Gripping from the first page. You read waiting for the next Wednesday to find out what will happen each week. Worth reading if you like suspense and dramatic events.

Wow! This books grabs you and will not let go!! I could not put this book down!! It is so fast paced, has you guessing until the very end and is a rollercoaster of a ride. I cannot praise this enough!

It starts on a Wednesday and then continues every Wednesday...Alice's nightmare that is. Alice is a journalist for a local paper when she receives a very unsettling and upsetting phone call and from that point onwards her life is changed. There are so many twists in this book and I was literally suspecting everyone by the end. Although I guessed the reason early on I didn't guess who it was which was great!

Will most definitely be looking at reading more books by Teresa.

Would highly recommend to everyone to read this book. It's fab!

A fantastic psychological thriller!! Driscoll leads the reader through a great story in which any of the male characters could be the stalker and unveiling at the end - the least suspected!!!

Phenomenal book, Great psychological thriller told in alternating view points. You will find yourself guessing a lot and being wrong, there are tons of twist and turns. Page turning, Highly recommend. My first Teresa Driscoll book.

Imagine every Wednesday receiving threats from an unidentified stalker. The first time it happens to Alice, she writes it off as a one-off. But then it happens on another Wednesday, and she realizes other things have happened on the previous Wednesdays, and she didn't realize they were related. She begins to dread Wednesdays. She enlists the help of the police and a local private investigator, but there is no clue as to the identity of her stalker. They eventually unearth a secret she has covered. Could that hold the key?
I've read others by this author and enjoyed them, so I was pleased to see this one come up available and got a copy from NetGalley. It didn't disappoint! It was a quick page-turner! The only drawback is that though you understood why Wednesdays were significant, and why Alice is the target, the connection was a stretch.

This one has it all - betrayal, stalkers, silent phone calls and a big finish. You will be taken down a road of deceit with this one! It is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. I like how the stalker is portrayed as a small boy. Clever way of getting to know the character!

This is the first book that I have read from this author. I enjoyed it and look forward to reading more of her books. This is a well-written thriller/mystery with plenty of twists. there were a few parts of this book that I did find a little slow, however it did keep my interest until the end. Definitely a recommended read.

I really enjoy Teresa Driscoll’s writing. Although I was hoping for a more poignant a-ha moment when you find out the dark secret between Beth, Sally and Carol. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a sad one. But I was just under the impression it was going to be bigger and badder. I will say I had the “bad guy” wrong in this one. I did figure it out towards the end, but my first guess was simply wrong. This book kept my interest throughout and I did like it. I would give it a solid 3.5 stars. The writing was solid and the storyline was good. I’m looking forward to reading Teresa’s next book!

I found Teresa Driscoll's I Will Make You Pay to be entertaining. I was interested to learn that Ms Driscoll had experienced stalking first hand, which made the heroine's inner dialogue just a bit more real. I was a bit disappointed by the character portrait of the heroine, though I know her flaws led to several of the plot points and set up a lot oft he scenes. The ending seemed a little rushed, or perhaps too convenient, as I was easily able to discover the identity of the stalker. I would read more from the author.

I read Teresa Driscoll's other book I Am Watching You, which I enjoyed a bit more. I guess with such high ratings I was expecting more and it just never delivered. The whole premise of the book is great- the protagonist receiving different threats every Wednesday. However, we know fairly quickly why Wednesday is the day, and for me, the connection to the protagonist and the villain was clear early on. I was expecting more shock value, but instead, the book went on other tangents which other characters related to the protagonist and the loose ends don't really get tied up and are just pointless red herrings. One character I loved the seemed to be the only one that had the most character development was the private investigator. His relationship to his daughter and his struggles with that, the eccentric man he helps get connected to his family- I loved this character.
Overall, this wasn't a bad read. It just wasn't my absolute favorite.

I will make you pay is the first book by Teresa Driscoll that I read and I really enjoyed it. It was the perfect read at the moment, something to keep my mind busy. It was an intriguing and interesting thriller and it had me guessing and making hypotheses; spoiler: I was wrong.
The pace, the writing, and the overall plot were good and as I said, I enjoyed reading the book. However, I never connected with Alice. I thought she was a little bit incoherent like she was super worried and afraid of certain things (and it was normal, considering) but then she wanted to go out and kept trusting people. I don’t know I just did not like that and even though I did not hate her, I did not fully like the character. I liked Matthew, though. What I did not like was the different narration, Alice in the first person and the rest in third, it was confusing at first.
The ending, while unexpected wasn’t completely amazing, the plot lost strength, at least for me and that made me not love the book. It was OK, and a nice thriller and a good start for Teresa Driscoll’s books, though.

I had a hard time getting into this book so I did do a lot of skimming. I did like the ending though.

I think I have a disconnect with this author, as it's not the normal style of reading for me.

Phew! I am not lying when I say that I could not put this book down. I was hooked from the start and the short chapters had me thinking "just one more" before tending to my mom-duties. 😅 No worries, no children were neglected, but my sleep was another story.

Alice is a journalist at a small newspaper, when on a day like any other, she receives a threatening phone call at work. Was she targeted specifically or did she just happen to be the unlucky one to answer? Come to think of it, there have been other instances during the past couple of weeks that maybe she shouldn't have dismissed so easily. 🤔 Hellooooo stalker. 😰 While the police are taking their sweet time to figure out why she is being targeted, Alice's boyfriend decides to hire a private investigator and nip this thing in the bud before things gets worse. Oh, but they still do. I mean, what did you expect? Is Alice innocent in all of this or is her past finally catching up with her?

I'd like to point out how much I appreciated the author not going into detail about the abuse a certain character experienced. 🙌

Interesting premise based on three actual phone calls Teresa Driscoll received when she started her journalism work. A little slow moving at the beginning, the book became more intriguing when the main character's past is revealed and as a reader I became more interested in finding out why Alice was being stalked.
The story is told from three perspectives with lots of twists, but a predictable ending.

I enjoyed this book - but wasn’t totally gripped. It was a good story & well written if a little predictable. I didn’t really like (or indeed dislike) the lead character. She was too bland & I couldn’t summon any empathy for her. Worth reading but not particularly memorable.

Another great novel from Teresa Driscoll and just as gripping and enthralling as her previous ones. This is a tale of a young woman who receives a menacing phone call at work which then develops into a frightening and escalating stalking of her as well as threats to her and her family. The suspense keeps you totally hooked, I didn’t guess the identity of the stalker and was shocked when it was revealed. An excellent read.

I Will Make You Pay, by Teresa Driscoll is thriller about Alice, a journalist and her stalker, who only makes contact with her on Wednesdays.

The story is told by 3 narrators; Alice, a PI named Matthew, and the stalker who is identified as Him. These narrators rotate chapters throughout the book which I felt helped to provide more detail to the story. Teresa Driscoll kept you guessing the identity of the stalker by leaving many clues throughout, without really giving anything away until the bitter end.

I fee everyone who enjoys the genre if phsycological thriller, will find this book to be a worthwhile read.

I absolutely adored this book. It kept me reading into the night, excellent pace, well plotted and with fab characters. I’ll be keeping an eye out for more by this author.
