Bridge of Trust:

This was classic Abramson; suspense, action, with a dash of romance thrown in. It was great seeing a familiar character, albeit briefly. Summer is a well developed character who deeply cares about her children. She's feisty and strong, and won't go down without a fight. Ethan is an FBI agent determined to do his job... even if that job requires him 'babysitting'. I hope to see more of them in future novels.

Corrupted:

A great story idea, along the lines of Taken. However, I felt there was too much description or unnecessary dialogue at points when it should have been purely action. For example, if you've just heard a terror-filled scream, it's unlikely that you're going to stop to analyze it or explain exactly what you've been doing in the kitchen before you rush out to discover what caused it. The bad guys were so obviously bad guys that it was almost painful to watch the main characters fumble their way through to catch them. Kinzington had the potential to be a strong character, and shone well in the few scenes where the focus was on her.

Insidious:

This one drew me in quickly. I would have liked it to be a full length novel! I wanted to get to know the characters better, to see more of their lives together before tragedy struck. Still, it was compelling reading seeing how Taryn handled her husband's sudden illness, and seeing the doctor's response to her. Dr Winters was an intriguing character. I couldn't tell at first if he was villainous, or just taking offense at being told his job by a patient's wife. I'll let you read it to discover which it is!

Something Beautiful for Something Evil:

I've learned in the past that it's not a good idea to read Black's books late at night. They're usually way too chilling to get a good night's sleep after! Either I've toughened up, or this one is tamer than her previous ones. It was still a page turner though. She writes in a way that leads the reader to initially question, then accept, then facepalm that they didn't see the twist coming until it's made obvious. Masterful!

Fun compilation, quick read, four great authors. My favorite two stories are the bookends: the stories by Abramson and Black. I read them out of order, saving Abramson for last. Each novella was complete with a beginning, middle, and end. The character arcs were small due, which is typical for a novella. The intrigue was excellent, which is what you expect from these authors. Overall, each story was satisfying.

A book of four novellas by talented mystery/suspense/thriller writers is a book I couldn't pass up. I was already a fan of three of the authors (Abramson, Poulson, and Black) and now I'm a Gregg Luke fan.

BRIDGE OF TRUST by Traci Hunter Abramson--a mother trying to get her son back from the boy's criminal father, her ex-husband. While Summer heals from injuries sustained while trying to keep her older son from being kidnapped, FBI agent Ethan Flanagan tracks down leads on the missing boy.

As usual Traci Abramson kept me awake reading so I could see how this exciting story ends.

CORRUPTED by Clair Poulson--a mother's daughter is missing and she has to convince the police that the girl's been kidnapped, not runaway from home. Police Lieutenant Jay Tanstall is asked to investigate some of his fellow officers and discovers some might not be on the straight and narrow.

This story was interested because the readers know the truth of what's happening but not who's behind it until almost the end.

INSIDIOUS by Gregg Luke--Andrew is a pole vaulter headed to the Olympics until his body suddenly betrays him and he ends up in the hospital clinging to life. Nothing the doctors do really helps and they can't figure out the cause.

This story was scary especially when you find out what the diagnosis is and the cause. I loved that Andrew's wife, Taryn is a pharmacist and didn't let the main doctor treating her husband talk down to her. She knew her stuff and stood up to him.

SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL FOR SOMETHING EVIL by Stephanie Black--Kate and Colby are newlywed's and live in a small town. Kate is an artist and takes a part-time job at The Treasure Chest, a store in town.

I kept wondering when Kate was going to figure out that things weren't adding up. I thought I knew who the bad guy was but not the motive. It was really twisted. Another great suspense/thriller from Stephanie Black.

I really liked all of these stories. They grabbed me in and wouldn't let go until I had finished them. I like novels over novellas but with a novella you can read it in an afternoon when you got some spare time or the kids are napping. I also loved the cover and how ingenious it is with the authors names going down while the title goes across.

Thank you Covenant Communications via NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

I have to say that they were all edge-of-your-seat stories. I particularly love the delicious creepiness of Stephanie Black stories and this one did not disappoint. The questions of who is the killer and who is the next victim kept the toe-curling tension high the entire time! Traci Abramson's story was a fast-paced thriller of a young woman whose child has been kidnapped by her criminal ex-husband and she'll work together with an FBI agent to get them back. I really enjoyed the hero in this one and his dedication to the case. Clair Poulson's story features a human trafficking element that is all too real in our current society, and Gregg Luke's story of a frantic search to find a cure for a rapidly progressing disease is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.

Each story had a different angle of suspense and will satisfy any reader who loves bite-sized bits of chills and thrills. These four stories will definitely keep you on your toes and turning pages as fast as possible!

This is a great read! Four of my favorite suspense writers in one book is definitely a plus. If you like a suspenseful story, but, don't have time to read four entire book, these novellas are for you. (Thanks to NetGalley and Covenant Communications for the ARC.)

The first thing that I noticed from this collection of novellas is the creativity in the cover. The author's names running down the title all spaced with one letter in between. That is so creative and impressive. The geeky OCD side of me loved it.

