What a cute fun book. The doctor was a little hard to get past his social awkwardness at first but then it just grew on me and I kinda sort of loved it. They were such a great story about giving up everything when you don’t want to and then taking a chance when you need to.

I Wanna Sext You Up is a super fun read and I enjoyed it so much. It’s about Lorie who is a former beauty queen from small town Georgia where her family had a scandal and she’s now a sales rep for a pharmaceutical company. Lorie has big goals for herself and wants to achieve them all and do it all the ethical way, a lot is riding on her to succeed. She is trying to get in to see the Dr. Saam Sherazi who is known to not see drug reps and has even banned them from his office. Saam is socially awkward and not the kindest person to new people in his life and all the women he meets are usually only interested in him because of MD behind his name. Lorie seems to intrigue to Dr Sherazi and they have a conversation over her diabetic med and her bringing him a latte and the ethics of it. These two are both kind hearted people who are just trying to help others out and yet are super stubborn. This book has funny moments and sexy moments. Definitely a good book about women succeeding.

I loved this book. I thought it was the perfect amount of romance, steam, and comedy. I honestly have nothing negative to say about it. I would love to read more books by this author and will be checking out her backlog right after I post this!

This is the first book that I have read by Evie Claire, but it will not be the last. I went into this book with not knowing what to expect other than a work romance that apparently would include sexting of some sort based on the title, which honestly led me to expect a very light and breezy read with some steamy scenes thrown in. What I got was multidimensional characters and a plot that was complicated and full of self discovery. Also, let's not forget those well written steamy scenes.

Dr Saam Sherazi is not long out of medical school. He is gorgeous, hence women flock to him, not only because he is gorgeous but because he is a doctor and a good “catch”. His patients come first and he has no time for distractions. Lorie’s job is important to her. She is a drug rep and Saam is on her list of doctors to sell to. She is selfless and always gives of herself to others. She meets Dr Saam and there is instant and powerful chemistry between them. Do they overcome obstacles to their relationship or do they give up? Entertaining and fun read. I loved the characters.

This the second book in the Let's talk about sext series. I thought this story was a light fun read. It was well written and I enjoyed the story-line. I enjoyed reading about Saam and Lorie. I look forward to reading more stories from this author. Thank you Loveswept and NetGalley for letting me reading this ARC.

Don’t let the title fool you - this isn’t a light and fun book about sexting. But it is a sweet and emotional book about two people who would never have gotten to known one another if they hadn’t accidentally swapped phones. There’s too much indecision between the leads for me to call this a 5-star read, but I did enjoy it from start to finish.

The story follows Lorie, a former beauty queen now working as a pharmaceutical rep. She’s focused on her career and not depending on her looks to advance her. When she is tasked with getting the rude and unfriendly Dr. Saam to switch to her company’s brand, she gets more than she bargained for. They accidentally swap phones and wind up learning things about each other that they never would have otherwise, which makes their attraction build. But there is no one more forbidden than the doctor who could make or break Lorie’s career.

When I saw this on NetGalley, I was excited to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review because the name and title made me believe it would be a light and fun book with great text banter. While it was that at times, the majority of the book is much deeper and angst-filled. I liked Saam a whole lot (Lorie I have mixed feelings about), and he made the story come alive. Ultimately, there was just too much back and forth in the final third of the book for me to say that I loved it, but I definitely enjoyed the journey along the way.

I have this thing about completing a series, even if I don’t like them, which is the case in this book. I had read Let’s Talk About Sext and loathed it. I was hoping that it wouldn’t be the case with I Wanna Sext You Up.

The plotline for I Wanna Sext You up was simple. Saam and Lorie have a working relationship. He is a doctor known for being icy cold and anti-social. She is a pharmaceutical rep who is trying to get Saam to try a new drug. What starts as business relationship turns into a sexual relationship. Saam and Lorie’s new relationship could cause a conflict of interest. Will they be able to overcome it? Or will their relationship fail before it starts to get going?

I wasn’t a massive fan of Lorie’s at the beginning of the book. My issue with her was that she was bland. She didn’t get super mad or super happy. I wish she did because it would have made a difference in this review.

Saam was alright. He was written to be like what a Dr would be in real life. I didn’t need to know that he was socially awkward all the time. It was interesting the first few times in the book. But after that, eh. I did like his passion for medicine and was hoping that there would be more scenes with him being a Dr in the book.

I got zero sense of any attraction between Saam and Lorie. Even the sexting scenes made me go, “Eh.” Now saying that their first sex scene was AHMAZING!! Unfortunately, it wasn’t repeated. The sex scenes became dull. It frustrated me because I saw what it could be like.

Even though I Wanna Sext You Up is the second book in the Let’s Talk About Sex series, it can be read separately. The characters from the first book do make an appearance in I Wanna Sext You Up, but the author kept it at that, an appearance. Which I was thankful for because I couldn’t stand Phebe.

The end of I Wanna Sext You Up was your typical romance novel ending. Lorie and Saam got their HEA. I am wondering who book three is going to be about. There are a couple of candidates. Guess I will have to see.

