Gillian Archer knows how to write a MC romance! And even though the Burns brothers aren’t MC members, they are still closely associated with the world of bikers- they build high end custom bikes and they also are stars of their own reality show. With 4 tattooed and rugged brothers and a sister, I am anticipating many hot stories to come in this steamy series ;)

“Fast” is the second book of the series and stars Ryan Burns. Even though I didn’t have to chance to read the previous book, I had no problem catching up and enjoyed the book.

Having their father kill their mother when they were just kids, the Burns have had a tough childhood. Now Ryan is also trying to deal with his anger issues and doesn’t want to have even a slight resemblance to his father. It seems like he’s found a woman who is capable of keeping his demons at bay. And although the logical thing would have been to give their relationship some time, it seems like a condom mishap has fast forwarded their relationship. But there is a slight glitch to their happily ever after as Hope’s father is the ruthless president of the West Coast Kings and he’s not at all happy with this budding romance.

A enjoyable read that you won’t
Be able to put down. Judging by the end of the book, I’m guessing that the next book will be about Sabrina. Can’t wait!!!

Loved the chemistry between Ryan and Hope! Family is everything to Ryan no matter how dysfunctional it is. So when hope ends up pregnant after a one night stand. He can’t be happier! The biggest problem is Hopes father, President of West Coast Kings MC.

Ryan was part of the Burns Brothers and had Badass Build and made motorcycles. Their best customers was the West Coast Kings MC. Ryan had first seen hop at the unveiling of the bike they had made for Tbone who was the president of the MC three months ago. Ryan didn’t know that was her father. Than he seen Hope again when they revealed the new bike to the VP of the Kings-Hawk. Hope came over to talk to Ryan when he was outside and said her name was Hope and than when he asked what they had been talking about before she turned to leave. He touched her shoulder and a zing went up his arm. She was interested and so was ryan. Than Dylan-his younger brother- where they were and that she had been with Tbone. Last time he had seen her. She said she was two blocks away from her apartment but this was a really bad neighborhood. Hope said the apartment was close to her work. They were outside and ryan kissed her but when a motorcycle started up she sprang away from him like a woman who didn’t want to get caught. Than Hope said Tbone wasn’t her boyfriend but her father. She had just found out he wasn’t dead after all six years ago. Hope had a crush on Ryan since she’d seen him on tv. Ryan’s father had just been paroled out of prison for killing his mother, that had been on tv also. Hope was attracted to Ryan because he looked vulnerable and badass at the same time. He looked like a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve but didn’t mind beating the crap out of anyone who made fun of him for it. She wanted to soothe him and have sex with him at the same time. Hope had never had a one night stand before, she only had sex with boyfriends after they got to know each other. Hope made Ryan feel things she had never felt before, emotions and sensations. Hope was dangerous and she didn’t even know it. The burns Brothers weren’t built for happily ever after and white picket fences. We were so damaged we screwed up everyone and everything we came into contact with. Hell it was practically Ryan’s brand. Ryan didn’t do relationships. He hadn’t since HS and that worked for him.
I loved this book. It wasn’t really about an MC but one was involved and the President wasn’t a good man. I loved Ryan and Hope together and how they interacted. Also how Hope and Ryan grew throughout this book. I loved Ryan and his family’s closeness especially his Aunt and cousin Sabrina. I don’t understand why his brother Dylan was so determined to be close to his father who was a bad man and hurt his and Ryan’s relationship. I loved the pace and plot. I read this in one setting as I couldn't put it down . I lost some sleep but a great book is worth it. I love how Ryan treated Hope. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