This book is a collection of four suspense novellas. All are written by author's that I have previously read and enjoyed. It was easy for me to get into this book. Not all of them have a "happily-ever-after". I was OK with that though. The story was interesting and life doesn't always turn out the way that we hope it will.

I was swept away by the first story. A young mother's son was kidnapped by her ex-husband's criminal network. With the help of FBI agent Ethan Flanagan, they work to bring her son home and stop her husband from bothering her again. This was my favorite story of the four.

The second book deals with police corruption and girls being kidnapped and sold. As a mother, it is terrifying and I was right there with the families hoping to get their daughter's back before it is too late.

Gregg Luke's knowledge of disease is terrifying. I am saying this in a good way. I love to read his books because they are interesting and full of information. He knows how to teach and entertain at the same time.

The last book was also a favorite of mine. Kate is gullible. She has information that is at odds with each other and has to try to figure out who to trust before it is too late. She has to piece information together to come to a terrifying truth.

I would say that all of the stories are well done. This book is 372 pages long and it only took me a couple of days to read it. It is a clean book with a lot of suspense and a tiny bit of romance. There is also non-graphic violence.

This was a great collection of suspense books that were all vastly different. One was a medical suspense. Another had to do with custody and crimes. One had to do with a missing child. And the one had to deal with who to trust. That final one is the one that kept me up late at night because I truly had no idea how it was going to end. All of the books were well-researched with plausible plots. I enjoyed all of the authors, and I would gladly read other books by them.

I’ll be upfront—I prefer novels to novellas. Novels give you more time with the characters and allow for bigger, more complicated plots. But since I’ve read previous books by these authors and enjoyed them, I was happy to get my hands on an ARC (thanks Covenant and Netgalley).

The stories were enjoyable. There might be a few drawbacks to novellas, but there are also some perks. It’s nice to let yourself get lost in a story and know it will only take you an hour or so to finish it, so it’s not going to take over your entire day. And these were all page-turners. They had solid plots that kept me wanting to find out what would happen next. Readers who enjoy shorter suspense stories will be satisfied with this collection.

Entangled is one suspense story after another with several strong heroines in each story.

The book starts out with Bridge of Trust. Traci Hunter Abramson's story of a woman on the run from her ex husband who's a crime boss, she will do everything to protect her sons from the life he has planned for them.

In Corrupted, Clair M. Poulson tells a thrilling tale of abduction and corruption within the police force and a parent's desire to do anything to get their child back. It's one story you have to finish in one sitting and not read before bed or it will keep you up all night thinking about it. At least it did for me.

Gregg Luke's story Insidious is one that puts your stomach in knots as you read and hope for a happy ending. It's about a strange illness and the wife who is her husband's greatest advocate with his health care.

Stephanie Black's Something Beautiful For Something Evil is a great story that leaves you wondering who to trust. With two strong females in this story you root for the truth to win before something deadly happens.

This book was a fun read and I enjoyed each story. Suspense novels aren't my go to genera but I would read this book again .

I was given the chance to pre-read this novel for Covenant Communications all opinions are my own.

Four of my favorite authors in one book- what a BRILLIANT IDEA! Each story is splendidly unique with one blended theme of suspense and intrigue. Be prepared to be captivated! I promise you will be turning pages as fast as you possible can to find out the Who, What, When, Where, and Why. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, IT!

A fast-paced set of four thriller novellas, which provides a great sampling for the styles and approaches of four popular authors. Two of the stories were police/FBI thrillers, one was a medical thriller, and the fourth a story of women caught up in a giant conspiracy. They were each page turners, and despite the shorter format, I felt connected and invested in most of the characters. I really liked the variety and now I want to read more from these authors.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a good book! I usually don’t care much for a book of Novellas as they seem too rushed to do the stories justice but I have to say this one wasn’t that way. Four stories by Tracie Hunter Abramson, Clair M. Poulson, Gregg Luke and Stephanie Black. I believe the 1st one was my favorite although they were all great. Bridge of Trust is very suspenseful and will keep you tense waiting to see what happens. There is a romantic ending as well. Also I liked the location of Arizona since I live here so I was familiar with all the places in the book.
In Corrupted you will be taken into a human trafficking story where young girls are kidnapped to be sold. It is hard to keep from giving away spoilers on this one so I won’t say more except that it was a very good story.
Insidious is a sad but very enlightening story of Medical Suspense. Andrew Miner has contracted a debilitating disease that has the doctors stumped. His wife Taryn, a pharmacist, goes on a search to identify the disease. This will keep you enthralled right up to the surprise ending.
Someone is using Something Beautiful For Something Evil. It seems there is a killer of young women on the loose and maybe Jamie could be the next victim. This is a good fast paced novella that suspense readers will enjoy.
All in all this is a great book. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.

In this book these four authors have brought us suspense and intrigue. They are well written with good characters. I loved all four of these stories. Each one by itself is amazing, but all four in one binding is a great deal.
