Being a romance novel reader and fan of may many years, I knew exactly what to expect when I started reading a novel by Melissa Foster. That perfect blend of sweetness mixed with a scorching passion and the satisfaction of reading a novel that leaves you happy and fulfilled. Melissa Foster never fails to deliver and “Call Her Mine” is another winner.

Aurelia Stark has held a torch for her Henry Cavill look alike best friend Ben Dalton for as long as she can remember. She is sick and tired of Ben seeing her as only his friend and nothing more. She has just about given up on him and moved to Harmony Pointe to start a new chapter in her life when a baby left on Ben’s front porch turns both their lives upside down and provides them with the push that they need to finally make their dreams come true.

Aurelia is the only woman for Ben. He has been having one night stands with random women who look completely different from her in the hopes that he may be able to tame his x-rated feelings and fantasies of her. But it seems like his promiscuity may end up coming back to bite him in the ass when Aurelia and he find a beautiful baby girl on his front porch with a letter that claims she is his. Unbeknownst to Aurelia and Ben the little cutie is the best thing to happen to Ben and Aurelia and their budding relationship.

A beautiful romance that is like a breath of fresh air. So many great secondary characters and love stories. Can’t wait to read more from this great series!!!

A fun, sexy - even steamy - book that is incredibly unbelievable, but it seems that didn't matter. Friends to lovers trope combined with the single dad trope are usually fun to read, but this one combined with the hot, intelligent billionaire trope made it just too silly of a story line. Fun and light, but definitely not a read for those paying attention to details.

Ms. Foster always writes the best friends to lovers with a twist. Of course the twist with these friends turned lovers is learning how to parent while falling in love. I enjoyed the growth of these characters so much, not just as a couple but individually as well. I love that even though this us a new series we get to see characters from other Foster books. I'm excited to see where this series will go!

Call Her mine is the first in a new series taking place in Harmony Pointe. This is Ben and Aurelia's story. If you love friends to lovers stories, then you will love this one. Ben and Aurelia's history made for great banter, especially when the baby showed up. I loved them together. Ben's melting over "B" was so adorable. But the truth of who "B"'s mother was so heartbreaking. I'll admit to tearing up a bit. The rest of the characters were fun, especially Ben's family. My favorite was Aurelia's grandmother. I definitely recommend this one. I also look forward to more romance in Harmony Pointe!

This book is a complete standalone. Like the rest of this author’s books there are interconnected characters within a series and sometimes across different series. If you’ve read the Sugar Lake series you’ve met the two main characters before as well as the side characters. You do not need to have read the other books to enjoy this book.

If you like friends-to-lovers/surprise baby/single dad tropes then this book is definitely for you. This book is funny, sweet, and heart warming. Much of the book is about how Ben and Aurelia handle the baby that has been dropped on Ben’s doorstep. Once they become a couple, there is little focus on their relationship. I loved their progression in becoming parents, but I do wish there was a little more on them as a couple. There were pieces of the story that I did want more of and a few small questions I felt were unanswered. Overall this is a good book to start this series. If you like this author then you will definitely like this book.

CALL HER MINE is the first instalment in Melissa Foster’s contemporary, adult HARMONY POINTE erotic, romance series-a spin off from the author’s Sugar Lake series. This is book store owner Aurelia Stark, and billionaire businessman Ben Dalton’s story line.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Aurelia and Ben) CALL HER MINE follows the best friends to lovers/ secret baby trope between book store owner Aurelia Stark, and billionaire businessman Ben Dalton. Ben Dalton and Aurelia Stark have been best friends for a number of years but best friends who have secretly lusted after one another without ever taking the next step towards something more. When Ben finds an abandoned baby on his door step, Aurelia steps up to help Ben but finds herself caught between head and heart believing she will always be friend zoned by the man that she loves. What ensues is the quick building romance between Ben and Aurelia, and the potential fall-out as Aurelia struggles with her place in Ben’s life including the possibility of losing her heart to a child, not her own.

Ben Dalton desperately wants a more than a friendly relationship with Aurelia Stark but our hero has a bit of a colored past that is about to send his well-ordered life spiralling out of control. Having no idea as the identity of the child’s mother, Aurelia and Ben begin to search through Ben’s recent past in the hope of uncovering the truth. Aurelia Stark wanted to start fresh and opening her own book store in Harmony Pointe was the first step in starting over but moving away meant pushing herself further from the man that she loved. A surprise baby gave Aurelia the opportunity to spend more time with Ben Dalton but our heroine is overwhelmed by the responsibility of caring for a child, and the possibility of losing is all should Ben opt for single parenthood.

