She has done it again!! Another great hands down alpha romance. Leah is a hair stylist and single. Tyler just moved from Tennessee and is Leahs next door neighbor. From the first moment they meet to the end, they bring comedy, love, and adventure. The perfect couple. With the friends and family between the two as secondary characters, can't wait for the next book. A one click bye for me and everyone book after!

There is just something magical when you read a book, and it touches on all your happy thoughts, and needs, and feelings. This book is that book, and while there is a little bit of drama, for the most part, this is boy and girl, well, a man and a woman, getting to know each other, and falling in love. The pieces all fit, everything aligns, and while it is not all smooth sailing, it is darn near close to it

Leah and Tyler have tried relationships, but nothing ever worked out for them. Then they meet, and the attraction is instantaneous. Experience has taught them not to get their hopes up, but they soon realize there is no stopping this, it is real, and it is exactly what they have been needing. One annoyance, that becomes more as time goes on, and a possible big hurdle, are met head on by them both, together, because their hearts know, this was meant to be!

I loved this book! It had me laughing right from the beginning as Leah crawled through the window. Tyler was everything I expected from one of Aurora's alpha's. He was actually a little more subdued and sneaky in his alpha ways but no less intense. Together they were everything I love and expected. Great intro to a new series and I can't wait to read more!

Wowie!
Aurora did an AWESOME job with this one.
Awesome!
I absolutely love Tyler! And Tyler and Leah. Oh, and Bruce. Bruce was a sweetie! I need a Bruce in my life. You do too - you just don't know it yet.

So these two meet when Tyler is new to town and Leah is literally breaking into his house. She literally climbs into his bedroom window because her cat ran into his open window. And she is only in a t-shirt and panties. Oops! In her defense, she thought the house was vacant.
And as the saying goes, the rest is history.

I HIGHLY recommend this one! I loved everything about it from the beginning to the end.
(I also recommend all ARR stories. She's a great story teller.)

I honestly have little to say about this book because nothing much really happened. 🙈 They meet. 👫 They date. 🍴 They have sex. 🔥 They fall in love. 💑 They meet the parents. ☑ His Mom is a bitch for five minutes. 😠 The end. 🔚 Throw in an underdeveloped mystery plot with a baddie you could see from a mile away, and two cute pets, and you basically have the entire plot. 👀 I mean, it was OK. 👍 It was sweet, but my tastes have changed as of late and I need a little more "meat" in my stories. 🍗 This one was pretty much all fluff... 🍬

I'm a sucker for books with easy love, a funny storyline and sweet characters. Catching him had this in spades.

I'm a huge fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds and the stories she writes. While Catching Him was sealed up nicely for Leah and Tyler, I smiled and laughed throughout their story. Their meet cute was enough to keep me reading.

Leah has a sweet disposition but I also found her to be a very naive. The strong bonds she has with family and friends also made her extremely likeable. That being said she isn't afraid to use her voice when needed. Her grumpy cat is challenge but if it wasn't for this wayward feline, Tyler and Leah wouldn't be a couple.

Tyler is 100% Alpha male. He wasn't looking for anything but a change in where he lives until Leah falls into his life. He immediately takes on his role of protector and friend in one chapter. He was a little bossy at times but not overbearing. I'm a sucker for a take charge guy.

The storyline was rather simple and not a lot of drama. This is fine for me as I wasn't looking for anything more than that. There were a few obstacles that the couple faced but they were relatively small and were able to be handled quite easily

This author is a must read for me. She never disappoints to put out a good story. This one was complete with mystery, romance, and a few laugh out loud moments. I love that you can feel the chemistry between the main characters, while also getting to know other characters in the book.

Enjoyable story. Cute. I had kind of guessed who was behind all Leah's troubles. The story felt a little easy. The couple never really fought and the one little fight was anti-climatic.

I've read other Aurora Rose Reynolds titles in the past and I've enjoyed them. I will continue to read her other titles as well. Unfortunately for me, this title fell flat for me. I loved the first half of the book which is where my three stars come in. However, the last half of the book completely bombed for me. The use of "baby" is one of my pet peeves and I don't think Tyler said anything to her that didn't have the word "baby" in it. And the whole alpha male thing? I wasn't feeling it. The whole "danger" part of the book I found forced. It didn't make sense to me - I feel like that aspect should have been explored more so it didn't feel so forced and confused as to what happened - I don't want to give it away so you'll have to read to find out for yourself.

Don't get me wrong - the concept of the book is super cute. Next door neighbors. The witty banter back and forth. The sexual tension. The slow burn in the beginning. However, once that slow burn was flamed out, I felt like the book took a nose dive into cliche central. The one was just a miss for me. However, just because it was a miss for me means it will be a miss for you, so go ahead and check this out if you like romantic comedy like books.

I love ARR. I have loved her books since Until November. It's a book I can read again and again and still not be bored with.
The story starts with a cat jumping through a window. We all know cats are aholes so it's a very relatable scene.
This story was a slow burn unlike other stories by ARR, like the BOOM.
I like the difference still. There was some drama, tons of chemistry and a slow burn of relationship.
The characters were everything you expect from Aurora Rose Reynolds, but with a touch of something more and new. You still get your chemistry and alpha with a dash of drama.

So fabulous. Loved the couple interaction and it is a great original story. Highly entertaining with the animals. Brought some hilarity and smiles while you read. Couldn’t put it down.

Catching Him is the first book in Aurora Rose Reynolds's How to Catch An Alpha series. This was a strong start to a new series and I can't wait to read more!

Leah is a hairstylist who has been frustrated by the men she's dated. Tyler, Leah's new next door neighbor, hasn't had a ton of relationships but knows he wants more with Leah as soon as they meet. Leah is a little more skeptical.

