This was super cute. The two main characters actually talked to each other instead of assuming what the other is thinking - which is always a plus in my eyes. Adding the fact that they are super into each other and cutely so, a focus on family, and two really brilliant pets, this was really lovely. I wasn't as much into the B-plot of them being victims of arson and burglary but it didn't overshadow the main storyline.

Leah Emerson isn’t looking for a man she’s looking for the right man. But her mother’s idea of a great catch leaves her cold, and she’s pretty sure her cocky, arrogant, and way too good-looking new neighbor isn’t the one either. When I started reading I couldn't put it down. Aurora Rose Reynolds is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.

I found it completely predictable and just plain corny yet still enjoyable. I cannot day that I loved it and I can’t say I hated it either. If you are looking for a fun fast paced read with a side of corny this is the perfect book for you.

I really liked this one and a big part of that was due to the couple, Leah and Tyler. There wasn't any drama between them. Tyler basically met Leah (and what a way to met!) decided he liked her and went about being around her. I thought it funny that they were basically dating before Tyler finally announced his intentions of wanting more. Thinking they were just friends let Leah get to know Tyler without any pressure, so when he stated he wanted to date her things zoomed ahead for them. With each relationship milestone they passed both Leah and Tyler seemed surprised that the other was on the same page, acknowledged it and went on with life, so nice to see. Sure some outside trouble crept in, and why couldn't they see who was behind things, I know I sure did from the start. I did love how all of that played out, how Leah and Tyler got the last laugh.

I loved the glimpse into the future for this couple, loved seeing them living their HEA.

Forgive me, but I just finished swooning over Tyler and Leah in the book and can't stop gushing over it.

I so happy to finally read about a woman who decided that she's no longer a doormat and know that she absolutely deserves the best when it comes to her love life,

This story was everything. Leah and Tyler were wonderful together, and I loved how they were so committed to each other when they finally got together,

I have pretty high expectations for any book that ARR releases because she spoiled us with the dreaminess that is the Mayson brothers, Fortunately, this book did not disappoint and I highly recommend it :)

Catching Him had my interest from the start. I found myself laughing often throughout the entire book. This book was good. Tyler was our lovable Alpha and Leah was our stubborn, independent heroine. Together they are awesome. Together they are hot. Together they find their BOOM. I highly recommend reading this book. This was a good read.
This was another good one Miss Aurora Rose Reynolds!

Leah Emerson fell into Tyler Duncan's life, literally. Chasing her cat through the window of what she thought was a vacant house next door, Leah finds herself laying on the floor wishing she was anywhere else. Not only is the house not vacant, her new neighbor is incredibly hot with a large side of cocky. Tyler's not looking for love he's just in town for work, but after meeting Leah his mind has been changed. Leah's been looking for love with all the wrong men, including her ex who's back and wants another chance. Unfortunately for Leah, her ex doesn't know how to take a hint. Now Tyler's caught in the middle, trying to protect the woman he loves.

This book was adorable, it has a great meet cute, is sweet and low angst like a Hallmark movie in the best way possible. Not everything was completely smooth sailing for the couple, things like disapproving parents, and ex's that kept showing up at the wrong time and causing trouble were involved. One element that I really liked about this book was the fact that the couple had good communication skills, sometimes it's so frustrating when you know if they would just talk to each other for 30 seconds things would be ok (I know, then there would be no book to read), but I did appreciate that about this story. Overall this was a super cute story, and I honestly didn't see a blatant set up for the couple in book number two, there are a few good options, I'm excited to see how the rest of the series plays out.

Catching Him is a wonderful story about two neighbors, Leah and Tyler, slowly fall in love. Leah has a cat named Mouse who she adopted from the shelter and he tends to escape and he does exactly that into the neighbors house which is currently empty. Tyler recently moved to start a new job in a new town and he’s just bought a new house when suddenly he hears someone climbing in his window. They don’t exactly start off on the right foot with each other, thanks to the cat and his dog. Leah and Tyler have both had their fair share of bad relationships and know what they want in a long term relationship and they are both wanting someone who loves family and is wanting kids and marriage. Leah and Tyler are great characters that you find yourself rooting for and the other characters in the book are just so relatable as well. It’s a great read about love and finding someone who treats you right.

