This was a sequel to PS I Love You and a sampler of 37 pages. It is set in Ireland. Holly Kennedy works for her sister in a second-hand shop called Magpie. It has been seven years since Holly’s husband Gerry died from cancer. Before Gerry died, he left ten letters for Holly to open each month after his death. Each letter ended with “PS I love you”. Holly is asked to speak about how the letters helped her get her life back together. She speaks to an audience of friends and family in her sister’s shop and the interview is broadcast in a podcast.
Many people listen to the podcast and a small group of people suffering from cancer or other terminal illness form a group and call themselves “The PS, I Love You Club”. They want Holly to help them write letters so they can leave something for their families.
Holly does not want to get involved but she gives in and helps after meeting the club members.
This was only a small sampler of Postscript but I loved it and I have since read the book and fully enjoyed the book, I loved the humour and the sadness,I loved the descriptions of Holly’s family and friends and the stories of the members of the “PS, I Love You Club”

I would like to thank NetGalley, Cecelia Ahern, and Harper Collins for the ARC to review. I loved PS I Love You and was delighted to see Postscript. I was hooked, from the first word to the last. I couldn't put it down. It did not disappoint. I laughed and cried. I am giving to my daughter this weekend to read. I wasn't sure that a sequel could do PS I Love You justice, but it did. Cecelia Ahern did a brilliant job with this book. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

A small sampler is a difficult way to review a book, but this did give me a small taste of what to expect with Postscript. Like many others, I had previously read P.S. I Love You and looked forward to see where Ahern was going to go with a follow-up book. The first few pages were a little slow, and perhaps a bit too wistful, but things soon picked up and returned to the type of story that I was expecting. I was really starting to get wrapped up in the story when I reached the end of the sampler. Now I am very much anticipating the release of the full book. This seems like it could be a great sequel to the original story.

I was so excited to get this advanced reader copy from netgalley. I was unfortunately unable to open it. I purchased the book and absolutely loved it.
I've waited a long time for Holly to resurface. Holly shares her story of the P.S. I love you, letters on a podcast. This opens the proverbial flood gates.
Terminally I'll patients reach out to Holly to create their own letters. This brings Holly right back to a place she thought she had left behind by growing and learning to live without Gerry.
This book is so well written and brings back all the feels Cecelia Ahern lends in her writing.

I loved reading this , it was both emotional and funny. Once I started to read it I couldn't put it down.
Fabulous

I don't have enough positive words in my vocabulary to describe how much I LOVED this book. Just as amazing as PS I love you, I sobbed my way through this book and still wasn't ready for it to end. Beautifully written, can't recommend it enough.

I loved PS I LOVE YOU and reading this sampler makes me want to dive right in and read the book in full. It's hard to write a review on only a few pages, but I know this book is a hit already. Ahern has wrote what looks like a terrific sequel and I can't wait to get hooked into Hollys life again. Her husband died at 30 from cancer and it seems she has established a new life. Gabriel sounds like a dream and I can't wait to find out how their relationship develops. Right I'm off to buy the book.
Thank you for the ARC.

I received a sample and can not wait for the full copy to arrive in the mail! Wish I had a bookstore nearby, I would be picking it up tonight!

Reading this short extract has made me need to now go and buy the full book! This seems like it will be an excellent follow on to ps I love you and I can’t wait to find out more.

Based on the fact that this is just a sampler, it's hard to give it a review. Based on what I read it seems like it would be a good book. I never read the original book or saw the movie, so maybe my review would be better if I had. It has the promise of a good book, great characters you can root for, storyline that sounds interesting and depth of character.
I'll echo what others have said and give this a middle of the road review as I would need the entire book to make a informed review. For what it was (a sampler) it was o.k.

This is not really a review as I only read an excerpt but gosh, I laughed and I cried all within this first 30 pages and NOT in the privacy of my own home but on the train commute home, oops!
I'll be hunting down a copy so I can read the rest of the story! But I'll be reading is at home ;)

Hard to give feedback for a snippet of a book, but based on what I read, I'd enjoy reading the rest of this sequel to one of the genre's best chick lit books.

I received a chapter sampler of this book in exchange for my honest review. However, I’m not comfortable giving a positive or negative review based solely on a few chapters, so I’m giving the most neutral rating of 3 until I have read the entire book. At that time I will revise my rating.
Based on what I have read so far, this sequel does not disappoint. PS I Love You is such an amazing book that it might be hard to follow up, but so far Cecelia Ahern is off to a good start telling the next era in the lives of our beloved main characters.

Thanks to NetGalley for a sample of this book.
Having read PS I Love You a while ago, I was intrigued if I would enjoy this, but its certainly got me wanting to re read the first book to really fall in love with Postscript. Thanks again

Unfortunately I was unable to review this book as the format was incompatible with my device. Thanks anyway.

I would like to thank @netgalley and @HarperCollins for the ARC chapter preview. Fantastic peek into the follow up for P.S. I love you and to build excitement for the story to continue. I look forward to Postscript in its entirety as the reviews I am seeing online have been great. Thank you for the teaser, I am even more excited to read.
4 stars for what the chapter.

"How can I survive until the book comes out? I am hooked. No, I am addicted, taken, sick and am craving.
I saw the movie. I fell in love with the story and the characters. I cried my eyes out. Only to be taken on the rollercoaster ride with the sequiel and to be left on ascent with no brakes or emergency exit.
Sequel to P.S.I love you is promising to be the book of the year or even more. It is promising to rake your hearts and leave you gasping. It is promising to re-evaluate all your choices for you.
What is grief? Are we allowed to grieve forever? Are we allowed to make a project out of our grief? Are we? Are we really.
Can't wait for the book to come out"

Thanks to NetGalley, Harper Collins and Cecelia Ahern for the opportunity to read a sample of this book. However, I didn't realize it was just a sample and am sorely disappointed that I won't get to read the entire book right now!
This is the sequel to the wildly popular and wonderful P.S. I Love You. Holly is now 7 years past the death of her husband and 6 years since she read the final letter he left her. A group inspired by her story, calling themselves the P.S. I Love You Club, draws her back into reliving that time and grief.
I know this will be a wonderful book and I can't wait to read it in its entirety!

Seven years of trying to reinvent herself and move on with her life, Holly is approached by a group calling themselves the PS, I Love You Club.
Life is turned topsy turvy. This club is inspired by Holly's experience with her husbands parting letters and want Holly to help them with their own parting messages for their loved ones to discover after they’re gone.
Holly is determined not to get involved, after her life is finally getting back on track after the grief of loosing Gerry. But is there something else out there for her to experience and will this help or hinder.
