Unfortunately, I have not been able to download the file so I can not read the sampler. I can't wait to read the actual book when it comes out though!

I’ve been provided this sampler by Net Galley. All opinions are my own.

This was so promising! I’m so excited to meet Holly again and feel the heartbreak and heartache the previous book brought me.

Wonderful start in the continuation of Holly’s story of love, loss, perseverance and healing. I felt that Postscript’s transition from PS I Love You was seamless. We dive right back into the life of Holly Kennedy and her quest to find peace after the passing of her husband Gerry seven years ago. We are re-introduced to all our favorite characters from the last book. Looking forward to reading this book in its entirety when it’s released. So far I’m loving it.

I remember when I read "PS. I Love You" that I wanted more of the story. Now, my wish has been granted. This sample provided me just enough to suck me back into the story and leave me wanting more. Can't wait to read the story in its entirety.

The Postscript - Sampler from Cecilia Ahern is the sequel to the much-loved P.S. I Love You, and promises to be just as engaging. We reunite with Holly Kennedy seven years after the death of her beloved husband Gerry. In Gerry's final letter to Holly, he encouraged her to find love again, but it seems that her late husband is still very much in her thoughts. I am already intrigued, and anxiously await the opportunity to read the full novel.

Thanks to NetGalley and HarperCollins Publishers Australia for this sneak preview.

What a sampler! I wanted to read on, it just left me desperate to get my hands on this novel as soon as it comes out, preordered immediately! We find the story starting with Holly 7 years after Gerry dies, 6 years since his last letter. Her life has obviously moved on, but something happens that has her revisiting that time. This was such a great insight being able to see a bit of what’s to come in the follow up to “P.S I love you” which is just one of those books that never leaves your memory, even if it has been a number of years since reading it. Might have to re-read it before this sequel!

I can't wait to read the complete book! "P.S. I Love You" is one of my all-time favorite novels. Although I'm not a fan of continuations so long after the publishing of the original, I was instantly intrigued by both the premise and the cover. I'm very sure, Cecelia Ahern will finally return to former heights with "Postscript".

Loved the movie “PS, I Love You” with Gerard Butler as the perfect husband ... swoon! So swept up this enticing preview for the sequel, which focuses on Holly Kennedy’s life seven years after her husband’s death. Highly recommended.

Pub Date 23 Sep 2019.

Thanks to the author, HarperCollins Publishers Australia, and NetGalley for the review copy. Opinions are mine.

Well, if that wasn't a true teaser, I don't know what is?! That little sampler ended in the perfect spot to leave me, the reader, sitting there with my mouth hanging open. Now I can't wait to get a hold of the complete book when it releases in September! This book picks up with Holly's life, which is now seven years later after Gerry's death. She's recently been asked to speak about her experiences after his death and the letters he'd left her. As people are caught up in their enthusiasm over it, they pursue Holly and want her to be more active with other groups and organizations in speaking and so forth. She is fearful of being pulled back into the darkness of her grief even though she hasn't actually verbalized that to anyone yet. Holly is actively practicing avoidance.

In the brief portion of the book that the sampler provided, it was enough to see that it holds great promise. I think it will be a story of Holly's continued self-discovery and hopefully she'll be able to fully allow herself to love again. At the point I was at in the book, she has a boyfriend, but she seems to be only halfway in with her commitment level.

P.S. I love you is hands down one of my favorite books. I am so greatly to have been given the chance to read the sampler and am equally devastated that it was just a sampler. This is the book I have been dreaming would happen and it seems so promising! I CANNOT WAIT until it is published! Thanks Netgalley for giving me the chance to read this in exchange for an honest review!!

P.S. I Love You is one of my favorite books ever and I was so excited to read this sample of Postscript. Ahern wrote something so special so many years ago and I love that she is writing a follow up to one of my most memorable reading experiences. I can't wait to read more about Holly's journey and I look forward to reading the full-length book soon!!

P.S. I Love You is my favorite book. This book has affected me like no other. So when I read Ms. Ahern was doing a sequel, I was beside myself. Thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins to this sampler of the beginning.

This story picks up 7 years after Gerry’s death. Holly has moved on somewhat and has agreed to do her sister’s podcast on how to talk about death. Little does she know, she will meet someone to start her down another path....or so I assume!

I had the familiar lump in my throat while reading this that I had with the first book. I CANNOT wait for this book! More, please!!

******WHAT A TEASER...not fair I have to wait******* I’m going now to reread PS I Love You!
