I love a surprise baby romance and Fast by Gillian Archer is that! The conflict is less between the main couple and more outside forces as they learn to be a family.

This was Better then I expected and I love the cover so much and the parts where we see the baby are my favorite and the fact that it had MC romance made it all better

FAST by Gillian Archer is a fast paced story with lots of action!
The way the story was written made me feel as though I was there. I really liked the chemistry between the Burns brothers and look forward to the next book!

Ryan and Hope meet and there are instant flames. When one night of fun turns into a life time of commitment, Ryan and Hope have some very hard decisions to make. Can Ryan and Hope make it through all of their family drama or will their family tear them apart? Read and find out!

Overall this book was good. It does not end how I thought it would. I can honestly say that I was completely surprised! Good book, literally cant wait for what is next!

Thank you NetGalley for the digital ARC of this wonderful book. I love this author and will read anything she writes. I had the feeling while reading that i missed some back story and apparently there is another book I didn't know about. Which is fine, nothing was lost without it. I still loved the story. I love a good girl gets the bad boy romance and this one did not disappoint. a must read for any MC book reader.

This book was good but there was some weird drama. I had high hopes but everything that happened with hopes father was weird drama. I would read another book by this author but I just think this one I just didn't love.

So I loved the first book of this story and was then a little bit disappointed with this one. After one-nightstand Hope is pregnant with Rayan. Rayan is very supportive and he tries to start a real relationship with Hope. The one problem that lingers is that Hope is the daughter vom local MC. I didn't feel the story, there was so little interesting happening. A little bit of romance, a repetitive of the past from both Hope and Rayan. What it was good to see was how Rayan changes from aggressive young man to someone more responsible, stable. From my side, there were a little bit of WTF moments like the reason why Hope doesn't take the pill morning after, some of her pregnancy thing, and especially I didn't understand the way father of Hope reacted. I hope that the third book will be another great one.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

While I have read the True Brothers series, somehow I missed BUILD, the first in the Burns Brothers Series, however, there was enough back story to follow this book easily. The Burns Brothers mere raised by their aunt after their father murdered their mother. However, many years later, their father is paroled. The brothers have a motorcycle building and repair business, Badass Builds, begun by the oldest brother, Austin, to support the family. They also have their own reality tv series. Ryan is brother number three. He first spots Hope at the West Coast Kings MC Club, hanging with the President and their client T-Bone. She is star struck. Three months later they meet again. A one night stand is on Hope's bucket list, but she hadn't realized how nice Ryan is. Despite a broken condom, he would like to explore a relationship, but miscommunications almost doom them.

Appealing characters, interesting dysfunctional family dynamics and snappy dialogue make this an entertaining read. I received a free ARC from NetGalley.com. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

The second book in the series has the brother who likes to love them and leave them. Falling for the daughter of the motor cycle club president that the brothers just did the bike rebuild for. Hope really does not know who her father is because she has just met him after 20 some odd after finding a picture of him. He is not turning out what she was expecting. Ryan has fallen for Hope before she was pregnant and now wants to be together. The problem is forces are working at tearing them apart. One is his younger brother who wants to help their father who has just paroled, but Ryan does not. This comes back to harm Ryan in the book. Their father is not nice and it drives me crazy that the younger brother continues to want to help him after everything he has done. Ryan and Hope are put to the test and this story is very emotional at times. It is also a very good book with good characters as well. I found this to be a very good read.

Following up on “Build,” the first book in the Burns Brothers series, the author brings us Ryan Burns, whom his brothers treat as an irresponsible man-child who finds trouble where he can. Trouble now is packaged in the form of Hope, the daughter of the President of an MC for whom the brothers do a lot of work. Ryan doesn’t know until he’s in deeper who Hope is and the potential implications for that. Add to that the nasty piece of work who is the brothers’ father being paroled. Because Dylan remembers less about their parents, he tries to see his father as rehabilitated, which creates a strain with all his brothers but especially with Ryan, to whom he is closest. Betrayal leads to a near death beating for Ryan but results in the end of Hope beginning to heal her relationship with her mother and stepfather, confronting her father, and healing Hope’s and Ryan’s relationship. The epilogue is so sweet!