If you haven't figured it out already this is definitely an adult story. The language was filled with a whole lot of "F's" which I didn't really enjoy all that much. So I had to skim over that as best as I could. Yes, I guess I should have expected some of that but still...
Both Hope and Ryan each share their P.O.V.'s which was good. However, maybe I am too old for this story. Because Hope's naivety was so strong that it almost made my back teeth ache. She's a nice enough girl with a few problems before this deal of getting pregnant. I did begin to like her better although it didn't feel like her character ever really got that deep.
Hope and Ryan also had their moments of being awkward with each other. Let's face it they were attracted to each other but didn't really know each other either.
Ryan was a whole lot more interesting person. Even with some of his wild ways he was a whole lot mature than Hope. Of course seeing how he grew up, he had to grow up fast. It was good to see that his Aunt Wendy and his oldest brother was there to hep him when he was young. There is a lot of friction between his brother and himself though and Ryan was tired of being seen as the screw up.
Yes, daddy dearest is one huge problem looking for a place to explode. Ryan sees that crystal clear but his youngest brother Dylan is getting pulled in. Both Ryan and Dylan were too young to remember their father but Ryan knew enough about people to get his dad's number.
The secondary people in the story are good ones and that includes both Hope and Ryan's families.
Things hit the fan in an unexpected way towards the end but the conclusion was a good one. Things are dealt with all except what to do about Ryan's dad, who I think of as "Daddy Dearest". I'm thinking that will probably happen in another book.

“I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”

3.5 stars rounded up. At first, I wasn't sure about this one. Their first meeting was this super awkward back and forth where neither of them knew what was going on or how to act. And while I absolutely appreciated Ryan making sure Hope was 100% on board I thought the repeated asking for consent thing was tiring. Ryan also handled the whole surprise baby thing really well. Sometimes the dialogue was choppy and immature but once I got to know the characters it smoothed out.

In general I enjoyed this. I wasn't sure I would as I've stuck to her MC series mostly (which is AWESOME) and thought I'd give this other series a try. I won't go back and read book one because I don't think I'd like the H in that one but if the series continues I'd def read the next!

Each other’s everything!

The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shocking moments. I absolutelyLoved the interactions with Ryan and Hope.Sweet and funny at times. Super steamy at other times... Great read overall. I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Authors Blurb: I wanted her the first time I laid eyes on her. But what starts as a fun time, quickly gets serious when the stick turns pink a month later. My life is already chaos with my recently paroled father popping up and the usual drama at the family business building custom motorcycles. Plus our reality show just got picked up for a full season.
But it really hits the fan when I discover that the new woman in my life is the daughter of the President of the West Coast Kings, the baddest motorcycle club in Sacramento--and our biggest client. Think he'll like being called Grandpa?

Well let me start by saying
This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

If you’re a fan of the tropes;

• Accidental Baby

• Family Becoming a Wall in the h/H romance.

• Biker Clubs/Gangs

• Hot sexy/possessive/protective heroes

Then this is the book you’re looking for. I can’t belibe I enjoyed this so so so much. The hero’s determined stance and the heroine’s sass!!! I’m so glad to have discovered Gillian Archer, honestly!! ♥️

Fast is the second book in Gillian Archer’s Burn Brothers series and highlights the unconventional beginnings between Hope and Ryan and sets the tone of the story as a whole. An accidental pregnancy, drama and angst, and the MC thrown in for good measure; this is definitely a book with lots going on. But the crux of this story is the relationship between two somewhat insecure and floundering individuals who have tough decisions to make, family to contend with and through it all, must get to know and trust each other. I love the Burns` and can’t wait to read the next in the series.

This is my first book by this author and what a find! If Fast is an example of this author’s writing I will be looking up more from her. This was an entertaining read mixing the surprise baby and motorcycle gang tropes although with Hope being the daughter of the MC president and Ryan and his brothers being commissioned to make a bike for the Prez, the MC aspect is not a primary focus of the story. Lots of family drama. Great characters. Told in dual POV with some steamy scenes to heat things up, you get a good insight into both Ryan’s and Hope’s emotions and thoughts. Very enjoyable!

I read this book in a day, it was a fast read but it was amazing! We meet two characters, Hope and Ryan and we follow them as they fall in love, as they struggle to understand what’d change with the new baby, and the changes they’d have to endure to live their life.

I liked this book, it was nothing too complex, and was actually a surprise as I was sure it would be the usual book in which there is the cliché insta-love. It was not, and I’m really happy I was able to read it!

Final vote: 3.75/4

Loved this gang of Burns guys! They are hilarious and complex and a tad screwed up. Now add in the daughter of the 1% MC and perfect reading!

