This erotic and suspenseful book showed the dark and gritty side of this unique motorcycle club. For those following Torpedo Ink, you already know that it is one of Christine Feehan’s more erotic series. And there is a lot of sex. I had not read anything from this series, and I was able to easily understand the players and their lives, however I would suggest reading the previous books to make it easier. I realize that we all like different reading, but this was not for me. It was mainly explicit sex and in the very beginning – it made no sense for Soleil, nor Ice’s feelings as to what kind of woman she is. The storyline would have been so gripping if it had been given more page-time and not treated as a means to get to the next sex scene. I scored it a 3.5 because I couldn’t wait to see how they took care of those pedophiles…that was satisfying.

Vendetta Road- Vendetta Road is the next book in the Torpedo Ink Series by Christine Feehan. It focuses on Isaak “Ice” Koval, the Secretary of Torpedo Ink Motorcycle Club, and Soleil Brodeur, a tech heiress who is in a dangerous situation. The Torpedo Ink gang is in Vegas for Steele’s and Breezy’s wedding, the main characters from Vengeance Road the previous installment in the series. In reality this is a cover to rescue a trafficked child who is being sold at an auction. During this time, Soleil is being harassed and abused by her fiance in order to marry her, so they can have access to her fortune and dispose of her. Ice and Soleil’s paths cross, they see potential in each other, and decide to get married. Torpedo ink takes on her situation and helps her overcome it. I liked this book in the series and I can see the set up for the next books. The book does focus on fleshing out the atrocities the gang survived in their special school in Russia, so be aware there is a great deal of description of child, sexual, and physical abuse. The heroine was very sex positive and not hung up on her looks or lack of sexual experience in comparison to her partner, Ice. I am looking forward to the next addition in the series. Vendetta Road is a sexy dark romance that will delight Christine Feehan fans. This book was provided by the publisher from Netgalley in January 2019 for an honest review.

I have really enjoyed the Torpedo Ink series so far! This book, however, started a little slow for me for some reason. I don’t know if it was my mood or just the pace of the story but it took me a bit to get into it. I say that because, if it’s slow for you, stick with it! About 40-50% through things get crazy and the pace picks up a lot. There is a lot of back to story to flesh out so that everything else later makes sense so that takes some time.

My favorite parts about the book were the action scenes; when revenge and vengeance was being taken. Those Torpedo Ink guys really know how to dish out some justice and I love reading about that. During those scenes I really liked how she writes from several POVs so you get to be inside the heads of both the Torpedo Ink crew and those of the bad guys.

Ice and Soleil would appear to be very mismatched from outside appearances but they mesh so well and Christine does a good job of making you love their love story.

There is definitely a lot of steam in this book; more, it feels like than the other books in the series (or I just don’t remember it sticking out so much).

I really like how Christine shares so much information about the side characters too. You learn a lot about them so by the time you read their book, you are already really invested in them. In this book, she delves more into the extra abilities of the guys which I really liked reading.

I’m excited for the next book in the series which I believe is Absinthe’s story. He’s is going to be super interesting and I can’t wait to read it!

Vendetta Road definitely brings the explosive sexual chemistry Christine Feehan is known for. The Torpedo Ink club heads to Vegas for a wedding only to find another member blindsided by a woman in a sundress. When Ice sees Soliel something changes, he feels.

Soliel is a trust fund baby that was orphaned at an early age. No one really wanted her more than what her money offered. Forced to Vegas by a strong arming financee, Soliel quickly realizes something is very wrong with the man who wants her to marry him. She is given advice by a beautiful biker babe in the casinos bathroom. Running for her life she finds herself in a bar surrounded by the same biker club the beautiful woman belong too.

Ice was shocked when Soliel strolled into the bar. He knew he wasn't going to let her get away again, she was his, now he just had to convince her. And boy did he convince her.

Warning: This story is a dark read that hits on almost every hot button. The entire club of Torpedo Ink was formed by abused children who where trained as assassins and sexual slaves. Now they fight for the woman and children being preyed upon. It is strongly described and not just implied.

I received this ARC copy of Vendetta Road from Berkley Publishing Group. This is my honest and voluntary review. Vendetta Road is set for publication Jan. 28, 2020.

No one could ever call Soleil Brodeur helpless. Ever since the death of her parents, she’s taken care of herself and her sizable inheritance. A beautiful girl is always going to attract a certain amount of attention, but one with money has a target on her back.