The relationship between Ben and Aurelia is one of friends to lovers, friends who have been afraid to admit their feelings, and their emotional ties to one another. Aurelia believes she has been friend zoned by the man that she loves, and Ben believes Aurelia’s fresh start is the first step in moving away from their current relationship. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including Aurelia’s grandmother Flossie; best friend Everly Love; as well as Ben’s large extended family: his parents Roxie and Dan Dalton; Ben’s four sisters Willow (Zane), Bridgette (Bodhi), Piper and Talia ; actress Remi Divine; Ben’s business partner Aidan Aldridge; construction project manager Kase Force.

CALL HER MINE is an animated story of friendship, family, surprises and love. The premise is engaging and entertaining ; the romance is flirty and spicy; the characters are sassy, strong and spirited. CALL HER MINE is a captivating and energetic look at growing up and taking responsibility when needed the most.

This was my first Melissa Foster book and I can honestly say I was quite pleased. As soon as I read the blurb and a baby was mentioned I was automatically hooked. If you know me, then you know I love books with babies in the story. I’m also a sucker for the friends-to-lovers trope and this one had just that as well. I was thoroughly entertained right from the beginning and really enjoyed this book.

Aurelia and Ben captured my heart. I just loved their friendship. I laughed, I smiled and most definitely swooned. I couldn’t get enough these two, and then add baby B to the mix and I just couldn’t handle myself, feelings overload.

Ben and Aurelia’s friendship was put to the test when a baby is left on Ben’s doorstep. But it not only strengthened their friendship, but it also brought them closer together in a way they could only dream of. Having them learn along the way how to care for a baby and leaning on the other for support, only made their bond that much stronger. And oh my gosh, Ben as a dad is everything. He’s so protective, loving and caring and it’s just the best.

Call Her Mine was a great friends-to-lovers romance. With enjoyable characters and secondary characters that were just as great. And with a precious and sweet baby that stole the show. Ben, Aurelia and baby B made the prefect little family. It’s no surprise that I’ll definitely be reading more of this author.

Aurelia has been in love with Ben forever, but he is her best friend. Not just her best friend, he is also a serial dater and not looking to settle down. That is until a little baby girl is dropped outside of his house with a note saying that he is the daddy... talk about life changer. Aurelia as his best friend obviously steps up to help out, what if she finds out that there might be more between them then just friends?

This book is absolutely adorable with some major sexual tension! It was an enjoyable read and kept a nice pace-absolutely a 4.5 outta 5 from me! If those types of books are your jam, I highly recommend checking it out. I am not going to give away any spoilers, but know that this book will definitely have moments that speak to your heart and others that are super steamy!!

Thank you to Melissa Foster and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own *

This is the story of Ben Dalton, who has been in love with his best friend Aurelia Stark , forever and he finally decides that he is going to make his move.
Aurelia has moved to the town of Harmony Pointe where she has opened a bookstore and a great apartment and has decided its time to break away from her best friend who she has been in love with forever and start a new life and move on.
But when a baby is left on Ben’s doorstep, Aurelia is there for him. Both are newbies to looking after a baby and it sets them on a path of love laughter and possibly that happily ever after.
Another great story by Melissa Foster and look forward to her next instalment.

A fresh take on the best friends to lovers trope, “Call Her Mine” turned out to be a comedy-drama instead of just being a rom-com.

Don’t get me wrong, there are lots of laugh out loud funny moments. After all, Ben and Aurelia, the protagonists in the story, have known each other since they were very young. And they are best friends after all. They know each other inside out. Except the fact that they have been pining for each other long before they reached adulthood.

“Call Her Mine” begins with Ben and Aurelia find a baby at Ben’s doorsteps. But, before that, Aurelia had decided to give up the torch she had been holding for Ben. That plan went out the window the moment they saw the beautiful baby girl and the note that Ben was the father.

After a momentary panic, Ben and Aurelia reverted to their true selves, i.e., they function best as a team. And the baby also precipitated what Ben had been planning all along – tell Aurelia how he really felt.

These two big changes in their relationship – a baby and the change from friends to lovers status – are actually the crux of “Call Her Mine.” Being single and only responsible for themselves, being a threesome proved to be more than just troublesome for Ben and Aurelia.

Telling the story on how these two old friends/new lovers traversed that change while keeping the audience interested was the challenge that author Melissa Foster faced with “Call Her Mine.” And she did it with flying colors!

The pacing was fast, but not too fast that the book lost focus. It was slowed down at the right moments so that the readers can catch up on how Ben and Aurelia were faring as a couple and as an instant family.

Melissa Foster also kept the storyline lighthearted even when conflict the presented and its resolution revealed.

An easy read that will make you smile and even laugh at times, “Call Her Mine” is Rated T for Teens. Parental guidance is strongly advised.

Hmmm
3 stars

Melissa Foster is an author I see so much of and I really want to like her books as they always sound so fun and enticing. And indeed her writing is exceptional and really draws you into her stories…but this story, along with others of hers I’ve read, just didn't hit the mark for me.