Fast by Gillian Archer is the second book in the Burns Brother world. I did not read the first book, but this book can be read as a stand alone.

Family means everything to this tattooed bad boy--good thing since he's about to start his own. I wanted her the first time I laid eyes on her. But what starts as a fun time, quickly gets serious when the stick turns pink a month later. My life is already chaos with my recently paroled father popping up and the usual drama at the family business building custom motorcycles. Plus our reality show just got picked up for a full season. But it really hits the fan when I discover that the new woman in my life is the daughter of the President of the West Coast Kings, the baddest motorcycle club in Sacramento--and our biggest client. Think he'll like being called Grandpa? Life just got hella complicated.

Fast is a contemporary romance that deals with some hard issues, but felt sweet and heartwarming. Ryan is an alphamallow- all hard edges and tattoos on the outside but a softy at his core. On the surface Hope is sweetness and confidence, but she has a core of steel. The compassion and care for others is something they shared, and something I loved to see expressed by each of them so differently. They each have huge father and family issues, but I loved the way they found comfort together and worked things out. The surprise baby was done very well- I liked how honest and realistic the complications of that were handled. The switching perspectives helped keep track of the worries and fears they each had, and the circumstances that made things more complicated. The heat is on high, but so is the danger and the sweet. I liked how well balanced the different elements were, and there were a few times that characters surprised me and took an unexpected path. I was never bored, and am looking forward to going back to read the first book and continuing to follow this series.

Fast has a nearly perfect balance of danger, sweet, and heat. It is a must read for fans of the author.

This was a nice spin on the motorcycle club trope. It's not really a MC book, it's more about the people on the fringe of a "one percent-er" club (i.e. 99% of motorcycle enthusiasts are law-abiding citizens, and this motorcycle club is in the 1% that aren't ).

Hope, the club president's daughter, is a bit of a goofy fangirl. She has the hots for Ryan, who has a reality tv show building motorcycles.

He looked like a guy who wore his heart on his sleeve but didn't mind beating the crap outta anyone who made fun of him for it.

Ryan is actually kind of a marshmallow. I don't know where she get's the impression that he'd beat the crap out of anyone.

"It's hard to be the one reaching out. Once you've been slapped down a time or two, you stop reaching.

Ryan and Hope are so sugary sweet together. I loved it.
I did wish we got more insight into Hope's relationship with her dad. She claimed he was such a nice guy at first, but we never got to see that in the book.

Overall, I really enjoyed this. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Ryan's brother Dylan, who I hope will be getting his own book.

This story was really fun! Hope and Ryan are so funny and relatable, everything they did or said didn't make me eye-rolling, not once. The others, unfortunately, yes. Their anger evaporated too quickly to let me take them seriously. I love the dark side of this book, like watching the son of One tree hill and Sons of anarchy!
The writing style is really fluid and easy going, even during difficult scenes.
Maybe the resolution was a bit quicker than expected, but I think Gillian Archer is trying to have a subplot running throughout the next books. I assume there will be other books. I hope!

Something is wrong with my book-stars these days. I can’t seem to find a book for which I can truly sing some songs of praises. This will be a short review as I really don’t have much to say about this book.

Hope is the daughter of West Coast Kings MC President. She is star-struck when she sees Ryan for the first time. Their chords get aligned and soon Hope sees a positive pink on the Pregnancy test after a one night stand. Ryan is a supportive guy, which I did not expect out of someone from a motorcycle building business. They both get freaked out at the good news but support each other with the pregnancy.

Everything went on at a nice smooth pace with no excitement whatsoever, just like your everyday routine life. And routine is not something to be thrilled about. Even the ups and downs in this romantic ride went on like nice little bumps in the road. So, we were left with those nice family moments, some rough childhood stories and a lovey-dovey happy ending.

It failed to stir even a drop of excitement in my ocean of boredom. Everything was just nice. This book obviously didn’t work out for me.

A clever, fast paced story of family drama, emotions, sexy times and delicious romance. I enjoyed its so much, I immediately read it a second time. Hits all the right spots. Happy reading!!