A moment of dark despair leads her into the protection of Torpedo Ink and one member in particular instantly knows that he would tear down the world to keep her by his side.

“He had to be careful not to fall under her spell. She was sweet. He’d never had sweet in his life. “Tell me the one thing you really want out of life.”
“A family.” She regarded him over the rim of her glass. “I’ve never had a family.”
“You had parents.”
“They died when I was very young, and I spent most of my life in boarding schools or hotels for holidays.” She smiled, but there was sadness in her eyes. Reality. Truth. “I think I’m really that proverbial poor little rich girl.”
So, she had money. He suspected as much, or she wouldn’t have been insisting on a prenup with that suit bastard who was going to die. He deliberately took a sip of his whiskey and she followed the action, but she didn’t really take that much of a drink.
“My club is my family,” Ice said softly and leaned in closer when Maestro stepped back and bumped him. His face was almost in her shoulder, his lips sliding along her skin as he spoke. She had the softest skin and she smelled liked heaven.
He kept his voice deliberately pitched low, intimate. “My brother and sister are my family. Never had parents that I really remember. Czar, our president, was my parent when he was ten. Looking for a woman who wants to make a life with me. Have my children. Make us a home. I’d die for my club, but I want my own woman, one worthy of living for.”

Isaak “Ice” Koval always had absolute control over both his body and his mind. It’s one of the qualities that made him so good at hunting human monsters. He could wipe out a child predator with all of the cool calm that his name implied and yet somehow there was something about Soleil that made him burn.

After just one night and an impromptu wedding, those that threaten Soleil still seek to harm her. But they never planned on the savage force of her new husband and Torpedo Ink. It’s a mistake that they wouldn’t live long enough to ever make again.

“She turned to him and framed his face with her hands. “I’m terrified of falling in love with you.” She didn’t know why she’d told him the truth, but she had and now it was right there and he could push her off him and say there was no such thing. Their relationship was about sex, that bright, hot chemistry that sizzled and scorched, demanding they stay with each other until the attraction fizzled out.
“I’m terrified you won’t,” he answered.

Vendetta Road is Christine Feehan’s hottest book yet! She once again takes her readers on the ultimate thrill ride, but this time it’s seductively darker than ever before.

Ice and Soleil have a chemistry that literally takes on a life of its own. At times it’s completely out of control and then seconds later, it’s almost sweetly endearing. They are the perfect dichotomy – light and dark – grace and violence.

Their journey is raw. It’s fueled by desire, acceptance, and that special kind of revenge that can only come from Torpedo Ink. So prepare to be left breathless in the very best of ways…

Christine Feehan heats it up in her third installment in her Torpedo Ink series. I thought Christine heated it up the last couple of books in the series, but she proved me wrong with Vendetta Road. She went from steamy to scorching with Ice’s story. Although, forewarning ahead of time that this book includes a lot of dark triggers/elements in it. If you read the previous books, then you know the Torpedo Ink members grew up in Russia being trained as assassins, but in the worst way possible. No child should ever go through what they went through, and that is why they now hunt pedophiles. Christine Feehan will bring up the past of each Torpedo Ink character in her books, and this time its Ice’s book. He went through hell growing up, primarily to protect his twin brother and little sister.

Isaak ‘Ice’ Koval has never had a connection with a woman until he comes across a woman in a sundress, while he’s on a mission in Nevada. He almost blows his mission because of the woman. The beautiful woman Soleil Brodeur is in Las Vegas with her so-called fiancé, Winston, who’s trying to force her marry him. She’s an heiress to a fortune, and she doesn’t want to marry Winston. The minute she tries to break it off with him, Winston becomes violent. She ends up running into one of the female Torpedo Ink members, Lana, who gives her Soleil’s information if she ever needs help. Soleil ends up needing her help and runs into a bar where the Torpedo Ink members are, and Ice immediately recognizes her from earlier. Ice and the rest of the Torpedo Ink club members are determined to help Soleil, especially after finding out the truth about what Winston is up to with Soleil.

Ice and Soleil’s connection is instant that they can’t keep their hands to themselves. Let’s say these two end up together several times that include on the pool table, in a clothing store, and at a camp in front of many others watching them. Their connection is not steamy, but off the charts, HOT! I felt that this book had a lot more sex in it from the other books due to the couple. Ice and Soleil are not prudish at all when it comes to being with each other.