If you’re looking for a”beach” type read, this is a one click for you. A great storyline will low to no angst, with a sexy alpha whole steals the show. A great easy read that will have you swooning over Tyler. As usual with ARR’a style, you’ll be swept up in a this BOOM romance.

Aurora Rose Reynolds has done it again!
I loved catching him from the beginning of this book! The heroine falling into the hero’s window while venturing for her cat named Mouse! This books provided all the elements I look for in a romance!

3.5 stars! This sweet, enjoyable read by ARR is a great way to spend an afternoon. With an alpha hero and adorable heroine who don't waste time playing games, very little angst, a realistic plot, and a dog who steals the show, this book kept me smiling throughout. I did find the writing style a bit different from what I remembered of ARR's other books that I've read (the Fluke My Life series); it seemed like there was a lot of Leah just retelling her day. As a result, I didn't feel like I was immersed in the story or the characters' lives; I felt like an observer. I enjoyed being that observer, however. Overall, I found the book to be a nice reprieve from the angsty books I often read. The main characters are extremely likeable, and it's impossible to not love them together.

A sincere thank you to NetGalley and Montlake Romance for providing an ARC for review.

I really enjoy Aurora Rose Reynolds’ books and writing style so “Catching Him” was one of my most highly anticipated books of 2019. Sadly, it did not live up to my expectations. This book felt too much like some of Aurora’s other books. I love an alpha male so that was no problem but everything else felt like something I had already read by her. This book follows two neighbors, Leah and Tyler. They meet one morning when Leah opens her door to get her mail and her cat escapes and jumps into Tyler’s open window. Leah then jumps in the window to rescue her cat because she believes the house is vacant... even though there are moving trucks right outside and his truck had been in the driveway for days. Leah felt a little childish to me and whenever Tyler said something alpha male like (ex. “You’re mine now”), Leah’s always responded with things like “Oh my goodness,” “Holy cow” and “Holy moly.” It happened so often it quickly became cringey and annoying. After their awkward meeting, they quickly form a cute friendship that leads to an epic romance. Though this book got on my nerves at points it was still an enjoyable read. I was definitely rooting for the characters to end up together and for the most part enjoyed all the drama with the ex-boyfriend that ensued. Overall, this was an average read. If you’re looking for an easy romance with some drama and an alpha male, I would definitely recommend you pick this one up.

Happy reading!

Aurora Rose Reynolds does it again with a brand new series How to Catch a Alpha! I'm sure this woman writes the absolute best alpha's going. Their all growly and protective and just make your heart skip a beat.
Everytime i read a book from this author i know I'll love it, whether its a Until book or another series its everything to do with the writing and the characters.

Leah and Tyler are amazing, so great together, the relationship between them is hot and sweet and their jokes between each other just seals the package for me.

Leah was cute and funny, she meets Tyler by accident by trying to retrieve her cat from his house.

Tyler is absolutely amazing, i loved him from the very first page i met him, he was the perfect alpha he has the whole 'until boom' alpha vibe going for him.

Seriously this book is so good! You need to grab it when it releases!
I can't wait for more in this series!

I totally loved this sweet, somewhat fluffy alpha romance. There was just the right mix of light hearted drama, comedy and heat. Definitely keen for more of this series, feels a bit like the return to the old school ARR awesomeness!

This is an amazing start to hopefully a new series! Aurora makes you fall in love with the ultimate alpha male and this time was no different! I love the way the titles were written and the way she can write easy banter so well. She has the perfect feel good stories and her stories leave you wanting more!

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake Romance for the advanced copy. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a sweet, sexy, melt-your-knees kind of story that any romance-sucker could get into. Since this is by Aurora Rose Reynolds, I wasn't surprised by how quickly I got sucked into the story.

Tyler is a gem: sexy, kind, protective and love kids. I mean, can he get any more perfect?

Tyler and Leah make sense. They both love animals. Leah's parents want to marry her off and Tyler is no commitment-phobe. Oh, and they live across each other. How awesome is that?

Nothing but love for this one!

I love romance books especially insta love. This was an easy to read low drama read. I loved Leah and her introduction to Tyler was great, the story mainly focuses on their relationship and how it develops which is what I love. There is some drama as always but it’s not OTT or too far fetched and it doesn’t overshadow them as a couple. Great feel good read can’t wait for more.
