Just couldn't find the funny~and I sure tried several times. Sorry Books Go Social and NetGalley. I received the ARC for my honest opinion.

I could not get into this story taking 4 attempts before I finished. Could not find empathy for any characters the plot I found so convoluted and where was the humor?

So ... I just didn't get it. I didn't enjoy the writing at all. I'm sure the author is talented, but I'm going to assume i'm not his target audience.

Literary, engaging, and inviting — I enjoyed Scooter Nation and will be glad to visit A.B. Funkhauser’s work again. What I liked most was the way Funkhauser brings characters to life in prose.