So why only 3.5 stars? Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of instant-love connections. I wanted more of Soleil and Ice getting to know each other before jumping at each other. Although, I did enjoy how Ice protects Soleil and tries everything to reassure her that he can handle going after her fiancé. One of the most significant issues I had in the book was how Soleil doubted Ice and the Torpedo Ink members too much on protecting her. She didn’t know them very well, which was another thing that made me mad. She should’ve been told who they were from the beginning. There was also the quick plot to the story of what Soleil was running from and how Ice and the other Torpedo Ink members are protecting her from in the story.

Things I enjoyed though was getting more of what the Torpedo Ink members are trying to stop due to what they went through in their pasts. I love how they are not the typical Motorcycle Club too. They each have their powers, and they use those powers to take down some dark and twisted people. Christine Feehan manages to go into each character’s background a little bit more in each one of the books. I need to know more about each of the secondary characters.

Even though this book didn’t get a high rating from me, I’m happy that Ice got his HEA with Soleil. He deserved it, especially after everything he went through in his past and continued to go through in his present. I will say this that Soleil is perfect for Ice. She gets him on why he is the way he is after he finally reveals the truth. I wish I could like the instant-attraction, but sometimes it can be over the top for me.

Now his twin brother, Storm, and his sister, Alena, need an HEA too. They all deserve a HEA. Christine Feehan has managed to suck me into this twisted world, and I’m hoping that Torpedo Ink takes out all the sick and dark people of this fictional world.

I’m anxiously waiting for the next book since it’s Absinthe’s book and he’s fascinated me since book one.

Amazing!!

I have loved this series from the very first book and not one of the books have let me down because they are written so that you feel whatever the author wants you to feel. With this series there could be triggers for some people due to the background and the current lives that the Torpedo Ink members have lived through and what they are dealing with now. The great part is Torpedo Ink has always stuck together as a true family and they each have the others’ back no matter what the circumstance.

Ink and the good girl heiress, Soleil, have found their way to each other in an incredible way. Soleil was the fiancé of a powerful man who was pushing her into marriage she didn’t want and since she had no family she really didn’t know who to turn to for help until she met Lana who was one of the female members of Torpedo Ink. Lana gave her good advice and also her number in case she needed it after going back to break things off with her current fiancé. After her meeting with her fiancé she took off on the run down to the area where there were biker bars and found a man there with the same jacket that Lana had worn. She needed protection after discovering some very dark and disturbing things that had gone on and what these men were going to do to her.

Her safety net was in the form of a very bad*ss biker and he had a serious connection with Soleil. The road they took to take in their lives was filled with sex, chemistry, danger and a family bonding. I highly recommend not only this book but the rest of the books in the Torpedo Ink series. For me it’s an outstanding series!!

The members of Torpedo Ink have survived the most unimaginable cruelties in a Russian "school" in their formative years. Now headquartered in Northern California they seek justice for crimes committed against the innocent. When Ice Koval sees Soliel across a busy street in Vegas in the midst of a club mission the world comes to a stop for him. Imagine his surprise when later that night she walks into a bar where he has his friends are whiling their evening away. Before Soliel has the time to think, Ice has her bagged and tagged and mission complete speeding away with her on the back of his motor cycle on his way home. As it turns out Soliel thinks she's the one who forced Ice down the aisle. She's on the run from an abusive boyfriend who as it turns out is a fortune hunter determined to marry her and then kill her for her fortune. While the two are indulging their insane chemistry and sorting out who entrapped whom the club is pursuing a child pornography ring that seems to have started from the seeds of their formative years in Russia.
Before long they discover that Soliel's ex is linked to their targets and everything seems to come together as Ice and Soleil seek their vengeance while delivering justice. The story like most of Ms. Feehan's books has a lot of explicit sex scenes between the protagonists in various situations that they find themselves. These are interspersed with the missions of justice that Ice undertakes as a part of this group.
I enjoyed getting to know some of the characters better but overall I felt that the story itself was a series of episodes that alternated between sex and missions and ended very abruptly. I missed the romance that I would have liked to have seen.

A solid 3.5 stars but rounded up to 4 stars for Christine Feehan’s Vengeance Road. It’s been a while since I could say this for this author. For her series that are over 8 books, there was just world building instead of telling a couple’s story.

In Vengeance we got a couple’s story. There was no leveling up in powers or focusing on other people and relationships - there was one main couple and the family and that was it - I thought it was great! I actually liked the couple, Ice and Soliel, they were well balanced for each - strong and vulnerable. I liked the heady flirtation and the way they danced around each other at their initial meeting. Both trying to seduce each other and then both taking the blame for the seduction, that was funny. The sexy times are definitely sexy, safe and fun for both of them.