I loved the chemistry written between Hope and Ryan. I loved it was a quick connection and when you know, you know! It is exactly that sometimes! The different dynamics with the MC, Ryan's dad, the show and the females of the family were a great addition. Great read!

Ryan works in Badass Builds with his brothers. And the West Coast Kings MC is one of their most important clients. In one party, he meets Hope. And after just one night, she gets pregnant. Will they be meant to be together even if they don't really know each other? And there are more surprises to come...
I was super excited about this book. And I kind of liked it although I was a little bit disappointed. Honestly, I don't think I will read the rest of the books in this series

I love it when the hot handsome player falls hopelessly in love with the woman of his dreams and isn’t afraid to show it. That my fellow romance readers describes Ryan to the letter. Sexy as sin, built like a machine, he’s got money and celebrity but is lust struck from the first time he sets his eyes on her. Hope is a tad bit confused and is facing new challenges based on some of the recent developments in her life. Discovering her father is the Pres of one of the nastiest biker clubs further complicates things. Deciding she needs to take charge of her life she begins by fulfilling some of the things on her sex bucket list. A one night stand with sexy Ryan being the first thing. From here on end their relationship forever changes as they decide to fall for one another and the new life they created. Love them, love this story. I voluntarily reviewed this book after reading an ARC of it.

If all men were like Ryan then this would be a perfect world. He is sugar and spice and everything nice. This is kind of a reverse romance and I thought the story was told very well. I love family dynamics in stories and the Burns family is so interesting and diverse and you never know what is going on their heads. Ryan and Hope were such a cute couple. Looking forward to more Burns brothers (and sister).

Okay, so I had a bit of a shaky start to this, simply because I was struggling to 'get on' with Hope and I felt there was not a lot of accuracy behind the conception **spoiler ahead** (eg, they had literally just had sex - i'm talking seconds ago - and were talking about how she could be pregnant?! it doesn't happen that fast guys! Maybe years of ttc have ruined my mind though haha)

When we arrived at Hope's decision not to take the morning after pill, I honestly just got mad. It seemed like a really juvenile and irresponsible reason not to take the morning after pill, just because 'she didn't like it' - (girl the side effects will last all of a few days!?!) I know that obviously the story required her to not take the pill because otherwise there would be no plot and no development for Ryan and Hope - but her reasoning was frustrating - it would have made more sense if she'd have just been allergic or something as this seemed to go against the character we were getting to know.

ANYWAY - at this point, I nearly lost hope (no pun intended) and was going to DNF but I figured, no, stick with it because the writing itself is fantastic and Ryan is an amazing character - i'm a sucker for bad boys who are really softy's at heart.

Thank god I continued!! I ended up devouring Fast in a matter of hours after my bump in the road (again, no pun intended!). Hope, as a character, grew on me and I wound up routing for her and Ryan and the little nugget they were fighting to protect (and lord let me tell you, that epilogue - can I just get a whole book of Hope, Ryan and Fliss?!?!?! ADORABLE)

Aside from the couple of early set backs I faced when reading, Gillian Archer managed to pull it back with her exceptional talent for writing and creating a world you are literally sucked into. By the end I was honestly convinced I'd been lifelong friends with the Burn's boys.

I absolutely would recommend Fast to anyone who enjoys this genre and if you're reading and you're feeling its not hitting the spot, hold out because it really does get better!

I'm now going to go back and read the previous Burns book because 1) the Burns brothers are amazing and 2) Gillian's work is fantastic!!

I was so thrilled when I got a copy of this book through NetGalley, in exchange for a review, since I am a fan of Gillian Archer and love all her books. Its OK if you did not read the first book in the series, you can figure out what is going on since the Storyline dealt mainly with Hope and Ryan, but I would recommend you read it just so you get to know the brothers better. It had plenty of steamy romance, some heartache and moved at a good pace, perfect summer or really anytime read. Can't wait to see what will happen next.

This book definitely lives up to its title. In a good way. It was a pretty quick read but the characters were so great together. I loved their chemistry and and love story.

Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
