Thanks to NetGalley, Harper Collins and Cecelia Ahern for the opportunity to read a sample of this book. However, I didn't realize it was just a sample and am sorely disappointed that I won't get to read the entire book right now!

This is the sequel to the wildly popular and wonderful P.S. I Love You. Holly is now 7 years past the death of her husband and 6 years since she read the final letter he left her. A group inspired by her story, calling themselves the P.S. I Love You Club, draws her back into reliving that time and grief.

I know this will be a wonderful book and I can't wait to read it in its entirety!

Seven years of trying to reinvent herself and move on with her life, Holly is approached by a group calling themselves the PS, I Love You Club.

Life is turned topsy turvy. This club is inspired by Holly's experience with her husbands parting letters and want Holly to help them with their own parting messages for their loved ones to discover after they’re gone.

Holly is determined not to get involved, after her life is finally getting back on track after the grief of loosing Gerry. But is there something else out there for her to experience and will this help or hinder.

This book was received as an ARC from HarperCollins Publishers Australia - HarperCollins in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I was a fan of PS I Love You and the relationship Holly and Gerry had together before he passed away and written letters for Holly in the purpose of rebuilding her life and would always end them with PS I Love You to remind her that he will always love her forever. Gerry's tactic inspired a support group the PS I Love You Club and when needing more support they seek Holly for help. Reluctant at first, Holly agreed to help them and little did she know that this group would be the piece missing to rebuild her life post Gerry and all she needs to execute the last letter from Gerry in hopes that she would rebuild her future and live her best life, even if it means forgetting her past.

We will consider adding this title to our Adult Fiction collection at the library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

I haven't read this because it's in PDF form and not available for my kindle. The book has been released already and this is only a sample anyway.

So happy that I got to get a glimpse and read the lovely prologue and thirty pages or so of 'Postscript'.
Definitely will be getting a copy of the book soon.
It looks very promising. I have a feeling that I would enjoy this.
4.5 stars for now.

It’s been year since I read PS I Love You, yet I was immediately drawn to Postscript. I like following up on characters when there is an open ending such as in PS I Love You. The original book was an emotional roller coaster and though I could not relate to the main character, having never lost a spouse, her story was still one that stuck around long after the last page. Postscript picks up years later, yet delves right back into the world of Holly and Gerry with some creativity and angst as well. The sampler I was able to read from Postscript is a tease of the worst kind, ending on a cliffhanger; I cannot wait to read the full book.

I received the sampler and really enjoyed it.
I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the books and seeing exactly where life and love takes Holly on this next instalment of her life.
Thanks so much to. Netgalley , Author Cecilia Ahern and publisher Harper Collins for the sample.

This is a snippet of Cecelia Ahern's followup novel to PS. I Love You, and she quickly brings you back into Holly's life! It feels like you have never left. Certainly going on my Christmas list!

An intriguing sampler. This sequel to PS I Love You, takes place seven years after Holly’s husband has died and six years after she opened the last letter. She’s moved on and is in a new relationship. One day, she participates in a podcast ‘How to Talk About Death, where she discusses her experience and the response is overwhelming. Holly receives another letter - an invitation to the PS I Love You Club. Interested to find out where this leads and how Holly grows with this new challenge.

I loved this sampler and can’t wait to read the book in its entirety. I want to know more about Holly’s Journey through her grief.
Many thanks to Harper Collins Publishers Australia, the author, and to NetGalley for providing me with a sampler in exchange for my honest opinion.

Years later I am still sobbing for the first book, PS I love you. I read the translated version of it and it's amazing. Holly is someone you can't dislike, and I love the friends and family around her. Now she's back, set on years later after Gerry's devastated death. From this sampler, I could see the book still talked about him (yes!), talking about griefing and bereavement that Holly had faced for all those years. I was so glad the book seems more mature and probably deeper. I am excited and can't wait to get my hands on the book.
Thank you netgalley and HarperCollins Publisher for the opportunity to read the sampler.

Many thanks to NetGalley, Harper Collins Publishers Australia, and Cecelia Aherns for an ARC in exchange for an honest excerpt review of Postscript. My thoughts and opinions are 100% my own and independent of receiving an advance excerpt.

RUN!! Don’t walk. Seriously run to the nearest bookstore, or get those little fingers typing on Amazon because it is finally here. Yes! The long awaited sequel to P.S. I Love You. I will not wait one more minute. As soon as I can I am reading the whole book. The premise is that we meet up with Holly seven years after suddenly losing the love of her life Gerry. Ah, Gerry. The one who wrote her all those letters, to be opened, one a month, so she could move on and heal. It looks like that’s what she did. She still has her best friends and a new guy, Gabriel. She works with her sister who owns a second hand/vintage store. Her sister also has a podcast and Holly finds herself a guest talking about grief. A month later and her sister has not stopped bugging her about continuing to share her story. That podcast was a big hit. Holly should write a book, give talks, something. But Holly is not having any of it. One day her sister gives her an envelope from one of their best customers. An invitation to help the P.S., I Love You club. This group wants to write their own letters for their loved ones for when they pass and they want Holly to guide them. Can Holly do it without the grief sweeping her up in its grip again?

I loved the first book. I already cried in chapter two of this book. I can’t wait to re-familiarize myself with these characters. I highly recommend this. Are you still here reading this? Go, run - yes, NOW!

Happy #bookbirthday / publication day to Postscript (the sequel to P.S. I Love You) 🎉❤️

I had the chance to read an extended preview of this book and I’m very intrigued!!! It sounds very different from P.S. I Love You and I’m excited to get my hands on a copy so I can see what it’s all about!

Thank you to the publisher and @netgalley for providing a free advanced preview of this book.

Wow! I can’t wait to read more of this!

PS i love you is one of my favorite movies of all time. It took me forever to finally read the book, but when I did it became one of my favorite books of all time. I never felt like it needed a sequel, it was absolutely perfect. But I was so excited to hear that we would learn more about Holly after Gerry.

This little excerpt has absolutely left me so anxious to read more. I love Cecelia Ahern’s writing and her characters have stuck with me for years. The first book was so moving and cried pretty much throughout the entire thing. I can’t wait to connect with these character and cry even more in this book.

Thank you for my review sampler copy of this book from Netgalley.

Just cruel have a tiny piece of a book especially with characters met so long ago....Cecelia Ahern I think is on to a winner with this book though. From the tiny snippet I was given of this book it has made me put my name down for a copy in my local library - I have to read more. Warm, funny and down to earth writing like this just makes me long for cold evenings wrapped up on a sofa for reading. i can only hope the rest of the book stands up to this.

Thank you Harpers Collins Australia and Netgalley for this ARC

I really enjoyed PS I love You so I was super excited to be lucky enough to get this ARC sampler of its follow-up.
It was a nice teaser and anticipation builder until the actual book is released next week. I can’t wait to read it.

This was a great introduction this book. I am really looking forward to reading the rest. I am a huge fan of P.S. I Love You, so I was super excited to learn that Ahern was writing a sequel. I am excited to revisit all these characters again and see what they have been up too!

I was really interested to know what happened to Holly after the P.S. I love you letters, and reading this sample made me want to read some more... To be honest, first few pages weren't so interesting and then, when it became more interesting - it ended.. I must say, I am very interested to read it all the way to the end. I hope I won't be disappointed in the end.