If you have read a Feehan book, the leads they more often then not have tragic, damaging past that they overcome but not with lasting effects. Soliel has led an isolated life and is in danger. The danger winds up being connected to a larger more dangerous conspiracy. Ice and his family are on a mission to stop the tragedy that was their past from happening to others.

A solid read.

Vendetta Road by Christine Feehan should be read with caution as it is a landmine of triggers. The story is dark and filled with the worst of human kind. Consider yourself warned.

Ice and his fellow Torpedo Ink members are hunting down a pedophile ring which has led them to Las Vegas. While there, Ice sees Soleil and knows instantly she is the one. Their romance is quick and dirty (seriously, this book is 5 flames for sure). Their sexy love story is woven between Soleil running from her ex-fiancee who wants to kill her, and Ice torturing some members of the pedophile ring. Ice's background (as well as the others in the club) is tragic and informs why they hunt pedophiles. The story is certainly dark due to the serious nature of the topics, but I was enthralled throughout because the mystery deepens regarding this ring of pedophiles. Vendetta Road has a touch of paranormal as well, as most/all of Feehan's stories do. The psychic abilities of the club members is fascinating and is just sort of a background to who they are; it doesn't define their character.

From Las Vegas and a quickie wedding back to the California coast, Vendetta Road delivers on the blood feud vengeance quest! Feehan does a wonderful job of deepening the characters and allowing the reader to understand the trauma of their past and how differently it affects them. Soleil could have easily been a flat character who was just naive and wealthy, a classic poor little rich girl, but Feehan doesn't leave us with that characterization. She manages to make Soleil both vulnerable and assertive. She and Ice are perfect for each other and Vendetta Road brings them the love story they deserve!

Third in the Torpedo Ink series, this story focuses on Isaak “Ice” Koval, one of the very deadly and emotionally damaged members of the same named motorcycle club whose members consist of survivors from a Russian assassin’s school run by a pedophile monster. While on a mission to rescue a young boy being auctioned off in Las Vegas, Ice sees Soleil Brodeur on the Strip. She seems to be everything Ice is not: innocent, pure, and very unaware of his dark and dangerous world.

After a violent run-in with her scheming fiancé, Soleil flees to a biker bar looking for help. Meeting a Torpedo Ink club member following of an earlier forceful incident, Soleil was offered help if she ever needed it. As soon as Ice sees Soleil again, he decides she will be his no matter the cost, or what it takes to win her over. His club brothers and sisters do their best to make that happen in a whirlwind Las Vegas style.

Soleil has spent most of her life living in hotels and traveling the world seeking adrenaline rushes believing that no one wanted her. Ice grew up in the most heinous of circumstances and is barely hanging on with the help of his club family, all of whom have the same tortured and atrocious past. They have turned tragedy into triumph by hunting international pedophiles who prey on the innocent and the lost; however, being a part of that world has its costs in terrible memories.

The violence and steamy scenes escalate in this book more so than the prior ones so be forewarned. Ice has certain proclivities because of his traumatized past while Soleil has dark fantasies that she wants played out. What the clubs deals with involving the abused children is heartbreaking in fiction but even more so because child trafficking occurs every day in real life. Perhaps the best good use of this series and story is shining a light on the horrific realities and positing what those survivors might have to do to endure and even thrive. I find the characters very compelling especially in the first two books. In this installment, the intimate parts play a bigger role and give less time for the story to develop for which I think the plot suffers; however, I am still looking forward to the next in the series.

I really, really wanted to like this book. I just didn't. I feel this book more than the previous ones is getting more and more into the MC culture and moving away from the romance. And yes, I know it is about a MC club but Ms Feehan does write romance books. There just was really not romance here. Sex yes, lust yes, romance no.

The whole story starts when trust fund orphan Soleil (after losing her only "family" a month ago, being in an abusive relationship, getting the crap beat out of her, and hearing her fiance wants to kill her) stumbles into a biker bar looking for help and scared for her life. That thought (hey I'm gonna die) just leaves her tiny little head and she decides she is going to seduce and marry the hot biker dude. WHAT! Oh, and also this quiet society lady proceeds to strip naked and have sex with said hot biker dude in front of the whole gang.

