I was given an advanced copy for honest review.

This was a story about a very successful woman who put her personal life on the back burner in order to help take care of her family. Carrie is asked by her sister to allow an artist to use her likeness in a mural on the outside of her sisters shop. Edwin is a talented Artist finishing school and he has noticed Carrie before and is excited to possibly work together. Will Carrie allow Edwin to paint her? Will Carrie let down her walls to let living life into her busy business first world? Can Edwin trust himself as he knows he is falling for Carrie?

This was a ver interesting read. It showed success can happen to women as much as men. A successful women does not have to intimate a man who is confident in himself. There were so steamy parts but tastefully done.

His Billionaire Bride is a standalone however I have to say it is wonderful to have already been introduced to some of the characters in book one; the story does stand on its own. I was gobsmacked after reading book one and was totally floored with book two. I don’t want to give away any spoilers so I will tell you what I loved about His Billionaire Bride.

Carrie Morgan is a force of nature. Her personality is persnickety and prickly and warm and wonderful and loving. She is fierce where her family is concerned but mainly lives in her own little world where she is safe from social interactions and having to show her feelings. She’s been burned, badly and she deals by retreating into herself. I also enjoyed the work interactions within her company that reminded me so much of my time working with startup companies and the well-to-do founders. Edwin Prince is a talented, loving, sweet man who is amazing…and amazing at driving Carrie crazy. Loved him! And talk about his talent as an artist – it is fascinating how the author describes his art and talent so that you can actually see and feel it.

The author put much heart and soul into this story, and it shows. The characters experienced love, hurt, sorrow, joyfulness…so many different emotions from one end of the scale to the other. Carrie’s and Prince’s journey is up, down, and around but there is much genuineness in it that it touched me in all the right places. Don’t get me wrong – I really had some major issues with Prince’s parents and his friends. Carrie’s family has so much going on in their individual lives, but they always band and stick together, and fight for one another; it seems that is how they actually survive and flourish. There are big life issues in this story but Ms. Ash dealt with them smartly, with love, and touchingly. Both Carrie and Prince have to overcome self-recrimination before they can help themselves, and each other. Thru it all, I really liked that Prince always knew who he was and stayed strong. It was only by using his strength could he help Carrie.

I am really enjoying this series and can’t wait to read about another Morgan sister. I highly recommend this story and the series. I received an ARC via NetGalley and this is my honest review.

The book information caught my eye right away as did the eBook cover. I thought, "Oh, this one is really a different slant and could be really good." And it was. I also noticed and liked the descriptive flavor of this author. She made things come alive. And it made things feel that way too!
I loved the main characters. They couldn't be more different if they tried. They couldn't have been more incompatible if they tried and they shouldn't work. On paper they don't but together now that is a different story.
Edwin was bright, likeable and joyous and with so much talent. It cracked me up that people had a nickname of sorts for Carrie. She was the wolf and intimidated the daylights out of just about everyone. But I liked even more the nickname Edwin gave her and how it came about. Her talent was from a totally different realm than Edwin's. She was brilliant in the business world but what most people didn't see was how precious her family was to her. She carries a lot of pain caused by family losses and failures in the romance area. That makes her incredibly self protective. Edwin carries pain as well but that turned out to be quite a surprise to me where a lot of it was coming from. Not the fact that people would be attracted to him and his energy. Not that when they had got "all they wanted" and then they abandoned him. All of that was bad enough but there was even more reasons for his pain that you will have to read the book to find out why. One of his secrets made me a bit uncomfortable but the story was so dang good that I just kept reading. All of these things and more made it an emotionally good story.
It all comes to a stunning, emotional, brilliant ending.
You might also like to take a look at the the excerpt of "The Wedding Obsession." Its the first book that features Emmie (who is Carrie's sister) and Bran.

“I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”

Not my usual genre and honestly I struggled with most of it., I didn't like Carrie and hoped Edwin would tell her to get lost. It's a well written book and usually I'm not a happily ever after person but I did want it to work for Edwin's sake.

I recieved a free digital copy from Netgalley and Tule Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

Sadly I couldn't get into this one at all. I made it almost a thrid of the way in and nothing really happened... And yet at the same time every thing happened. I jumped from meeting to meeting with very little actually happening in between even though they talked about it. Neither of the main characters - Carrie or Edwin - were particularly likeable. Very little plot and little to no character development. No background - your just thrust into the story with no idea how/why it's really happening

I can't even begin to describe how much I loved this book. I reread the last couple chapters several times. The characters were very strong, but likeable. Edwin was so in love and Carrie was so afraid to love. I am now going to go find all of her books to download, especially the first one of this series.

Carrie is used to being in control, but when an art project involves the electric Edwin Prince, the strict businesswoman starts to crumble.

I received a free copy from Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review.
I didn't realise that this was the second book in the Morgan Sisters series, but it didn't affect my reading. This works perfectly as a stand-alone, and made me curious about the other sisters' stories.

Carrie is a confident and brilliant businesswoman. She has made a name for herself, at a relatively young age. She is a complete workaholic, and is happy to let her career dictate her life, as she is in high demand for meetings and sponsorships.
Her only break is going to her sister's club and watching the crowd, with one young man in particular catching her hungry gaze. Her rule has always been look: don't touch.
This is challenged when Edwin and Carrie have to work together on an art project.

