Turn Around Ranch is such an amazing place that I can't wait to visit again!!

I loved how determined Jess was to help her daughter and was willing to do whatever it takes and make any sacrifice to make it happen. Wade, while seeming to just be gruff and unyielding, has the warmest heart and kindest spirit.

I loved watching the kids get the help they all needed in this peaceful place. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to Turn Around!!

I've read a few books by this author now, and I've yet to be disappointed. There is so much story going on, it's hard to believe it's just one book. It's told from different perspectives, more than just the lead male and lead female, but it's not confusing at all. I really enjoyed that there was so much going on, it kept from having any lull to it, it was hard to put down. This book has just about everything you want in a romance. There were some funny parts, along with sweet and sexy, and a little heartbreaking. Although it's fiction, you know there are situations in real life like this, and worse. There was a scene with Wade and Austin that just about broke my heart. For any mothers out there, I'm sure you will shed a tear or two with some of the scenes between Jess and Chloe. It's emotional, but balanced, it's not a tear jerker. There are plenty of warm and fuzzy feelings too, just a well rounded cowboy romance

The inviting first romance in the Turn Around Ranch series from Madsen (Just One of the Groomsmen) finds the passion hidden in an inordinately obstinate cowboy. Single mom Jessica Cook drags her daughter, Chloe, to Colorado’s Turn Around Ranch, a correctional ranch for troubled teens. Though the ranch is at capacity, the staff agrees to admit Chloe if Jessica will fill the long-vacant position of ranch cook. Determined to help her daughter, Jessica agrees, though her cooking experience is limited. As Jessica’s culinary skills improve and Chloe warms to the horses, Jessica spars with cowboy Wade Dawson, whose family owns the ranch. Romantic tension is a constant between Jessica and Wade as she manages to crack some of his hardened exterior to reveal his kind and caring nature. Their sweet, sensual romance and the mother-daughter relationship between Jessica and Chloe provide the heart of this earnest novel. Readers are sure to be taken by Madsen’s genuine, down-to-earth characters.
I thought th is book was a cute book.

4.25⭐

This was a wonderful, enjoyable story. That introduces readers to the Turn Around Ranch and single mum Jess, who at the end of her tether arrives with daughter Chloe desperate for help, but without a place, she manages to wrangle her way in claiming she can cook, filling a job that has been open for months.

And what follows is an engaging, well composed, nicely paced story. That has a wonderful mixture of humour and sweetness. As well as a little heat, not to mention a lovely heartwarming quality. As issues are brought up and explored, and the relationship between mum and daughter mended.

Furthermore, I really loved how well-rounded and varied all of these characters were, and I enjoyed the development of each friendship and romance. And the fact that Chloe too got a happily ever after was just super cute. As it helped make this story that much more delightful and rewarding to read, and I would happily recommend it to others.

I haven’t read a cowboy story in awhile and this one reminded me why I enjoy them so much. The sweetness and the old fashioned feel made me very smiley.

Jess and Wade’s love story felt very genuine. Both a little jaded and with their own baggage the author gave me a “real” romance - bumps and all. The ranch setting and the teens added a fantastic element to the read.

Definitely recommend.

Everybody needs a second chance!

Everybody needs a second chance especially Jessica Cook’s daughter Chloe after she got involved with a group of friends at school that are trouble especially the boy she is dating. Jessica told the staff at Turn Around Ranch that she was a cook even though she wasn’t just so she could get the help that Chloe needed. Wade Dawson owned and ran Turn Around Ranch with his family and staff but he tried to turn them down but he knew that they needed a cook so his mother could take it easier.

Jessica had a trial by fire learning how to cook in large amounts using the internet and television but reading her kitchen problems is entertaining. Jessica and Wade weren’t sure about each other since they had been hurt before but they slowly became friends first.

Now I want stories about the brothers!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was excited about reading a cowboy story from Cindi Madsen and she didn't disappoint, this story is sweet, emotional and compelling story, I truly enjoyed it.
Both of the main characters, Jess and Wade, were really well written, they have their backgrounds and troubles but it was very easy to relate and connect with them, from the start there's a spark between them so you just wanted to keep reading and she what was gonna happen next.
There's romance, laughter, some drama and heart in this story. And this is a standalone but I look forward to reading the next book in this series! I'd absolutely recommend it.

I had to leave for work this morning with only a handful of pages left and all day all I wanted was to run home and be reunited with this book. I was all in with this story from the first sentence. I felt for Jessica instantly and her determination to do whatever necessary for her daughter. Even with his gruff stubbornness I could not help but be instantly smitten with Wade who also wants to do what is best for his family. There is not a false note to be found in their story as they get to know each other and we get to know all of the inhabitants of the ranch. I am so glad that this is the start of a series because I loved Wade's family and want more about them all. I loved reading about the ranch and the work they do to help troubled teens. The next book cannot come out soon enough for me.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book has one f-bomb and a couple of sex scenes but neither thing overwhelms the story. If sex in books isn't your jam, it is easily skipped over. I would still recommend this book because the sex is just a minor addition to a really great story. This book starts a new series but it totally stands alone and comes to a very satisfying happily ever after.

Disclaimer: this review is full of gushing, over-use of the words “loved” and “adored” and I cannot – and will not - change that. These are my honest opinions and I loved everything about this story. I'm really not sorry.

Cindi Madsen is quickly becoming one of my go-to authors because her books just keep getting better. I have read about 175 books in 2019 and this story is in the top three of all of the books I've read, I loved it that much. It was so well written that I started to get anxiety when I hit about the 80% mark because I knew the story was coming to an end and that I would have to wait forever for the next book in the series to be released. I cannot remember the last time that before I even finished the story, I was already anxiously awaiting the next books in the series. That so rarely happens. I really, really did not want to leave the Turn Around Ranch. Even after I finished it, I found myself thinking about these characters and the ranch and praying that Brady and Tanya wind up together.