For the first chapter or so, I was SO excited. I do so love a best friends to lovers romance, especially one where both friends are in love with the other but neither is able to admit it. The relationship and love between Ben and Aurelia is evident from the very first page and I fell in love immediately. It’s that familiarity and banter - along with those little indicators of something deeper - that really hits you square in the feels.

Once you add in the baby, Bea, then your heart is just mush. Seeing the way that Ben cares for and protects the baby is just the stuff that dreams are made of and I fully admit to full-on swooning right alongside Aurelia. These three characters just came alive on the page.

And that was just the first few chapters - which was actually one of my issues with the book. Suddenly, at 28%, came the big dramatic spilling of the feelings - which I’m not going to lie, was also hella swoon worthy - and Ben and Aurelia were a couple from then on in. Huh - I thought the main point of the book was the romance but that was pretty much wrapped up fairly early on. Oh sure we had the first time they had sex and a few issues surrounding Bea, but coupledom was not the main focus of this book.

The main story was about finding out about Bea and understanding the new normal with her in their lives. Some of their issues at the beginning were downright hilarious and I laughed out loud on many an occasion. With that said, the conclusion to that story was heartbreakingly convenient and it added an uncomfortable feeling as we then were celebrating Ben and Aurelia and their new life together.

This is book one in the Harmony Pointe series but it clearly is linked to another series (perhaps even a few). If you've never read Melissa Foster before, or the particular series this links to (Love in Bloom, by all accounts), you’ll be hopelessly lost in terms of the characters and how they’re related. They pop up so often that at times it felt it was more about them than it was Ben and Aurelia. However, if you’re a fan of the author or series you’ll be in absolute heaven catching up with old friends and family.

I wasn’t overwhelmed by this book but that’s not to say I wouldn’t recommend it to fans of Ms Foster or those who’ve read and enjoyed her before. But just 3 stars from me.

A fabulous start to this new series from Melissa Foster. I laughed, I cried and loved every single minute of Ben and Aurelia story.

Ben and Aurelia have been in love with each other from afar, forever. They have have always been there for each other no matter what so when Ben discovers a baby has been left on his doorstep with a letter claiming this tiny little girl is his of course Aurelia is there to help. As they work together to look after this little princess will they finally show each other just what the other means to them?

A beautifully written story and I look forward to more from Harmony Point the future.

Call Her Mine is the first book in a new spin-off series Harmony Pointe from Melissa Foster. You will recognize some of the characters from the neighboring Sugar Lake series. This story centers around a billionaire venture capitalist and his book store owning best friend in a delectable friends to lovers/ surprise baby shake up.

Apparent unrequited love sets the scene as Aurelia moved a town over to get away from fawning over the man whom she adores but can’t have. The passion she has for opening this new book store is music to a readers ears as details are swirling around us. Life as she knew it is over!

Unbeknownst to her, Ben has been equally in love with her and just biding his time for the perfect opportunity to finally make his move. Her desertion of their routine threw him a curve ball, but the arrival of an unknown baby just might be the end of it all.

I highly recommend this story for anyone who enjoys a close knit group of family and friends in a steamy, small town romance sort of feel. Melissa Foster is the queen of wrapping characters around your heart! Just when I thought we were heading towards that happily ever after with no clouds in sight, she gutted me then beautifully put me back together again. Such an emotional journey!

Call Her Mine is new friends to lovers with surprise baby twist from author Melissa Foster. This book was my first by Melissa. While it’s not mandatory to read Sugar Lake series to know what is going on, I did feel like it might have helped my reading experience. I wasn’t as invested in the characters as I might have been if I have read the other series first. The friends to lovers with surprise baby storyline is great, but it dragged on a little for me in places. If you are a fan of Melissa Fosters Sugar Lake series, then I think you will love this book.

Welcome to Harmony Pointe, where everybody knows everybody and where a new life will begin for Aurelia Stark. At least this is what she hopes will happen after being her best friend Ben Dalton forever. Tired of waiting for his move she is ready to start something new on her own even if it means yikes dating again. The thing is that all is not it seems and now Ben is the one well ready. These two have been friends forever and every time he is ready to make his move fate steps in. Her moving out was at the top of his list of worry but now someone has gotten him from being a bachelor to a daddy. I loved how Melissa Foster did this bringing them together yet in a way they still seem distant. Seeing always in control Ben loosing his composure and trying to seduce Aurelia at the same time was beautiful in this book. It is always nice to see a sexy guy losing control of things he thought was easy. Sure the friendship is still there but now there is much more like a love they have been waiting for. Have to say seeing them running around like a chicken without its head was hillarious and baby B so cute in every way. This is the first book in this little town and cannot wait to see who is next by Melissa Foster.

"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."

This book was just good but not great. It was cute and sweet but while the beginning and end were great, the middle part of the book was very boring and repetitive. I could skip over entire pages and not miss a step. For those reasons I'm giving three chilli peppers of hotness.