I would give Let’s Talk About Sext an Adult rating. There is no sex. There is language. There is no violence. I would recommend that no one under the age of 21 read this book.

I would reread Let’s Talk About Sext. I would recommend it to family and friends.

This is the second book I have read by Evie Claire and the second book in this series. It can definitely be read as a stand alone.

I really liked Sam but thought Lorie was kind of annoying. Overall I did like them as a couple. While this trope has definitely been done I thought this book was well written. If you are looking for a quick, fun read then definitely pick up I Wanna Sext You Up!

Thank you to NetGalley and Loveswept for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Picking up the wrong phone opened the door of communication between the hot doc and the lady pharmaceutical sales rep. Sneaking peeks at each other's personal pictures and messages turned up the heat. But some company rules make a close relationship out of the question. A little too long and drawn out to answer the question of can we or can't we, but I did like the truth or dare.

This is the second book in the Let’s Talk About Sext series, and I absolutely loved it! I adore books that are light-hearted, fun, characters that are out of the ordinary, and to top it off well written. Lorie is a young new Drug Rep for a pharmaceutical company that is pushing a new pediatric diabetic drug for doctors to start prescribing their young patients. Dr Sam Sherazi is a new doctor who has devoted his young life so far to getting through medical school, and devoting everything he has to is patients care, he’s completely socially shut off, seems mad at the world, and especially doesn’t like drug reps, at least until Lorie comes along. What I loved about this couple was the chemistry they had right off the bat. What made it interesting was the web of complications the two had with her being a drug rep and him being the doctor she calls on to get her numbers up for the drug she’s pushing for her company. I personally found this book to be very entertaining and will definitely be reading more from this author. Definitely worth the read,

This was a sexy book that kept my attention. I enjoyed the story and the chemistry. I liked the characters a lot and their scenes together kept me engaged throughout.

I enjoyed reading this book, I really did but I needed more at the end! You just left me hanging....you left me to my own imagination (which never is a good thing when reading books for me)!

With that said, this was a great read and I enjoyed the emotional push and pull between the characters. Mainly because the issues that arise around them were legitimate things and very real worries that people in their working positions would have to deal with. That alone made this book feel real while reading it. I’m enjoying this author so far and I’m glad I stumbled upon her and decided to give her books a shot.

I received I Wanna Sext You Up by Evie Claire through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This is the story of a girl who has a crush on her older brother's friend. While there is some minimal "sexting," for the most part the title is not really pertaining to the story. That being said, it was a good story and I enjoyed it.

This is my first Evie Claire book. I really enjoyed the uniqueness of the character Saam, he was your uber geek doctor with pretty sparse people skills but a heart of gold. Lorie was a pill pushing pharmaceutical rep (and I say this with nothing but kindness!) who turns Saam's perfect in a box world on edge. But will they risk their relationship or their jobs to be happy? I loved Evie's writing, she had me hooked, though I wish the romance scenes had a little more meat to them and that's just my personal preference, nothing against the author. I can't wait to read more of Evie's work, I honestly enjoyed her writing and can't wait to explore more of her worlds.

I received and ARC of this book in return for my honest opinion.

I really enjoyed this story. I was sucked in from page one. I love Lorie how strong of a woman she was. Saam made me mad at first but as their story developed so did my love for Saam. I’d love to see more of this couple!

I really wanted to love this book but I found myself struggling to finish. Out of the two characters, I enjoyed Saam’s perspective the most, especially his introverted / socially awkward moments. That said, I didn’t feel the characters were developed enough. Overall, we get these sketches of the lives of Lorie and Saam but we don’t get the depth that comes from family background supported by relationships. The closest Saam came was the phone calls with his twin and I thoroughly enjoyed those moments. I didn’t connect with Lorie. I didn’t follow the correlation between her burning to succeed in her pharma sales and the apparent drama with her family. As for their relationship, I was underwhelmed by the chemistry between the two. I think I was more under the expectation that there would be flirty texts and yet the sexting that did happen was rather ordinary, making the relationship itself feel lukewarm.

I loved the idea of this sort-of forbidden romance but the execution was off. I would give the author’s work another try but unfortunately, this book was a bust for me.

I really enjoyed Lorie & Saam’s story. There were a lot of interesting twists & turns throughout their relationship. I enjoy how Evie Claire tells a story & recommend reading Let’s Talk About Sext before this one, but I like that you don’t have to to enjoy it, I liked seeing what Phoebe & Brody were up to, though. Highly recommend this book,

This one didn't work for me. Many of the romantic moments felt more cringy than steamy. The story moved much too slowly, and I didn't see enough interaction between the love interests.

Saam - hot, awkward doctor and Lorie - do-good pharmaceutical sales rep, unintentionally swap phones one day. Cute premise, leads to the "non-date" first date to exchange phones. Saam came across as more socially inept and hyper focused on his patients. It was difficult to connect or feel attracted to him as the love interest in this story. While I enjoyed reading Lorie and Saam's story, the writing style left me confused/lost feeling several times.