This book felt like it bounced around a lot. And I never really understood the deal with her father.

It was an enjoyable story. Both characters had to grow a bit and learn about each other. I'm guessing all the brothers will get their own story - since Austin already had a book.

4 star! Nice HEA MC story with easy to fall for characters. Not a dark MC story other than a couple dark incidents. Definitely worth reading. Looking forward to the other siblings’ stories.

I don’t request many ARCs anymore and it’s even rarer for me to put my hand up for one from a new to me author. But, I’ve heard so much good stuff about Gillian Archer that it caught my attention. Plus, it had a biker and an unexpected baby so I just couldn’t pass it up. Thank goodness my gamble paid off as I ended up enjoying reading it.

There were a couple elements of the book that could have spelled disaster for me. I tend to avoid new adult books and this couple was firmly in that category. I ended up getting caught up in their reactions both to each other and the fact that they got pregnant. As young as they were, nothing was glossed over when it came to their situation and I loved it. How they stumbled and stammered their way through their predicament brought out all the feels for me.

To say their families were dysfunctional is an understatement, especially Ryan’s. Half the time you didn’t know if he was going to hug it out or slug it out with his brothers. His determination to do the right thing had my heart going all pitter patter and oohing and awing over just how freaking adorable he was. And Hope was perfect for him.

As for Hope, she was naïve and completely out of her element when it came to her father. I think an opportunity was missed by not giving us some of the beginning where she found her dad so we could understand how she ended up in the situation she found herself in. As much as I liked her, and I really did, I just had a hard time figuring out how a girl who seemed to have such a good head on her shoulders got roped into that whole mess.

Despite that, I was thoroughly enjoying the story, the characters and the plot but when we hit the big finale we’d slowly been lead up to, things fell a bit flat for me. View Spoiler »

That one last section knocked my rating from a five star read to a four star one. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed almost everything about this book, including the side characters and I can’t wait to read more about Ryan and his brothers. .

Rating: 4 Stars

I recommend Fast by Gillian Archer. It's well written with great characters and she doesn't sugar coat the biker life. In fact, she portrays the harsh, misogynistic environment well. She's able to create a wonderful man by making him "biker adjacent". His job working with his brothers at their custom motorcycle shop brings him into frequent contact with the West Coast Kings and the president's daughter but Ryan is not like his clients. Hope wasn't raised by her biker father and is only now learning how bad he and his club are.

Hope's a fan of Ryan's from the reality show he's been on. She has to take her chance to introduce herself to him. These two's chemistry is off the charts. From their first encounter to their happily ever after, it's hot, hot, hot. Through in an unexpected baby, scary no good father (on both sides) and lots of external strife and the book is a good page turner.

I enjoyed these two together immensely. They're both so good to each other. They have a lot to work through, a lot to learn about pregnancy and parenting but all the love necessary to build a good life.

Fast is the second book in the Burns Brothers series by Gillian Archer. It can be read as stand-alone though so don't hesitate to one-click it!

I got mislead from the cover and I thought that Ryan and Hope would have a baby that was actually born before their main story began, but the events of the story are happening from the time these two met then when Hope finds out that she is pregnant and we see her pregnancy and how her and Ryan's relationship is evolving. I was a little surprised about that at first, but I accepted it as we were moving forward with the story.

A certain thought popped in my mind many times while reading the story. Wanna know what it was? If Ryan and Hope could stop reading some situations so badly, they would have gotten their happy end so much easier. For example, Hope sends a message to Ryan that he should stay away from her family and he thought that she also meant her (it happens very early in the book which is why I don't consider it a spoiler), which made him back off and not pursue her.

Hope and Ryan had a beautiful relationship. Both of them though the world of the other and they made me feel like they would cherish each other. One of the best points of the book was their relationship.

Nathan was a douche for most of the book which made me wonder if he could be book boyfriend material, but after some point, he redeemed himself and I loved him. The Burns family is filled with hard-headed, stubborn and rude men. I was wondering how I managed to read Austin's book considering everything he did in this novel. Their cousin Sabrina is the most level headed and I can't wait for her story, which is probably going to be in the next book since we were kinda teased about it in the epilogue of this book.
