Good book. Very steamy. A bit disorganized

I enjoyed this book, it had a solid premise. The heroine, Emma Fischer, is stranded in France by her traveling companion and has to make her way back to Paris without knowing how to speak the language. She gets attacked at the train station and is helped out by two male models, Jaxson and Chase, who had seen her telling of her friend at the hotel the previous day and were impressed by her. They have a hot vacation menage fling with some D/s thrown into the mix.

After returning to Madison Wisconsin to college for her masters degree, she misses them and they apparently miss her so they take a vacation from modeling jobs and stay with her for a while. The BDSM is sizzling and romance is nice, not insta-Love. The odd and somewhat schizophrenic part is the sub-plots about Emma’s parents and Jaxson’s parents, they both seem sort of rushed and under developed. Also it is odd that there is little to no mention about Chase’s family when there are separate plots involving the other two.

I won’t give away any spoilers, but the book seems to end at an odd point to me. It isn’t a cliffhanger. It is actually an ending, but it just seems a bit unfinished to me. Almost like in Sleepless in Seattle where the movie is leading up to the point where they meet and then they just barely meet and it is over. You don’t eve get to see what happens or if they like each other or live happily ever after. (I’m still talking about Sleepless in Seattle) cuz that ending bothers me. 😝.

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I don’t mind the concept, but the quality of the writing us horrible. I can not recommend this one. The word choice, grammar, flow... All amateurish at best and at times not only that, but uneducated. It felt piecemeal as far as the story arc, the dialogue was stilted... just not good.

Infamous Love by Livia Grant is a thoroughly enjoyable novel about a grad student who is on her own in France. She meets up with two gorgeous models who offer her a ride in their private train car to Paris and they enjoy a very erotic ride, at the end of which they should part. Jaxson and Chase convince Emma to stay the night with them, but they never exchange information when they finally part the next day. Will they ever see each other again? An unconventional love story that will be sure to titillate!

I really was hoping for a fun read, but it was not to be. I DNF this book because it would be a waste of my time to proceed.

The all trope of "women are bitches and cunts" (the author's choice of words, by the way) really felt off and the writing is really bad.

Seriously who, in an emergency, says: "She appears unresponsive" or "I´ll go in search of a doctor"?

I truly can´t recommend this book.

I had read this story before in the Black Light series so was intrigued to read more. This one unfortunately fell a little short for me - don't get me wrong - I enjoyed the story but not as much as previous work. Some parts felt a little forced to me and the dialogue wasn't my favourite. I will say I did enjoy the connection between the three characters and the underlying message of being true to yourself etc.. Plenty of chemistry and I would check out more books from her to see if they're a better fit for me.

This story was HOT HOT HOT! Everything I could have asked for! Jaxon and Chase make the perfect pair for Emma! Love that our heroine was a BBW! There are not enough written about us BBWs. Love how much they complimented her and wanted her to think well of herself. That made the entire book for me! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!!

Hot, sexy and sensual this book is a sweet dom/sub treat and I loved every BDSM minute of it. I loved how they ravished her in the most beautiful, exotic setting. It was deliciously satisfying. 5/5 stars.

This writer is good, but the sex scenes leave much to be desired with words like "gagging" and "spittle" repeating too much and there seems to be not much consideration for consent. It was a big turn off for me for a New Adult novel.

It was a hot and humid day when I started to read Livia Grant's Infamous Love. Little did I know how much hotter my day was about to become!
Emma is rescued by models Jaxson and Chase when a group of thugs harass her in France. The boys decide to help her out and offer to let her travel in their private rail car and then stay in their Paris hotel room.
Get your glass of ice water and electric fan ready ladies! Passions ignite between the three of them and they spend a hot, Hot, Hot night together.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book just really didn’t do it for me. It was poorly written like a bad porn. Thank you to netgalley for the Arc.

This was a great premise. I’m into the insta-love and ménage, the damsel in distress, the insecure woman who needs reassurance. Yeah, all of that. What I did not enjoy were the derogatory ways that women were referenced and it was HARD for me to keep reading when we’re hit with that straight away. Calling women sluts, bitches, body shaming girls for being skinny. This was coming from all involved (that pun was totally intended!) when even the H’s were calling other models “skinny bitches”. Emma has body issues herself and is insulted so many times for being overweight but thinks it ok to body shame others. Some of the people in this book were horrors and deserved the vitriol but that could have been accomplished in other ways. All of this was just really distracting from the hot MMF hotness.
