There is practically nothing by Sharon sala that I don’t enjoy reading. The Blessings series is probably my favorite of hers. ‘The Way Back to You” is book #9 in the series. I have read every one and have gotten to know the characters well. This story concerns Sully, a new character, who comes rolling into town in search of his mother. He does find her and he finds love as well.
This is a feel good book. Read this when you have a hard day or week and just need something to be happy about. There are conflicts but they find happy resolution. I always say this and I mean it—I really wish I lived in Blessinsgs!

I found this story to be interesting, though i missed some things and did not feel as connected with Sully as i had hoped to be.

I didn't realize this was a ninth in series when I requested it, and I prefer to read series in order. Will definitely check this out from the beginning one of these days.

This was a really sweet, southern romance about finding your way back to your roots or who used to bring you comfort. I thought the premise was well thought-out in terms of how the two leads would end up in the same town again. I’m a sucker for second chance romance, especially when it was young/first love so I loved the little moments between the two.

This was a sweet story about a man in search of his mother. Along the way, he runs into a woman who turns out to be his childhood sweetheart. If you like sweet stories without a lot of major drama, then I recommend.

Another great story from the Blessing, Georgia series and I cannot wait for more. I have read almost every installment and "The way Back to You" held true to the sweet, cozy small town vibe. This book almost feel like two in one because the story has it happily ever after but the author takes it a step further and tied everything with a nice pretty bow. Loved it.!!! After finding out that he is adopted, Sully is on a search for his birth mother and as a result of this search, he finds himself in Blessing, Georgia. While in Blessings, he comes across his first love, Melissa, in the most dramatic, and heart pumping way possible. I really cannot give more away without spoiling, but I will give you hints. Car chase, Greek Gods, escaping a trunk, and a sweet hero with a huge heart.

I wanted to give you my thoughts on this book and I have to say that it stretched for a while. It also had an unexpected guest and it got very cheesy. Sully and Melissa's relationship was very sweet and their road to each other was even sweeter, but I have to say that Sully finding his mother was a tear jerker for sure. Melissa and Sully had great chemistry and I rooting for them the whole time. The story starts off slow, but kicks into high gear when appropriate.
This was a solid read and I will give it 4 stars all the way. This is a great series and I, for one, would love to move here.

I love my visits to Blessings, Georgia. This outing introduces us to another newcomer to town, Sully Raines. Sully's mother recently passed away and he found papers informing him that he has been adopted. Using information he found and the internet, he ends up in Blessings looking for his birth mother. No one seems to recognize her name, but he recognizes someone else. Being a retired firefighter, he jumps into action to save a young woman after a severe car accident. It turns out that she had lived in the same town as Sully growing up and they had dated. Her family had moved away in high school and she had ended up in Blessings. Of course Sully is now a hero to the town and they want to help him however they can. Of course Melissa and Sully begin to rekindle those feelings they had so many years ago.

If you haven’t read any of the books in this series, I want to assure you that you can read them as stand alone stories. I loved reading them in order so that when a character from an earlier book appears, it is nice to catch up on their stories. Each book features a new love story often with a new character. I love this small town with all the heart of helpfulness they engender. Everyone knows everyone else, but not always their history. That is the case in this story. There is history that plays out, that is a bit of a coincidence, but written in such a sweet way that it fits with the story. Once again I enjoyed Amy Rubinate's narration. She does such a great job with the voices (both male and female), the accents and expression. I definitely love this series and recommend it to those who enjoy sweet, romance in small town.

I always enjoy returning to the fictional town of Blessings, Georgia and catching up on the lives of the colorful residents. Sully Raines does not discover the truth of his adoption until his mother dies and he has retired from firefighting job. His search for his birth mother takes him to Blessings, but the clues are very vague, and he's not sure of his next step. He will unexpectedly encounter a childhood sweetheart, Melissa Dean, there and will eventually meet his mother and learn his history. It's a lovely story and can stand alone in the series.

Thanks to the publisher and to NetGalley for an ARC; all opinions are my own.

THE WAY BACK TO YOU is the ninth book in the BLESSINGS, GEORGIA series, and I hope there will be more. Although I haven’t read the whole series yet, only having read four of them including this title, there was enough information given to make it easy to follow along. The small town romance has moments of darkness and light, and the town definitely takes care of its own.

Melissa and Sully meet unexpectedly when he rescues her after a collision where her car caught fire. Little do they know how that act of kindness will change their lives. I love how the history of the characters is brought into the story. They have dimension and feel real.

Granny’s Country Kitchen in town is the place to be for all things gossip and is owned by Lovey, who has a major role in the story (both past and present). The story shows us the heart of Blessings, Georgia. The scenic descriptions of the town, as well as the food and that always present sweet tea, made me feel like I was there.

THE WAY BACK TO YOU is full of family and friends. A hint of magic is in the air, and the building romance really works. What a terrific romance to read to kick off the new year.

Sully Raines is on a search for his birth mother after finding out that he was adopted. He had questions that he wanted answers to and he was determined to find them in Blessings, Georgia. Following his mother's death, Sully learned that the people he had always known as his parents, were his adoptive parents, not his birth parents. Amongst his mothers things, were a necklace and a note that said his birth mother had left it for him. When it appeared that his search would end, he found unexpected surprises for him in Blessings, Georgia.

This story was a reunion of sweethearts that had been separated, though no fault of their own. There were other wonderful secondary characters in the story, adding to its depth. It was a fairly long read, taking me an entire week to finish it, but the happy ending was worth the wait.

There is some language and some sex scenes that weren't terribly descriptive. I didn't feel that these scenes necessarily added to the story and could have been left out, but that is according to my taste.

