This has a real mix of everything, Fantasy, Romance and Erotica.

The characters were well developed and the story draws you in from the start.

Well worth a read.

This was a more steamy book than I was anticipating. Not a bad thing at all but I wanted more than what this gave. There was weird magic that I didnt understand how it worked. The world building was lacking. Just an average read.

This fast-paced, steamy tale was full of elves, magic, mirth, mystical warriors, adventures, friendship, duty, betrayal, trust, hope, and love. It was well written, captivating, and highly entertaining. I had never read anything by Carolee Croft, but I enjoyed every page and can't wait to read the next book in this wonderful trilogy.

I was given a free copy of Ariella’s Escape, but that did not affect my review.

Did the book deliver steamy romance? Yes.
A big BUT to the rest of the book. In order to push this to the next level, I needed more explanation and world building. You read until the horse jumps on a magic crystal power over a wall and you go: "What?!" and "How?!"
The same goes for suddenly appearing elf lords and magical creatures.
It was okay and it definitely has potential, but it feels like it needs more work.

During the night the king of the castle is killed and his son takes over. When Arielle and Demetrius are forced to flee for their lives. Can they survive to make it home? Read to find out!

I read this book as an arc from NetGalley