Edwin is an artist finishing college, and he knows what he wants to dedicate his final project to - the wolf that has been watching him for months. He has fantisised about her for so long, he will do anything to make her happy.
Edwin has been rejected by his family and ex-lovers, but maybe this fiercely independent woman might be his perfect match.

This was a much more emotional and in-depth story than I was expecting. There are no "meet cute" tropes, there's no lightness or hints of humour. This is pure Contemporary Romance.
The story was intense and focussed on Cassie and Edwin's emotional journey.
As such, it was slow reading, and I was disappointed there wasn't more to the story. Midway through, we gains some insight into their behaviours. I found their respective histories intriguing, and I was miffed that they didn't explore them further. The one scene with Edwin's family was full of potential, and it felt wasted.

If I'm honest, I didn't like Carrie. For a pro-active go-getter, who is ruthless in every aspect of her life, she is completely naive when it comes to romance and flings. She makes up conflicting rules, doesn't know what she wants, and is ready to hurt Edwin before he hurts her.
Carrie's history into how she became a billionaire was rather lame. Emotionally traumatic, yes; but realistically? I never saw her as a savvy businesswoman. It's just a title that's lumbered on her, for the sake of the story.

The whole story was frustrating to read. Even Edwin gets unlikable towards the end. For an open-minded guy who wants whatever make Carrie happy, he's ready to pressure her into commitment and following a normative route, because hey, they've gotten to know each other for two weeks.
I got very growly at this part, and was happy when the book came to an end.

His Billionaire Bride is the second book in The Morgan Sisters series by Madeline Ash. Carrie Morgan is a successful business woman. She is guarded yet vulnerable. She cocoon her heart from emotions that she wants to feel but is deathly afraid to do so. She is a sharp-tongued, sassy and enduring woman.

Edwin Prince is a young rising artist. He is charming, vivacious, thoughtful, and compassionate. He is ridiculously good with being around people. He has an impressionable energy in him that makes him hypnotically irresistible.

It starts with Edwin wanting to paint Carrie for a mural, a bride. His Billionaire Bride. It is followed by all those adorable nervous twitchings, teasing and playful flirting. I loved how the author explored their intimacy that was so much more than just sex. It was delicious to savour the unspoken connection between them. It felt like a discovery. Their attraction was so potent with the sexual intimacy woven in the threads of a "non sexual" intimacy. Ms. Ash writes sex like a poetry filled with vibrant tension and promises of love that oozes warmth in every word.

I really liked this book and how the author constructed their relationship from a superficial magnetism to a deeply ingrained love.

Tried really hard to get into it but by the end I just couldn't say I enjoyed it. The odd dialect use was strange and made it hard to read. It was almost too intelligent for a romance novel. I had no clue really what the premise of the story was except from what I read from the blurb when I first downloaded the book. It was hard to follow and I wished I could've said I liked it more. Sorry.

While I can appreciate the quality of the writing... this one just wasn’t for me. In an intriguing role reversal, this book features a strong and successful 30-year-old woman who has workaholic tendencies and avoids commitment. A woman who gives off an intimidating vibe, Carrie finds herself inexplicably drawn to Edwin, a 24-year-old artist she unapologetically watches dancing at her sister’s business. He’s oh so very hipster - red hair, pale skin, freckles, willowy frame. When Carrie’s sister asks her to sit for a portrait (that Edwin will paint), she agrees in the hopes that it will end her obsession with him. What she doesn’t anticipate is that Edwin will turn out to be a great (if not slightly broken) man, and spending time with him does nothing to diminish her attraction.

For me, Carrie is just too overbearing. She’s a bit emotionless, hard to connect to and her fear of commitment doesn’t make her any more likeable when Edwin starts to bare his soul to her. It’s a truly unique and original story, I will give it that, but Carrie made it hard to enjoy. Edwin is the sweetest guy, and his past makes him wary of casual relationships - something that he’s willing to compromise for Carrie. Thank you, NetGalley, for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I just couldn’t get into this one, but that doesn’t mean that others won’t.

Entertaining read.

Carrie has been watching Edwin for a while, and when they are thrown together by her sister, she is forced to face up to her attraction to him.

I liked how this is told from both of their points of view.

Looking forward to the next book in this series.

This book was not what I was expecting, but it was beautifully written. The author was so eloquent in her word choices and it was really captivating to read. Thank you to netgalley for the ARC.

Very unique story. I would have liked to have read more about their life after they began their relationship instead of skipping from the proposal to the wedding, but overall a great read!

A great addition to The Morgan Sister's series, His Billionaire Bride by Madeline Ash.
I totally enjoyed the character development in this book and the great characters. I look forward to seeing what the author has up for us in the next book in the series.

So it actually too me a couple of chapters to get into this book. But I am glad I gave it a chance. It was a great story once you got into it.

I was in awe with the magnificent writing style the author was able to showcase and her abilities to bring the characters to life. The raw feelings, emotions and hurt between the lead characters Carrie and Edwin are felt through the pages and despite the constant back and forth whirlwind of emotions thus being the only annoying portion of the read, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this novel. It easy to relate to couple and their inner turmoil. They are flawed humans who learn to grow and admit their faults which isn't often seen and besides being at opposite ends of the spectrum, they were able to work around their insecurities and fears before making it to their happily ever after. "His Billionaire Bride" was a worthwhile novel and I can't wait to indulge in the other installments of the series.
