Lorrie and Saam are just trying to figure stuff out and have some set-backs along the way. Secret relationship stories are always kind of fun--and angsty--and this one isn't without either of those. I also loved the focus on the medical field here. It was definitely a story I hadn't read before!

A fun romantic comedy about a hunky, shy Persian doctor and a serious, former beauty queen pharmaceutical rep. It’s a bit quirky with some sexy bits too. I enjoyed it.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Lorie Braddock is a former beauty queen trying to make her way as a drug sales rep. She has to talk to doctors about the company she works for and the drug they make. Sometimes it helps if the doctor will write a prescription or two. This will help Lorie look good to her boss and maybe help her team in the long run.

Dr. Saam Sherazi is fresh out of medical school and is focused on one thing, doing his job and doing it well. He wants to start doing research on juvenile diabetes. If he can get money to help with the research, it would make things so much better. He doesn't let all the drug sales reps into his office, they only waste his time.

Only Lorie pushes her way in with his favorite latte. There is sizzling chemistry between them that neither can deny. When they end up at a diabetes camp together, the sizzle turns into a full-blown fire. But when the weekend is over, Lorie begins to think her job may be in jeopardy.

Can Saam and Lorie make a relationship work in secret? Will Lorie lose her job if her boss finds out? Will Saam ends things because he isn't going to try to convince her they belong together?

I really liked this story and found that I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. The way Saam was with Lorie was almost perfect. This is the second book in this series and I can't wait to see what the next one is about.

This is the second book in the series, but I read it as a standalone with no problem. I didn't really think that the sexting was the main focus of the story, in fact, it came rather out of left field for me – but I did think that the romance itself had merit.

I am not entirely convinced that Saam would have taken that direction professionally at the end, but there was some logic in his choice. It certainly resolved the professional ethics questions that he and, most particularly, Lori suffered with throughout. Her behaviour was possibly the most difficult to understand, in spite of the fact that Saam is the socially awkward one. I fear that I didn't really get a handle on either of them as people, which meant that I had less investment than I might have done. Funnily enough, Liza is the one who I could describe most closely.

I have to confess that the issue of medical sales is one which I found interesting, and a good reminder of how big business has far more influence on our lives than we would like to imagine!

I went into this book expecting a really good hate-to-love romance to sweep me off my feet and.... I didn't get that. Maybe for 3 seconds. This was a sweet story about two individuals used to giving others their all and not thinking about what would make themselves happy. It was just lacking for me in the sense that Saam is made out to be someone we should all hate at first but begin to love as the story progresses but he literally went from an asshole to a marshmallow in 0.5 seconds. (Also calling someone "exotically dark" is a no-go for me) So the buildup for me to establish getting invested in their love story wasn't really there. Towards the end the angst was definitely there but I feel like everything was getting wrapped up super quickly only for it to end very abruptly. It was a pretty decent love story overall but the timing of the book throughout was pretty inconsistent.

3 stars - I hard time connecting with Lorie and felt that Saam was the better developed character, which is funny since Saam is the socially awkward member in the relationship. Lorie made all the decision in the relationship without talking anything over with Saam, I cheered when Saam block her on his phone. The lack of communication was all on Lorie's part, with Saam and her employer, and became frustrating. Lorie's attitude of "I know best" got old and made me wonder what the attraction was on Saam's part, other than the physical. Not a terrible read, just an average read.

This is the second book by Evie Claire that I've read, and I think it's safe to say that she clearly isn't the author for me. Part of my problem with I Wanna Sext You Up is that I felt like it didn't really know what it wanted to be. The cover and blurb made me expect a lighthearted, possibly fluffy bit of fun, but the story veers in another more serious direction. I have no problem with either, but I felt misled with this one. Unfortunately, neither direction really worked for me. I had a problem with the characters in the first book of this series, and that continued here. They're all a little one-dimensional and I can't say that I particularly liked either Lorie or Saam. Awkward geek can be adorable, but Saam is just over the top and comes off as mostly rude. And Lorie was so consumed with climbing the ladder that it's the only thing I really knew about her for the first several chapters. In the end, there really wasn't much about this one that did work for me, and it was only my sheer determination, or maybe obsession, about finishing a book that kept me going. Considering that I'm now 2 for 2 with this series, I think I'll just call it and say enough is enough, time to move on.