And so it continues. I really never felt a connection between the Ice and Soliel. Sexually yes. She was a very good girl who listened to everything her husband said - did I mention they got married within 12 hours of meeting. They never had to work for the relationship. It also was not on equal footing. He commanded, she obeyed, or she got punished. But, that was Ok, cause she liked the way he punished her. YUCK

If you are into voyeurism than this is the book for you. I really feel like Soleil is just there to satisfy Ice's every need and to be positioned like a doll so everyone can watch what he does to her, or what she does to him. Soleil does not have a single thought that does not revolve around Ice. I could not tell you the color of her hair or eyes, but there sure were a massive quantity of descriptions of her breasts. Yes, Soleil is basically just an object for Ice to act upon, not a partner at all.

I am not overly fond of this particular series that Christine Feehan writes. I do enjoy her other series ver much. I decided to give it another try with Vendetta Road.
I have to say that I enjoyed this book the most out of the series. Soliel is on the run ftom her boyfriend in Las Vegas, he had hit her in an effort to force her to marry him. She escapes & runs into a mc bar. She has met Lana in the ladies room of a hotel earlier. Lana is concerned about Soliel & puts her phone number in her phone in case she needs help. Ice of Torpedo Ink is in the club & immediately is drawn to her. I do not want to give too much away but they get married and then have to resolve their trust issues, her lonliness and his terrible childhood. In addition her boyfriend was part of a group that married wealthy women who then suddenly die leaving the wealthy widower behind. There are a lot of plots going on, ramping up the suspense.

I received an electronic ARC from Berkley Publishing Group through NetGalley.
Third book in this spin off series about a group of severely damaged children who survived, grew up and remained family. They've formed a Motorcycle Club and are attempting to fit in with societal norms.
Feehan has captured the violence involved in their past and current lives. The sex scenes are too much for me and I tend to gloss over those and some of the violent ones. However, her writing has returned to build a plot that holds together in this volume.
It's not my favorite of her series and there are definite plausibility holes but the characters come through as more than one-dimensional now that they've been established in the first two books.

Vendetta Road, book #3 in the Torpedo series written by Christine Feehan, was a well-written story from beginning to end. There wasn't any part of this book I didn't find enjoyable.

The plot was spot on, the chemistry between Ice and Soleil had that nice build-up when they finally got together it was orgasmic.

Vendetta Road was just so amazing. One of the best stories told in the series. When it comes to this series, I am enjoying the ride immensely.

"She chased his demons away."

I have no words to express how much I love this series. I discovered this author by word of mouth, but the praise was about a paranormal series she'd written. That's not usually my thing, so I just filed it away in the back of my head until I accidentally ran across the Torpedo Ink series. I was totally unprepared for how good her writing is, IT BLEW MY MIND!

I can't give you specific details about the members of Torpedo Ink, because their story is so incredible and deserves to be learned first hand. Prepare to be shocked and enraged and ready to join in the chaos that is the world they live in. A dark and dangerous world that is also full of love and laughter. I'm sure if anyone was watching me they'd think I was bipolar because I'd be laughing one minute, ranting the next and fanning myself soon after. Going from happy to hot to hotter. 🔥

The club family is beyond tight, they are so close they can communicate without words. The men are so deliciously alpha you'll be wanting one of your own, trust me. And the female members are badass as well. Whoever manages to win one of their hearts will be lucky indeed. I can't wait for that to happen. I'm completely addicted to this series. So much so that I might even be tempted to try some paranormal if this is what I have to look forward to. The line forms here...

It was a fun quick read. Ice and Soleil are a couple that you are rooting for in this book. I enjoyed getting to know Ice and what he brings to the club. I did find the parts of the book jarring. When they go on their mission to help Soleil get out from under her former fiance just did not seem to fit into the book. It was almost like it was a different book. Otherwise really enjoyed it.

Christine Feehan will always be one of my favorite authors. She writes the hardest, sexiest, alpha-hole heroes ever. I'm addicted to her writing and always will be. However, her writing is very formulaic and that becomes a hinderance when reading sometimes. Literarily, the first half of this book is one day. This was a great book but it wasn't my favorite.

I used to read Christine Feehan back in my days of buying paperbacks on a Saturday morning (I'd buy about 8 per week) and really enjoyed all of her stories.  Then I got an e-reader and found the world of indie writers and drifted away from traditionally published because of price and variety, so when I saw Vendetta Road on Netgalley, I thought that it was time for a return to a past author and see what was new.  Turns out A LOT.  The Feehan I read was not as explicit, something that I had gotten used to with indie books which had fewer restrictions.  Let's just say, I will be checking in with Ms. Feehan more regularly.

