This was a friends to lovers romance with a little bundle of chaos thrown in. Ben and Aurelia are best friends who each are harboring feelings for each other. I am glad the author didn't drag out the part where each character was scared to tell the other what they felt. You get to go on a wild ride when a surprise visitor is at the door. I enjoyed when the sisters found out and helped. I loved how they gave Ben a hard time. This book has sweetness and a couple who has some road blocks to work through. This was a great read with great characters.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I loved it! It was a fun book to read (even with the seriousness of the baby being dropped off) and I couldn't read it fast enough!
Aurelia and Ben are such a cute couple and I loved how they handled the surprise delivery which finally brought them together.
I also enjoyed the interaction with Ben's family and Aurelia's friend & Grandmother.
I am going to have to add the series about Ben's family to my tbr list!!
I am not a fan of books written by a third person, so it did take me a while to get used to. Aside from this though it was a great book and I hope you love it as much as I did!!

I was given an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest and independent review.
One of my favourite contemporary authors has managed to write another cracker.
Romantic, fun. cute and sexy with familiar characters and some new faces. The perfect summer read.
4.5****

I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher with the understanding that I would provide an honest review of the book after reading it.

I have read many books by Melissa Foster and this book is a spin-off of the Sugar Lake series. Willow, Zane, Piper, Bodhi, and the rest of the family appear in this story. You can read this as a stand-alone book.

Aurelia and Ben’s story had its ups and downs, surprises, laughs, heart-melts and heartbreaks. This is a friends-to-lovers story with a surprise baby that turns things upside down! Ben learns what’s important in life and takes immediate action to care for the two lucky ladies in his life.

Read more about how A+B=B! You won’t be disappointed!

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

While you can read this as a stand alone, you can tell that there were previous books about the other couples and this family.

This book really fell flat for me as I just could not get over the fact that Ben used sex with other women to "get through" a night when Aurelia had a date - because what else would she be doing but having sex on her first date.

It was also hard to relate when Ben feels like she has rejected his advances and she perceives his "hints" as a joke - this was just too immature for adults their age.

Most of the book was their bonding to his surprise daughter (sorry for the spoiler but it is his baby) and their fear that the birth mother will reappear and take Bea back after they have come to love her.

Parts were funny as they had no clue on taking care of a baby but most was filled with angst of losing Bea. Finally started skimming the final chapters until Caroline appeared and it got a little more interesting after that.
And the epilogue was kind of hilarious and probably the best part of the whole book.

Call Her Mine is the first book in Melissa Foster's new Harmony Pointe series. It's not a break from her previous books - most of the characters are familiar frineds but even if you haven't read her other books you won't be confused.
This is a friends to lovers story with a twist. Ben and Aurelia have had a great friendship forever but nothing else. Aurelia is ready for a change and moves to Harmony Pointe for a fresh start. She's tired of waiting for something to happen and then it does.
After another night of watching movies and "sleeping" together with nothing but sleep going on they open the door to find a basket on Ben's doorstep. When they open the basket there's a baby girl inside and a note saying she was Ben's - oops.
Rather that tear Aurelai and BEn apart, it seems to draw them together as they both fall in love with this tiny little girl. They join together to figure out what the next steps are and if Ben is the father will he be raising this little bundle of joy alone.
At the last minute, they finally uncover the mystery of the baby's mother and how she will fit into their newly formed family.
Melissa Foster does an amazing job with writing strong, smart characters and keeps the story interesting and fun.
I received an advanced copy of this book.

This was a beautiful surprise baby, friends to lovers book. Aurelia is moving on with her life even though she's still in love with her best friend Ben. Until one morning a baby appears! Through managing how to take care of new baby, and navigate the hows, why's and who's Ben finally confesses his love for Aurelia. There's a lot going on, but these two move through this whirlwind with such grace, it makes the book such a joy to read.

I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Ben and Aurelia are best friends who have feelings for each other. Neither has ever told the other about their feelings and something always comes between them. However, when they find a baby on Ben's doorstep - with a note that says that Ben is the dad! - they are faced with a challenge neither could have expected.
I love the secret baby thrope. There is something fun about the pressure people are put under when there is a baby involved and not every author can handle it realistically. I think Foster had handled it quite well, they had struggles and didn't really know how to deal with the baby because neither had any experience. Luckily they had a support system who helped them and gave advice. The situation with the babys mom was surprising and not the usual villain/careless woman trope authors irritatingly tend to use.
The relationship between the h and H was very convenient and there was not much conflict - some might like it but some may want some more struggles as it would have been more realistic.

