Oh my goodness. What a wonderful and delightful collection of novellas. Please don't ask me to name a favorite, there is no one I could pick just one. I will say, I wanted to read All Hearts Come Home For Christmas first because I love reading this type of collections. It's a great way to be introduced to, new to me authors. The other reason, Sarah M. Eden has resonantly become one of my favorite people to read. When I saw that she was one of the writers featured, I couldn't wait to get started. I was very excited to realize I enjoyed Anita Stansfield, Esther Hatch, and Joanna Barker as well. These are some of the most endearing stories I have had the privilege of reading. You will fall in love with the characters, they are the type of people you want for your good friend or neighbor. You will not want the stories to end, getting so wrapped up in the expertly described locations. The only thing that made it a little easier for me was, I knew I still had one more to read. In case I wasn't clear, I Loved this book. I need to say thank you, I received a copy of this book from Covenant Communications through NetGalleys. The opinions expressed in this book are my own.

I'll admit, I grabbed this book to read the story of the Dowager Duchess of Kielder, since I am an avid Sarah Eden fan. And that story did not disappoint, it was very satisfying. But what surprised me the most was how much I enjoyed the third story in the book, Tis the Season to be Daring by Esther Hatch - that story had me laughing out loud again and again. The other stories were fun too, but that one was surprisingly delightful! So worth the read! My first Christmas book for this year...

3,5 stars

These are clean stories so not really my thing. I enjoyed them in the following order 4,1,3,2. The Heart of Christmas (2) didn't really work for me as a romance. It was heavy on the interaction of the heroine with the stroppy teenage daughter and the aunt. For me the hero didn't really feature and there was a slight hint of religion which again isn't my thing!

I enjoyed The Christmas Dress (4) the most.

If you are into just kisses then this christmas anthology will be a winner.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

All Hearts Come Home for Christmas

This a wonderful Christmas novella collection! I requested to review it because I love Sarah M Eden and Joanna Barker’s books. I was thrilled to find a new to me author that I want to read the rest of her books now!

In Christmas at Falstone Castle, I was brought back to the lives of everyone from Sarah M Eden’s Seeking Persephone and a few new ones since then! I think you could easily read this novella as a standalone but it was extra fun to go back to Persephone and Adam’s lives. I really liked Adam’s dry sense of humor and it’s fun to see how he has gotten softer through the years. This story focused on Adam’s mother and it was so satisfying to see her heart-touching Christmas story.

In The Heart of Christmas by Anita Stansfield, it was a wonderful story, but I had trouble connecting with how the story was told instead of shown and while the heroine really was a great person, she came off a bit know-it-all and a little to perfect to be believable for me. The story itself was interesting and a wonderful Christmas story.

‘Tis the Season to be Daring by Esther Hatch was my favorite story! I absolutely loved this fun novella and plan to read everything by this author as soon as I can! Miss Davenport schemes up a way to avoid unwanted suitors and enlists the help of Lord Hawthorne. I had so much fun with their shenanigans and the characters sense of humor!

Joanna Barker’s The Christmas Dress is the last story in this wonderful collection and it was a romantic little Christmas story that started so entertaining and kept my interest throughout.

I give this collection 5 stars and think it is a wonderful, fun Christmas collection, that is well worth the read!

I received an ecopy of this collection, all thoughts are my own.

This was such a delightful collection of stories with Christmas as the backdrop!

Christmas At Falstone Castle - by Sarah M. Eden, was fun with all of the main characters from her previous books about the Lancaster family - it seemed familiar - like greeting old friends. I love the sweet love story between the 'more mature' characters! It was a pleasure! And the healing that takes place between mother and son is beautiful

The Heart of Christmas - by Anita Stansfield, was a first read for me by this author. It was a nice, unique story and well written. Great characters, each with emotional issues. A little surprise at the end was really sweet!

'Tis the Season To Be Daring - by Ester Hatch, was undoubtedly my favorite of the four stories! I LOVE Ester's sense of humor and her ability to write engaging, witty banter, and oh so sweet romance!! The chemistry between Elizabeth and Charles is quite sparky and you just can't wait till they figure out they love each other!
This story was so enjoyable - I only wanted it to go on.... Just loved it!

The Christmas Dress - by Joanna Barker, was an enjoyable story! Jacob and Nell are instantly drawn to each other. Circumstances keep throwing them together. Well written with great characters and sweet romance. I also liked how Jacob's withdrawn sister comes out of her shell and even has a few witty remarks about Jacob and Nell getting together.

