Nothing Else But You by Elle Wright is the story of Gio and Natalia.
Gio has friends, but he is a tortured sole that wants to communicate with someone where he doesn't actually have to exchange to much more. Natalia too is a tortured sole who also seeks the to communicate without having the baggage of more. So they both find the Letter Club where they can communicate anonymously. But the more they communicate the more they are both drawn to the other until Gio wants to find and claim her as his. This was a different take on meeting of finding someone that you can be with and love. Although neither went there really for those goals that is what they found. The book did pick up in speed once they meet. Enjoyed their story.

The Letter Club seems to be a good way of talking to people without all the exposure of social media. It gives the writers the protection of anonymity which is ideal if you don’t want to be noticed but need a way of expressing yourself. I totally feel in love with this book, Gio is a dreamand so is his girl. We get to know them through their letters and want them to get on in real life despite all the possible problems and obstacles. My new favourite author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Nothing Else But You is an interesting debut novel by Elle Wright, which highlights the impact of social media and a budding relationship between two strangers. I liked the characters and the author’s direction for this story, unfortunately I did feel that it jumped dramatically from one aspect to something entirely different a little too quickly. Overall, it was a decent read, if maybe a tad long and repetitive.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley.

Nothing Else But You was an unique read.. The characters were well-developed. The book was easy to follow and read. I'll definitely read more by this author.

Blurb and cover were great but I stopped at 60%. I felt it was a little too long and a lot of the plot was lost when the two MCs finally meet face to face.

I loved the beginning of the story. Their exchange of letters was cute and funny and I could definitely feel their chemistry in their easy banter and frankness with each other. The insta-love wasn't too unbelievable but the non-stop sex that happens the minute they see each other just felt out of place and way to early in their thus far, anonymous relationship. The hacking skills of the heroine also was just dumped into the story and how she came to those skills wasn't the least be believable.

Overall a good read just not my kind of romance. I think a re-edit would definitely help in the long run. The idea has merit but the execution wasn't as strong.

I loved the idea behind this book. Rather than meeting in person or over the internet as so many people seem to do these days, the main characters join an anonymous letter-writing group. They can't give away any information that identifies them, but of course, this gives them more opportunity to be open and honest than they might otherwise be. Through the course of the letters, they fall for one another and pick up enough clues to track one another down.
I really liked the way that this story played out. Once they meet, things change and it quickly becomes more like a traditional romance. I would say that it perhaps happened a little too quickly and I think more could have been made of the letter writing, although I understand why it wasn't. Even so, I liked this 'old fashioned' approach to it all and it made the instant love/lust when they finally do meet a little bit more believable than it can be in some romance books.
There is a lot more going on in this book, with both of our characters having quite a dramatic back story and life. They work well together and there's certainly plenty of chemistry between them. I'm not sure if this is the start of a series, with more characters meeting this way? Obviously, if that is the case, then it's not likely to be a series in the usual sense as obviously, it's likely to be strangers that meet via letters. Having said that, I did wonder if the single cop that they are friendly with didn't seem quite interested in the idea. I guess that I'll have to wait and see. Overall, this was a good read and I really enjoyed it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This book is so awesome. It looks like its a debut book and it was so wonderfully written I am just so impressed. Now I went into this story pretty blind and I think thats why I loved it so much so I am not going to really tell you what this book is about because it is better experienced than if I share some parts of it.

This story is about a club called the letter club. Its a secure website that matches people with letter writters and its done by the US mail so sometimes it takes weeks for a letter to reach each other. This story features:
M who is 20 and lives in Oregon and lives in an obscure small town. She writes to G who lives in the Boston area and goes to an ivy league college and who is 19.

Both lead a very different and interesting life and they have some really fun letters between them. While they both are very young, they are also very mature and I loved watching their friendship grow into something more thru letters.

Eventually they meet and thats when the book gets hot but also they are so adorable together and are so there for each other. This book was so much fun, think of roller coaster with curves and high points and moments of intenseness.

This story has a mafia don connection but it is very slight and I dont want to spoil those details. There are no guns blazing or anyone dying. It is very light on Mafia. I actually hate Mafia stories so the connection threw me at first but its a very minor connection and is not a major part of the story.

When I saw the blurb I was really intrigued by the plot, since nowadays everything is so focused on social media and we forget more and more that just a couple of years ago we would still write letters and have a more personal connection to each other. I think that the author's approach to tell this story was unique and fresh, since she starts the story by basically showing the reader the letters between these two characters, which I enjoyed reading. But what happened next, and I don't know, if this is this authors debut book, was that
the story abruptly changed course. One minute these two characters are writing these letters, having obviously never met in person before and the next they both fell in love with each other. That emotion came, at least to me, completely out of the blue. It went from zero to hundred in a flash. And that's why I think that the author could've spent more time building up the emotions and the story, so that when they did happened they would be believable. The same with the rest of the plot in the sense that the flow of the story could've been more controlled and not cut from one scene to the next. That being said, it's not a bad story and while I did enjoy reading about the characters journey, it's just not that greatly executed. I wished there could've been less day to day showing and more focus on the potential that this story had to show.
So all in all, did I love the story? Not really but I would still recommend it to others since they might enjoy it more than me. For me this one was sadly just not my cut of tea.