Overall, I think people who enjoy light contemporary romance will enjoy this one too.

I recieved a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Call Her Mine by Melissa Foster is a thoroughly charming romance that has the perfect amount of heat between Ben and Aurelia to keep the pages turning at a rapid pace...I couldn’t put the book down once I started reading this couple’s story. I look forward to what is in store next for this cast of characters.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Call Her Mine is an entertaining, easy read. It’s a heartwarming friends to lovers story, as well as the surprise baby troupe (not my favorite theme, but I do like a good friends to lovers story and this fit that nicely). As usual with Melissa Foster, this book had plenty of emotion, laughter, tears, and, of course, love. I look forward to return visits to Harmony Pointe.

I’ve read numerous Melissa Foster books now and I love her writing style. It’s light and fun and a very easy fast read.

I had read all the others in her various series so knew the characters and a rough background but I enjoyed the boy is in love with girl and girl is in love with girl but everyone but them knows it.

Lovely read would recommend to anyone.

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends forever but they have no idea that they both want more. Afraid to mess up their friendship they keep their romantic feelings to themselves. Everything changes when a baby is left on Ben's doorstep. Cute friends to lovers -- and parents romance.

I like Ms. Foster's stories, but everything seems to just happen. Other than the push-pull at the beginning of the book, there was very little conflict.

However, I enjoyed the story.

I've read a few of this author's books and I've enjoyed the books that I've read from her, so I was looking forward to reading more from her! I know that she has lots of other books released, but I received an email from the publisher about this book and the synopsis sounded intriguing, so I decided to give it a read! After reading this book, I can say that it took me a few chapters to get into, but I found myself enjoying it more as it developed! The plot did develop at a nice pace and there was a lot of romance in it, which allowed for quite a few seriously hot scenes! I also loved the addition of the characters learning how to be parents because there were some funny scenes and some sad scenes! I also wasn't expecting to cry at the plot, but I did near the end because there were some very emotional scenes! The ending of this book also wasn't fully wrapped up, but I hope the characters story will continue in the next book! The characters were great and made this book better! Aurelia was the main female character, and in this book she had a new business and was looking forward to seeing how it would go! I liked Aurelia a lot in this book! She was there to support her love interest and help him with his new baby, even though she didn't necessarily have to! I loved the way that Aurelia was with her love interest too! She had always had feelings for him, but had never acted on them! Ben was the main male character and love interest of Aurelia! Ben got quite a shock in this book when a baby was left at his front door lol! Ben didn't have any experience with kids, so it was funny watching him learn how to be a father and balance a child with his demanding job! I felt like Ben took on the role of a father very well and he would do anything to protect his daughter! It was also easy to see how he felt about Aurelia and they worked well together! I loved that this book was written from both Aurelia and Ben's point of views! I wasn't sure if it was going to be before I started reading, but I'm really happy that it was! It allowed for more things to happen in the plot, especially as both characters didn't spend every second of the plot together and were dealing with their own situations! It helped me connect more with Aurelia and Ben too and see how they really felt for each other! This book was also written in third person, which I normally don't like, but I liked this book being written this way! I now can't wait to read the next book in this series! I'm excited about who the main characters are going to be and the synopsis has me very intrigued to read it, so I can't wait for it to release I know that the next book releases at the beginning of December, which isn't that long of a wait! I'll definitely be grabbing a copy of it once it releases and I look forward to giving it a read! The cover for this book is also absolutely perfect for it and would draw me to the book! ! I love it a lot and it definitely suits the feel of the book! The cover model is also the perfect Ben too!

Welcome back to the Dalton family. I enjoyed yet another sweet tale from the family witj a heart of gold. I laugh, I cried, I could have died...of laughter and joy at the closing scene. Foster fans will cheer!

I probably can't adequately put into words how much I loved this book. I loved Ben and Aurelia - friends for years and the way the romance evolved was so well done. What I love most about this book is the way they figure out how to care for Baby B together and work together to take care of the baby and take care of themselves and their newfound romance. No silly misunderstandings, just real talk. Loved how their families interact and added warmth and humor as well.

The ending is poignant and I cried. I fully admit the book made me cry. I can't imagine any parent reading this and not getting a little emotional at the end.

I highly recommend this book - Foster does such a tremendous job of making her readers vested in her characters. I can't wait for more from this series.

Many thanks to the publisher for a review copy via NetGalley.
