This is a welcome return to Hotel LaBelle , full of supernaturals and love .

Bert Blackfeather is a veteran and eagle shifter - his life in a wheelchair does not hold him back - how could it he deals with greater problems - supernaturals !
Into his life comes a new boss , she is lacking in experience , just what he doesn't need - a Senator's daughter .
Phoebe Wagner, an empath with psychometric abilities and an advocate for the deaf , has fought to make her own way - but the sparks fly once she shakes his hand - almost literally .
When Bert's niece is kidnapped from the hotel they must learn to work together and trust that the feelings between them will breach the hurt that both have suffered in the past , as they try to rescue her .

This books deals with disabilities with great empathy - along with introducing the reader to Native American
culture and myths .

I was given an arc of this book by the Publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was an interesting paranormal romance whose main protagonist not only have special ability but also have experience with disabilities. Both are strong leads and are determined to solve a kidnapping that hits close to home for Bert . They feel a mutual attraction but do not act on it as Bert has his reservations about Phoebe's character and leadership position. Interesting plot and compelling characters.

Bert Blackfeather is a veteran hero and an eagle shifter. He is also in a wheelchair but that doesn’t stop him. He deals with people with special powers. Bert doesn’t need a boss with no experience. Phoebe is a senator’s daughter but has fought to make her own way. She is also an empath and deaf and an advocate for the deaf. Also Bert’s new boss. Bert and Phoebe have both been hurt and bert never plans on being serious ever again with a woman. Bert’s niece as been kidnapped from Hotel Lebelle. Phoebe seems to have to prove herself over and over. Bert has to go home because of his niece and Phoebe is determined to go and help him investigate and find his niece. So she goes back to Bert’s home with him.
I loved this book. I loved the Native American culture the author showed us in this book. I loved Phoebe and Bert together and how they interacted despite their given disabilities. I loved the paranormal aspects also. I was drawn in from the beginning of this book and stayed that way until the end. I loved the plot and pace. I loved how the author brought in the disabilities but showed how strong the human spirit can be and can work around them. I loved the patriotism and Bert being a hero. Bert and PHoebe have hot chemistry. I loved the intrigue, danger, action, and suspense in this book. I loved the small town and family in this book. At times I chuckled and other times I shuddered while reading this book. I loved the characters and the twists and turns of this book and I highly recommend it.

Wow, 1st time reading this author. Loved Phoebe and Bert’s story so much had to go back and get the 1st 2 books of this series. Phoebe is deaf and the daughter of a Senator. Bert has no legs but he can fly, doesn’t that make you curious. When Bert’s niece is kidnapped it takes Bert’s and Phoebe’s special abilities to get her back! Read to find out what those abilities are.

I read this book as an arc from NetGalley. I gave it 5 stars