I really liked Tyler and Lead and was rooting for them from the beginning. I loved that the author took time to build their friendship instead of throwing them right into instalove. I also liked that there was some suspense thrown in - but not enough to make this a romantic suspense novel.

Overall I give this book 5/5. I really enjoyed it and it is the perfect quick read for a summer day. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I inhaled this story, how could I not. It was everything and I cannot thank Aurora Rose Reynolds enough for writing it, in her much loved unique manner. I smiled through copious tears of happiness, my heart feeling full and complete whilst sad that’s its all over, I just can’t feel anything but happiness and lobe right now. It was aces!! Rock on....and be prepared to be swept off your feet!! Happy reading!!

In true Aurora Rose Reynolds' form, she made me swoon HARD for the hero in this book. Tyler was one of the best alphas that I have ever read and I just love him with every fiber of my being. The cocky actions, swoony looks, and smart comebacks are only some of the juicy goodness you will get from this book. I love the amount of angst that ARR injects into her stories; it doesn't overwhelm it, but they make you feel every emotion. Leah was a true sweetheart. down on her luck with boyfriends, she has basically given up, but Tyler unlocks her heart. I can't wait to read Aurora's future books in her How To Catch an Alpha series!

Catching Him is a funny, light and sweet romance. The whole book was filled with sugary sweetness from Leah and Tyler, their family, their small townfolks, and their lovely pets. Tyler was an alpha who knew Leah was exactly what he wanted. I loved that their relationship was candid and honest without any mind-games. There was a minor suspenseful storyline regarding some criminal activity that was targeted the couple. However, it was resolved quickly.

I enjoyed this low drama, sweet and easy read. If you are looking for something nice and fluffy, this would be a great choice.

I have not read a book by Aurora it seems in forever and it was good that I got reintroduced to her with Catching Him. You will fall in love with Tyler-hottie neighbor and his dog Bruce. We meet Leah who has decided that she was not going to chase men anymore they were going to come after her since she had wasted 2 years of her life with her ex and his undeciveness. She ends up meeting her neighbor in unique fashion and he is oh so hot, but she is avoiding him. They bump into each other due to Bruce (Tyler's dog) and the rest is history..Tyler is Alpha to the core and sweet and possessive, yum. I loved Leah's family and friend, Tyler's mom not so much-she is lucky for Leah because someone else would not have been so understanding..Hopefully Leah's friend gets herself a hottie soon. Enjoy!

This was a cute and fun tale, with a little bit of a mystery thrown in. I really enjoyed it!

Leah Emerson co-owns a successful hair salon with her mom and grandma in the small town of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She pretty much has her life together, but she's never had much luck with relationships. She's in her 30s, she owns her house, and she adopted a cat (the most difficult one at the shelter, not to mention). Her cat, Mouse, has a propensity for running away whenever the mood strikes, and once when he escapes outside, he climbs in the open window of the house next door. She believes the house is still vacant, so she crawls in after him, in nothing but a tank top and undies, first thing in the morning. But, of course, there's a sexy new neighbor living there, and she is mortified. Talk about a meet cute! But, in addition to her embarrassment, he annoys her, and she avoids him for the next week or so. But boy does she like looking at him through the window...

Tyler Duncan just recently relocated from Tennessee to take a new job as a construction foreman for his friend's remodeling business. When he first meets Leah, he seems smitten, but he keeps aggravating her somehow and she avoids him. Luckily, his dog, Bruce, is his wingman, and gets himself "lost" over at Leah's house, and she falls in love with the dog. After that, he and Leah become friends and start hanging out all the time. Tyler really wants Leah, but he's playing the long game, wooing her while getting to know her, to make her comfortable with the idea of dating him.

Tyler and Leah had sparks right from the start, and I loved their constant banter and arguing. They really fell for each other gradually, after their initial attraction, and I adored that. Both of the their families were fun, and interesting, and I loved their interactions with them as well. Tyler's mom had to get a grip, but once she did, she was great too. I enjoyed watching each of them with the other's family too.

There was a little mystery/suspense plot here, but I felt like I knew who the bad guy was right away, and I was right. It wasn't a super crucial part of the story, so figuring it out immediately didn't really hamper my enjoyment of it at all. I'm curious if all the books in this series will have a similar mystery element, or if that just happened to fit the plot for this one.

This is only the second or third book I've read from this author, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. I love stories where the hero is all in from the start, and this was definitely that, even when Leah wasn't recognizing that fact immediately. Tyler was an awesome, swoonworthy hero, and I couldn't get enough of him. I wouldn't have minded having a bit more of the story from his POV, rather than 90% being from Leah's POV. I enjoyed several of the side characters here, especially Leah's bestie, and Tyler's sister. Hopefully Leah's friend will have her own book soon!

Catching Him was an ARC I’ve had sitting on my kindle for a while but hadn’t read. For some reason I was expecting something different so I waited and I am so mad at myself now. This was a such a great neighbors to friends to lovers story. I really liked Leah and Tyler and how their relationship grew. Everything between them was just easy; the book was filled with a lot of witty banter and passion. This is simply a really great love story with highly likable characters. Throw in a bit of drama and some steamy scenes and I was entertained completely through the entire book. It was just fun and sexy.
This is the first book in the How To Catch an Alpha Series. I will be reading any and all books in this series.
I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

I love Aurora Rose Reynolds books. I know romance in real life is never like this, (at least it never has been for me) but it is still a great read. Leah and Tyler are not looking for love but they end up finding it anyways. Great read and I can't wait to read more.

ARC provided via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