All of these stories were great and left me with warm fuzzy feelings - some even a little swoony...
Well worth the time spent reading - I highly recommend this collection!

I kept hearing about this book and I'm glad that I was able to read it through Net Galley.

It's always fun revisiting characters you know so well and love like in Sarah M. Eden's book, Christmas at Falstone Castle. It was a sweet second chance at love story by someone I had never really thought of when it came to the Dangerous Duke. It helped shed light on the shadows of his life before he met Persephone.

Anita Stansfield's 'A Heart for Christmas' was really believable and a slow to strangers to lovers romance. Everyone's hearts were mended, figuratively and literally.

Esther Hatch adds the perfect humor to her books to keep it fun and fresh. I loved this take, a semi-prequel to 'The Roses of Feldstone'.

And with Joanna Barker's 'The Christmas Dress' I wish I could've seen what the dress looked like! And I loved the epilogue at the end.

I did think it was interesting that two stories involved seamstresses, its not a normal thought I'd make when it comes to a Regency romance at Christmastime but they were different enough that I don't think it mattered. All the authors did a wonderful job in such a short span of words by creating real characters dealing with broken hearts, loneliness, forgiveness, etc that it was heart-warming.

It's never too early for Christmas, right?! And you just know that all these authors will be amazing to read!

I was so excited to read Christmas at Falstone Castle. The Duke of Kielder is one of my favorite characters from Sarah Eden. The love story of his mom was so sweet!

The Heart of Christmas is a sweet story about lost, and found, love and healing hearts.

I love romantic stories where the two main characters have no thoughts to love, but through wit and witty dialogue and circumstances, they always fall in love. Tis the Season to Be Daring is my kind of story!

A Christmas dress and a romance! What could be better!

Thanks to netgalley for the early read!

This was a great Christmas collection! To me, the standout was the third one - 'Tis the Season to be Daring by Esther Hatch. It was both hilarious and romantic (and it made me want to go back and re-read The Roses of Feldstone). I also really loved Joanna Barker's The Christmas Dress...I'm a sucker for a snowed-in scene. :)

Oh, and of course, I loved revisiting Adam and Persephone in Sarah M. Eden's story!

How could I pass up reading this book when it had the Dangerous Duke's mother in it? I've been wondering about her story since the very beginning, and this story will not disappoint. I love getting more insights into this family, and the other families in the series that I love. Eden seldom disappoints and Christmas at Falstone Castle will leave you with happy sighs and a smile on your face. It will also leave you with a desire to reread almost all the series to recall all those great moments this story brings back to mind.

The Heart of Christmas was kind of of miss for me. It was pretty slow moving, and while it was a sweet clean story, I thought that as a novella it should move a little faster. I also didn't really get the relationship between Addie and Theo. I loved the relationship between Addie and the daughter and grandmother. Those moved along and were believable. Theo was just....I had a hard time getting a read on his personality, and he seemed a little bland, and the romance, while hinted at the entire story, still seemed to come out of nowhere.

Tis the Season to be Daring made me laugh and smile and want to kick Elizabeth all at once. I loved Roses of Feldstone and getting to know Lord Hawthorne made me smile. Everything that was hinted at in Roses of Feldstone was explained, and I loved every minute of it. I enjoyed everything that Elizabeth got into, and I got frustrated at her lack of seeing Lord Hawthorne and his intentions. This is definitely something that I will be reading again and again.

A feel good story is found in The Christmas Dress by Joanna Barker. The pace was believable, the friendships between Nell and Jacobs sister was lovely, and Jacob was a great lead. I enjoyed learning about dressmaking and who doesn't love a snow storm that gets the main characters together? Needing some holiday cheer? The Christmas Dress is not to be missed.

These stories are always the perfect length. They give you just enough character development to truly care about the characters but short enough to read within an evening. I especially enjoyed the stories that flowed with the previously written series. It feels like revisiting old friends when so many characters are reintroduced.

A fun collection of Christmas stories. I especially loved the story Christmas at Falstone Castle. Adam and Persephone are one of my favorite literary couples. It was a great glimpse into their lives. "Tis the Season to be Daring was a cute Regency romance. While trying to bend societies rules with a pretend relationship, the main characters find themselves falling for each other. All four stories are charming Christmas stories.

A great collection of clean, holiday romance stories!

I was provided with an ARC of this book by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I'm glad I decided to read this book. I generally don't read much anthologies. I like stories that are longer. But I really love all these authors and couldn't resist. This is a great compilation of Christmas Spirit and finding a little happiness and love! I can tell you that I did shed a tear or two while reading each of these stories. That shows how much they affected me!