I thought the premise of this story was fantastic - Jessica's utter devotion to her daughter Chloe, and her determination to make Chloe's life less difficult than hers, no matter the cost to her personally, made me root for Jess even more than I had anticipated. Jess was a hot mess, but she was totally my kind of hot mess and I just loved her for that. If you prefer perfect, shiny, unrealistic heroines, this is not your book. If you can identify with imperfections, wild desperation to help someone that one loves making one do stupid things, and a hilariously snarky outlook on life, Jess is your girl. Our Hero Wade was a Dudley Doright of a cowboy, but that just made him super sexy and made the way that he fell for Jessica when it was against his own personal rules even better. I also loved the way that Wade loved his family so unashamedly. His chat with Aiden toward the end of the book was one of my favorite parts of the whole entire story. So. Much. Love.

This book also had a lot of side characters, but it all flowed so perfectly that they never overwhelmed the story and they were all fantastic. The Dawson family was incredibly wonderful and I absolutely loved the way that they built their family, and how much they all honestly loved each other. Liza and her brood were also delightful. Unexpectedly, I also fell in love with Chloe. Reading about her anxiety made me want to hug her and tell her that she's not alone.

I LOVE Ms. Madsen's writing style, and especially her sense of humor. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well-written book about lovable characters, or to anyone who likes to laugh while they read. You will not be disappointed in this book.

A Cowboy Never Quits is a fabulous western romance by Cindi Madsen. Ms. Madsen has given readers a well-written book. I love the characters in this story, they're awesome. Jessica's daughter has landed in trouble and she's determined to get her a place at Turn Around Ranch. So she takes the cook job at the ranch to secure her daughter a spot, the problem is, she can't cook. Wade runs the ranch but the family votes on important issues. Wade was outvoted. Jessica and Wade's story is packed with drama, humor, spice and is a fun read. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Cindi Madsen in the future. A Cowboy Never Quits is book 1 of the Turn Around Ranch Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Chloe and Jess's story pretty much broke my heart. Chloe turns out pretty awesome if you ask me. Wade is so lucky to have these two ladies in his life. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to see what come next from, Cindi Madsen.

Single mom Jessica is at the end of her rope with her teenage daughter Chloe, she has just been arrested and she needs to get her away from her smarmy boyfriend. Jessica's daughter seems to have turned out just like her mom since Jessica had Chloe at the age of 16. I have to say I looked up to Jessica she raised her well and did everything for her. While taking her to turn around ranch and begging for a job, they advise her there are just no openings and Grouchy cowboy Wade is not going to give her a chance he needs to look out for the ranch. Jessica lies that she is a cook since that is the position open, and she is horrible but while there Wade gets to know her and they fall in love but Jessica was just there for a little while and Wade doesn't want to ask her to stay since he didn't fair well the last time that he did that...

Cindi Madsen has become my auto-buy author a long time again and this book again proofs why. I read the entire book in one sitting, because I didn’t want to miss a single minute with these characters.
I loved everything about this book, tge story, the setting, the humor and romance but most of all the characters. Cindi Madsen is a master in creating realistic, down to earth, likeable characters that you can’t help falling for. Whether it is the crumpy but hot cowboy, with a heart of gold or the funny single mom who can really use a break and works as a cook but really can’t cook.
I really enjoyed them both and the chemistry between Jessica and Wade was of the charts from the beginning.
I loved not only the growing romance but also all the friendships that were being build. And to see how much each character grew in their own way and at their own pace.
Overall, another awesome book with romance, humor and friendships. I can only highly recommend, but not only this book but all books by this author.
I rate it full 5 ★

When Jessica’s daughter Chloe get’s in trouble Jessica drags her to the Turn Around Ranch, a ranch for troubled teens. Against the better judgment of Wade, the resident Ranch smoldering hot cowboy, a deal is struck. Jess will be the new cook so Chloe can go through the program. Only Jess doesn’t know how to cook. The wacky plot rolls along as real friendships are made including a hot one between Jess and Wade. The characters are richly drawn with some very funny lines by Jess and by Chloe. The sexy scenes are mild.

I would recommend this book for my patrons.

When Jessica and her daughter Chloe end up almost falling apart, she drags her young 15 year old to the ranch that is set up to help with juvies. Wade, the oldest brother, doesn't want to hire her, and he is a stickler for rules. Luckily he is overruled, and Jessica gets hired as a cook (too bad she can't cook) and her daughter gets a spot in the program. Really enjoyed this book, and love the banter. Highly recommend this book and as there are several brothers i hope there are a few more books to come.

Jessica gave birth to her daughter Chloe when she was just 16 years old. Her parents abandoned her, saying that she was old enough to support herself if she was old enough to have a baby. Chloe has been the primary focus of Jess’s life, and she has been determined that her daughter not make the same choices that she did as a teen. When Chloe appears to be going off the rails, Jess decides to send her to a program for wayward teens that is based at a Texas ranch.

Wade is the oldest son of a family that owns and operates a working ranch that also offers a program to help wayward teens. Wade is the son who never colors outside the lines or strays from his principles. However, when Jess offers to work at the ranch as a cook if they agree to accept Chloe into the program, all of Wade’s preconceived ideas go out the window!

While Jess and Wade may have tangled after first meeting, it isn’t long before a steamy attraction develops between the two. Can confirmed bachelor Wade make the changes necessary to allow an independent woman like Jess into his life, and can Jess see herself living on a rural ranch for the rest of her life? Only time will tell!
