This book was okay- it kind of had too many storylines and characters which made it confusing. It started off slow but gradually got faster paced. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a free copy in exchange for review.

3.5 stars for me!

I enjoyed reading Good Little Liars: how secrets, lies and deception can linger and change so many lives as we find out 25 years later on the brink of a class reunion.

The story goes from past to present which will keep you guessing.

If you like Big Little Lies and Pretty Little Liars you will like Good Little Liars.

Well worth the read.

Thanks to Net Galley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review Good Little Liars..

Thank you to Bookouture & Netgalley for the advanced copy of
"Good Little Liars" by Sarah Clutton.

I chose this book based on the blurb, and the fact it was described as "A gripping, emotional page turner with a breathtaking twist."
For me on this occasion it just didn't live up to that forecast!

I found there were alot of characters and all of which seemed to be coming from all over the world, back to their school reunion in the UK. I do like a book to be set in one location, it makes for easier reading, the characters themselves were too messy, too much going on and it all got a bit too confusing remembering who was who.

I didn't find the storyline gripping and the slowness of it just didn't hold my interest as the blurb had.

Overall on this occasion, it just wasn't for me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review "Good Little Liars" all the same.

I loved this unputdownable book!
It was a thrilling, unnerving read. The characters were realistic. The plot was gripping and fast-paced. Run, do not walk, out to get this fab book.
Thank you NetGalley.

Good Little Liars by Sarah Clutton is a book about the lies we tell and how keeping them will end up destroying us.

I liked this book although I found the timing a little confusing, it seemed to jump forward in time with no warning.
I enjoyed reading this book as I had originally thought I knew how it would end, but it just went a different direction.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to review this ARC.

The book is told in different times and different characters. You are reading one persons story and then it takes you back in time. It’s an all girls prominent school. Twenty five years later they are looking at a reunion. Emma is having trouble remembering her friend Tessa’s death. She saw something that she never told anyone and it has bothered her all these years.
I read the book , but to me it was a hard read. It just didn’t grab my attention... Thank you for the opportunity to read this...

Thank you for granting my wish! Not exactly a ~thriller~ but bingeworthy nonetheless. Put this book on your fall TBR.

This book was a good surprise! But, I wouldn’t necessarily call it a thriller or suspenseful. The premise is about the 25th school reunion of several women and they are also remembering how shortly before graduation their friend Tessa was “mysteriously” killed. It’s told from the perspective of three women. What I liked about this was the perspectives were not confusing and each character was developed really well. There are tidbits of secrets, lies and half truths that made this an interesting read. I wasn’t too happy with the ending twist about Tessa but overall this was well written and enjoyable. The author knows how to tell a story.

I absolutely loved this book.
I was gripped from beginning to end. There are various reason why I gave it 5*s. Firstly, we get to know so much background of every character, what they are like, what they were like and what relationships they have with one another.
Secondly, the pace of the book was excellent. All the chapters, coming together, to bring that brilliant ending.
Thirdly, there was so many twists and turns. I honestly thought I knew who the murderer was, I was so wrong. I was gripped all the way through.
And lastly, I loved the ending, I love it when you get to know what happens to every character.
Thank you so much for the advanced copy. Great job Sarah

This is a gripping read which captivated me from the beginning
The only negative point is that the book lacked depth in the middle of the story.
A good read

I devoured Good Little Liars in a couple of days. So refreshing for a book to be set outside of the UK or USA. It’s set in Hobart in Tasmania and the twenty fifth anniversary of Emma leaving Denham House Girls School is fast approaching.

It’s also been twenty five years since her friend Tessa died. After her marriage breaks down, Emma moves into one of the school’s properties and finds a photo. Could this be evidence that Tessa’s death wasn’t an accident?

This book is a tale of friendships, family and secrets. It will grip you from the first page, draw you in and leave you wanting more.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and can’t wait to read more. Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and the author for the chance to review.

I really wanted to like this book based on the information I had about it but I found it hard to get into. I don't know if that was because the chapters were 'told' from multiple perspectives and that interupted the flow. I also felt it meant it was harder to connect to or understand the characters. I enjoyed the mystery element and how the book slowly unfolded to discover what had happened but I found myself with a skipping pages urge which I don't normally get. It was well written and suspenseful though so worth a read.

I enjoyed reading this book, although at times I found it a little slow and the plot a little silly. Still, an enjoyable read nonetheless.

It is hard to believe that this book is the first for this author. It is very well written and has well drawn characters. I like the fact it delves into lives, past and present, of everyone who was involved with Tessa (the girl who died). I definitely want to read more from this author. I recommend this for sure. Give stars for me!

At A school reunion Harriet came across a old photography from years shoehorn she had attended the school,.It seemed to set a trigger of events off in her mind about something that happened to a friend. Involving the headmaster and her friend. At the reunion she started up make arrangements to meet up all girls back to together sort of thing. I can only assume this was a typo and was corrected prior to publication , only because for a few seconds I became a little baffled when a few chapters later Mellie, announce she had seen a indecent with the girl and the headmaster..which led to their friends death. For some reason at the time it was never mentioned to the police. Being told I honestly do not know if it was just myself that who seemed to get even more confused. Or what, Harriet seemed to Have Plenty to Say so did Melrose ( Mellie) in fact so did Emma. Everyone has something suddenly to say. Or thought they did. It's Amazing how everyone can see the same indecent service so many different events of it. I genuinely can't suitcase myself best of feeling off I just didn't enjoy parts of this book. It didn't grip me.. Even now as I thinking back none of them after further.investing the past it seemed t0:unravel only go become more tangled than ever.

Loved the premise of this novel and throughly enjoyed it. A great plot switching between the present and past and a group of girls whom attended the same elite school in Hobart. The narrative switches between the women and the memories of the death of a fellow student just prior to them completing year 12. The women’s 25th school reunion is impending and the past and present collide dramatically. I read this in one day and can’t wait for the authors next book. I enjoyed the characters different personalities and their development. Set in Hobart, Tasmania the author paints the city in brilliant detail including the extremely popular dark MOFO festival. I live in Hobart but was not aware that this is where the book was set until I began it. I hope Sarah sets her next book in Tasmania as well it was a fabulous bonus to the story. Will be buying this as perfect chick-thriller Christmas presents this year.

Really great read.... The 25th school reunion is coming up for Emma, Marlee and Clementine. You'd think the fact that Emma hit 'reply all' to the reunion email, thinking she was just responding to Marlee and discussing her lack of sex life with her husband and her thoughts on Tessa who was a pupil in their year who died just before they left school would be more than enough drama... But no!

The author takes us on a roller-coaster ride or adultery, secrets, lies and friendship.

Loved all the twists and turns and how everyone was somehow connected.

Great book... Oh and really did not like Emma's husband, what an idiot.

Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to review, this is my honest opinion

I actually really enjoyed this book. From the synopsis I thought that the book was mostly going to be about Tessa’s murder, but I was in for a juicy surprise. Good Little Liars was filled with plenty of drama that connected Emma’s life to the other main characters. Even though Tessa’s death becomes the center of the story as other characters are introduced, I believe the other women’s lives are really the main attraction.

I wasn’t as wowed as I thought I would be when I found out the real story behind Tessa’s death. I think that was the only thing that I found a little disappointing. Other than that, character development was great and it definitely kept me interested.