My only complaint or something is that I was sad to read the Dangerous Duke's wife's delivery in here. I was hoping to read it in the next story. If I hadn't picked it up or that I got some warning about who Sarah Eden was writing about, I might have missed it and I so love the Dangerous Duke!

If you like short stories, holiday anthologies, Christmas Spirit, traditions, dressmaker's, finding love than this might be for you!

If you like historical romance with a Christmas flavor, you'll love this collection.

Christmas at Falstone Castle · Sarah M. Eden:
It was really fun to catch up with the Duke of Kielder, his family and friends, and to know more of why his relationship with his mother was so strained. The ending was lovely.

The Heart of Christmas · Anita Stansfield
This had the potential to be a really great story with interesting characters, but the execution was lacking (too much telling, not enough showing).

’Tis the Season to Be Daring · Esther Hatch
One of my favorites in this collection. I loved the way their relationship started and how it developed from there.

The Christmas Dress · Joanna Barker
Another of my favorites. Very sweet story. I loved the characters and how they knew each other before.

I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

What can I say about this? Other than I absolutely loved it! The book is made up of four Regency era stories set at Christmas.

Christmas at Falstone Castle by Sarah M. Eden
I loved the characters in this and since reading have found there are previous books including Adam the Duke of Kielder which I now want to read. Adam is grumpy but loves his family fiercely and that showed throughout. I can't wait to read to read more about him.
This was such an easy read and truly heart warming!

The Heart of Christmas by Anita Stansfield
The story of Addie, a lady who has found herself stuck in a job she hates but is soon rewarded with an excellent opportunity. On meeting her new employer and family Addie goes out of her way to inject some happiness in to the home of those who have suffered a great loss. But the family aren't the only ones to benefit from her hard work! Such a sweet story.

’Tis the Season to Be Daring by Esther Hatch
This was definitely my favourite of the four! The characters are fabulous especially Lord Hawthorne. This one made me laugh and I really warmed to the story. Miss Davenport attempts to escape the London season or more precisely her mother's attempts to find her husband. Turns out she's perfectly capable of doing that herself.

The Christmas Dress by Joanna Barker

Again another with sweet characters especially Nell. I was surprised this one had one of those characters you can't help but dislike but she gets her come uppance!

All of them are perfect for a quick read. I read the whole thing at once snuggled on the sofa with a blanket. I'd definitely like to read more like this especially at Christmas time.

Thank you to NetGalley and Covenant
Communications, for the review copy in exchange for my review.

Reading this Christmas collection transported me, at least for a little while, from the sweltering heat of a deep South summer. Four authors, four wonderful and heartwarming Christmas stories to help you feel that special Christmas spirit.

CHRISTMAS AT FALSONE CASTLE by Sarah M. Eden--I only discovered Sarah Eden's books within the last few years and haven't had a chance to read about the Lancaster family, but they've appeared in some of the Jonquil books I've read. This novella is from Adam's mothers point of view, and gives us more on the background of the infamous Duke of Kielder. Why he's the way he is. Once you get to know him he's not really so 'Dangerous'. I loved Adam's view of having mistletoe in the house, and his mother gets a happy ending too. This one will give you all the Christmas feels.

THE HEART OF CHRISTMAS by Anita Stansfield--A sweet story about a seamstress and a banker who meet when he needs to have a button reattached to his coat. Theo hiring Addie to help with his household brings long awaited healing to a family. I loved how the broken heart ornaments were repaired like Addie helped repair the hearts of Theo, Marla, and Becky. This is such a sweet Christmas story.

’TIS THE SEASON TO BE DARING by Esther Hatch--This story had so many fun elements. Elizabeth Davenport and her schemes--to be daring enough to miss out on the balls, but not so daring as to ruin her reputation made me almost laugh aloud. I loved when Lord Hawthorne (Charles) taught her to drive a carriage through Hyde Park. This was a fun fake-relationship-turns-to-love story.

THE CHRISTMAS DRESS by Joanna Barker--Not only is this a second chance romance, but Nell and Jacob are not on the same rung of the social ladder. They have a funny meet-cute when Nell's hat gets in a tree by the brisk wind. This is another lovely Christmas story of a family in need of healing. I loved Nell's attitude about life and her kindness towards Jacob's sister, Alice.

This is a wonderful collection to give you all the Christmas feelings. Thanks to NetGalley and Covenant Communications for my copy. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are mine.