I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.

This was not anything I would have expected Ms Sala to write - the tone was ... off, the pacing was lackluster, the characters seemed wooden and utterly predictable. Usually Ms Sala’s writing is exciting and enjoyable for me, but I ended up rage-reading this book just to get it over with. Was this something they dug up from her 1980’s archive?

I always seem to forget just how much I love this series until I start reading the new one. I love all the characters so much and each new book is like coming home for a visit. I get to see what the newbies are up too and catch up with the oldies.

I know a lot of people don't care too much for so many story lines all going at once, but I love it! It keeps me interested and makes the time fly by. I literally can't put it down once I've started.

The Way Back to You was jammed packed with all kinds of stuff going on. We have a son trying to find his birth mother, a car accident, reuniting with lost loves, death, kidnapping, and we even have an escaped convict on the loose. This story couldn't have gotten any better.

My only wish is that the next was in this series was already ready and waiting for me to snatch it up. If you're a fan of this fantastic series, then you'll love this one.

Wow I'm just stunned with how good this title was. I just had so much fun reading this title and getting to along for the ride with these amazing characters. I'm so excited to see what's next from this author.

Exciting from start to finish! With book nine in her beloved Blessings, Georgia series Sharon Sala takes us on a roller coaster ride of emotions in THE WAY BACK TO YOU. The plot is rich with drama and the characters are full of heart.

Sully is so easy to fall for right from the start. He's sweet, he's kind, he's a take charge rescuer. I really enjoyed going on the journey of finding his birth mother with him and watching him find his long lost love.

Melissa is a delight and can't believe her luck of reconnecting with her teenage sweetheart at just the right time to save her from catastrophe. She's had a lot of ups and downs in her life and it's great to see her finally getting another happy ending.

I recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves a small town filled with good-hearted quirky characters who bring a story to life.

A very sweet read, “The Way Back to You” is short but has several subplots which were all tied up and resolved by the end of 352 pages.

The main plot follows retired firefighter Sully Raines’ search for his birth mother. The first paragraph of Chapter 1 summed it all with “The entire forty-five years of Sullivan Raines existence crushed and burned” … when he found his adoption papers in his parents’ safety deposit box.

Based on the data in the adoption papers, Sully hired an ancestry investigator with each new discovering bringing him from Missouri to Texas to Tennessee and finally Blessings, Georgia.

In Blessings, Sully reconnected with Melissa Dean, a girl he dated in high school; their chance meeting segued into a second-chance romance subplot.

And there are just the main two. There are three others which though very condensed added to the storyline.

Again, as already mentioned, “The Way Back to You” is very short. It is a good book to curl into in front of a fire or on a lazy afternoon with a blanket on your feet.

“The Way Back to You” is Rated T for Teens. There are no sex scenes though it was implied. Parental guidance strongly advised due driving while intoxicated.

This was my first visit to Blessings, Georgia, but it most certainly won't be my last. With a heart-warming tale of reconnection as past ties meet the present and filled with the antics of charming small town characters, this title is a delectably entertaining tale that will make you smile and perhaps wipe away a tear or two. Absolutely delightful - I couldn't put it down!!!

As always with Sharon Sala’s stories, your heart strings will be tugged throughout this small-town, second chance romantic adventure!

This is book #9 in the Blessings, Georgia series, and this series never disappoints. Give yourself a mini-vacation to Blessings, where everyone looks out for everyone else and even strangers can’t turn their backs on those in need. Even though this is the latest installment in a well-established series, you will have no trouble diving in with this as your first Blessings book, or reading it as a stand-alone. Sharon Sala is a fantastic writer, weaving her magic to bring life to the town and it’s inhabitants in a way that has you convinced you’ve met them yourself!

This story is about a man named Sully, who after the death of his mother, is shocked to find out that he was adopted. He feels tethered, and sets out on a journey to find his birth month. The search eventually leads him to Blessings, where everything starts coming together for him in the perfect way that only a second-chance romance can bring. I recommend the Blessings series if you love small towns, reunited soulmates, and HEAs.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher, I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. As a fan of Sharon Sala, I do recommend reading anything she writes!

Sully has recently arrived in Blessings after retiring from the fire department and going on a personal search for his birth mother. He’d only discovered he’d been adopted as he was clearing out papers after the woman he thought to be his mother died, and the search has led him to Blessings. But, not everything is as simple as people knowing who he’s searching for, or even what. But an accident outside of town spurred his firefighter’s instinct, and he rescued a woman from the wreckage while waiting for more help.

Melissa never forgot her first love as a teen, and soon he’s there in front of her. The man whose heart she broke years ago – and they’ve got a chance to start over. He’s new in town, never been committed to anything with any real conviction BUT his career, and she’s also single. The sparks were evident from the very first moment they reconnected, even as the circumstances turned tragic. And now, for some reason they aren’t able to stay away from one another.

Sala’s storytelling is sweet, heartfelt and warm. Leaving readers with yet another Blessings story where we meet new people, catch up with some regulars, and find that charm that seems to radiate from this small southern town. Easily read as a stand alone title, you’ll not miss anything by picking up this one – but you will need to grab the earlier books in the series to keep the ‘good feelings’. And good they are – these are stories that are meant to curl around your shoulders like a warm blanket, allowing you to escape for a low stress visit to somewhere else, with people that will soon become your friends.

I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

This book is wonderful from cover to cover....fate? Does it exist??? Seems to in this wonderful story!! Johnny(Sully) and Melissa being school sweethearts, Lovey and Marc, and Sully meeting both his parents! It was a feel good story all around and I highly recommend.