Vendetta Road is the 3rd in the Torpedo Ink series though you don't have to have read the previous two (I hadn't) to get a handle on what is happening.  Torpedo Ink MC is made of members who are not quite average.  In the beginning, I believed them to mercenaries of sorts but they are much more than that.

Ice, Vendetta's hero is a jaded man who is knocked for a loop when he sees a woman on the street who captures his attention like no other.  He loses sight of her while tracking a guy but fate brings her to the bar where he and his brethren are later that night.  Soleil is the poor little rich girl whose parents died when she was young and has been guided by her lawyer until his untimely death.  Now she is trying to give rid of the slime but he is far more nefarious than she originally thought.  Finding Ice and Torpedo Ink is a seemingly destiny driven happenstance that fills both of their empty lives.

First off, this is not for those who prefer their romance with a fade to black or euphemism'ed sex scenes.  Ice and Soleil hit to charts HIGH on the sexual chemistry scale immediately and don't care for long introductions.  Ice, having been brought up in a highly sexualized way (you learn throughout the story but more toward middle-end about the members of Torpedo Ink's origins), relate to the world the way he was taught. That he can feel beyond that is a revelation, a redemption.  Soleil was sheltered.  Her social skillset was learned via boarding school and minimal interpersonal relationships so Ice's actions and her own may seem off to readers, as the story unveils it makes more sense.

The story has a good pace and balance between action and interaction and the side characters add to the palate of the tale nicely.  There is an interwoven story that began with book 1 and runs through the series, though it is explained well in Vendetta, and it is interesting enough that I am going back and getting books 1 & 2.  There is a paranormal element that becomes clearer as you get deeper into the story that is a great touch to make this MC just that much "different".

Vendetta Road by Christine Feehan is the 3rd book in her Torpedo Ink series. Brief refresher for this series: At the end of the Sea Haven series, Blythe married Viktor (Czar). Czar is the president of Torpedo Ink, and together with the men and women he brought with him to Sea Haven they built their Torpedo Ink MC club in Casper, which is close to Sea Haven. Each of these members have suffered terrible abuse in their childhoods in Russia, being forced to all become lethal assassins; each still very much trying to find the light inside their darkness. They are all determined to protect each other, and also work secretly to save children they have become part of human trafficking, as well as pedophiles.

In Vendetta Road, the Torpedo Ink Club is in Las Vegas to attend Steele and Bree’s (previous book heroes) wedding. Ice and Storm and others from the club, are following people they suspect to be part of a group kidnapping and sexually abusing young children. Ice, our hero, notices a girl being manhandled by her boyfriend, and has to stop himself from interfering, as he needed to concentrate on his mission; Ice did feel some kind of strange attraction toward that girl.

Soleil Brodeur, our heroine, is a very wealthy woman, having inherited everything from her deceased parents. Soleil is upset because her boyfriend lost his temper and beat her up because she did not want to marry him. She overhears the boyfriend talking to others, and realizes that she is in danger, and they have plans to eventually take her money and kill her. Soleil manages to run away, and she ends up looking for help from a girl she just met, Lana (one of the Torpedo Ink members); and enters a bar where she sees that they belong to the same club. Ice automatically sees her enter, and is surprised that it is the same girl who caught his attention, and he immediately introduces himself to her, noticing her bruises. The chemistry between them sizzled immediately, as they both were attracted to each other.

As Soleil begins to spend all her time with Ice, she learns more about how all of the Torpedo Ink members were trained to be assassins, as well as sexual slaves. Her relationship with Ice, brings her fully into the club, whose loyalty to each other, will have them go through any lengths to find those responsible for trying to kill her.

What follows is an exciting and violent adventure, as well as a highly sexual erotic insta romance between two people who ended up needing each other. I thought the story line was terrific, but I did have mixed feelings. I enjoy sexy romances, but as I have said before, I want the story to be in the forefront, with the sex scenes as part of the story. In Vendetta Road, it seems like every scene was sexual, with the story line just thrown in here and there.

I love all the members of the Torpedo Ink family, including the female members (Lana & Alena), and the ladies who become part of them (Blythe, Anya, Bree and now Soleil). I love the concept of this wonderful group that are loyal together, and determined to save the abused children. The previous books were also very steamy, but the storyline remained in the forefront, which did change in Vendetta Road.
Vendetta Road is a dark romantic sexy story, that is also very emotional, as we continue to learn more about what they all had to endure in Russia. This is a great series, but again I would like the story in the forefront.
