If you love family stories set in small towns this is a must read for you. This is book 9 in the Blessings, Georgia series and I have loved every one of them. This could be read as a stand alone but you really should start at the beginning. This story features Lovey who has been in all 9 books. She's older and runs the local diner. Sharon Sala has given her one of the best stories yet and has subtlety introduced another new character. Can't wait. Sweet and very slightly Christian reading at it's best. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This was another great book set in the town of Blessings. Sully is looking for his birth mother, and the clues lead him to Blessings, GA. There, while searching for her, he runs into his middle school sweetheart who am he hasn’t seen in thirty years. Melissa Dean has had a hard life, but things turned around for her last year, and with the arrival of her first love Sully, things are looking up. I really enjoy all of Sharons books and this one is no different. If I had one complaint, it would be there are maybe one or two major coincidences too many in this story. Then again, it’s fiction and the story was too good to care!

Sullivan Raines learns that he was adopted when his mother passes away. He is stunned as he looks at his birth certificate and a cross necklace…a necklace that belonged to his birth mother. He has retired from the fire department and knows that he needs to search for his biological mother. The search will take him to Blessings, Georgia where he will find his childhood girlfriend, Melissa. Melissa has been a widow for the past twenty years and is thrilled to be reunited with Johnny, aka Sully. This series will make you wish that your town was Blessings along with the many wonderful characters that are woven in and out through the series. Travel along with Sully and Melissa as they try to unravel the clues to his birth mother. This series continues to get better with each story as old friends become acquainted with the new members of Blessings. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

The Way Back to You by Sharon Sala is the 9th book in her wonderful Blessings, Georgia series. As always when we return to Blessings, Georgia, Sharon Sala gives us another wonderful feel good romance and a great couple.

We meet our hero, Sully Raines, when cleaning out his deceased parents house, he discovers papers that show he is adopted. Sully, who is a retried fireman, is determined to find his real parents, which will turn out to be a dead end each stop along the way; his last hope leads him to Blessings, Georgia. Planning only to stay a few days in search for his elusive birth mother, Sully’s plans will change when he ends up rescuing a woman who was trapped in a car accident by a drunk driver.

Melissa, our heroine, is the woman who Sully rescues, who turns out to be his teenage sweet heart, whom neither have seen all these years. Melissa is a widow for many years, and accepts that she will never remarry; but things will change, as their romance will rebloom. I loved Sully and Melissa together, as not only did they have great chemistry; they were tailor made for each other. This was a beautiful romance, which was very sweet & heartwarming, but the mystery focused on who in Blessings, Georgia was Sully’s mom. Elliot, whom we met in previous books, has the sight, and he can tell a clue to Sully to stay in Blessings, as well as provide a painting.

What follows is wonderful heartwarming & emotional story, with a great couple, wonderful characters that we keep meeting in all our visits to Blessings. There will be a few surprises, and Sully with Melissa will find their family expanding for a wonderful happy ending. I love returning to Blessings, which is a wonderful community who takes care of their own. We should all be blessed with living in Blessings.

Sharon Sala writes another fabulous story, and she continually amazes me that she gives us such great couples that we care about with each and every book. If you enjoy a pure romance, wonderful characters, great couples, and a small-town atmosphere, then you should be reading this series. The Way Back to You was a wonderful read, written so very well by Sharon Sala.

I loved the town of Blessings, Georgia. I've read all of them and look forward to the next one. There were a lot of coincidences in the book with Sully & Melissa meeting each other after 30 years. The backstory on Lovey was great. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

I am a big fan of Sharon Sala’s series about the small town of Blessings, Georgia. You know what you are going to get, but I still enjoy the journey. It’s fun to read about good people helping each other. The people who are motivated by selfishness get what is coming to them and that is always rewarding to read.

There is a lot of coincidence that the reader has to just swallow with a huge gulp of sweet tea. Sully finds out that he was adopted and embarks on a quest to find his birth mother. That quest takes him to Blessings where he helps save the life of a woman from a car accident. And wouldn’t you know it, that woman turns out to be the woman who was his first date as a teenager. Add in the search for his birth mother and then his birth father and the coincidences pile up in a satisfying conclusion.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

Sharon's Blessings series gives me a soothing to the soul feel. Her stories are so inspirational and feel Good it puts a warm smile on your face. This story is no different. Sully Raines got a shock of his life. After he laid his mother to rest while going through her papers he finds out he is adopted. Sully leaves his Kansas home searching for his birth mother. This lands him in Blessings Georgia where he meets up with his first love as teen Melissa. As usual with this series we catch up with some of the characters from previous books Ruby Mercy and Lovey. We are taking through the process and the grief of Sully finding him mother along the way and the love of a lifetime Melissa. An exceptionally addition to the series. Review on goodreads.

Since I read the first Blessing series book (You and Only You), I fell hard for the small town Georgia town. I have waited for a book on Lovey, the owner of Granny's Country Kitchen. This is the book and it is worth the wait! At the heart of the story, Melissa, a character we have met before, and Sully, a retired Kansas City fireman, who is searching for the birth mother he just learned of. Sully saves Melissa early in the book and we find out that they knew each other growing up. Sully has hit a brick wall searching for his birth mother and Melissa recommends talking to Elliot. What happens next is such a special story. This book touched me more than I can even say, I adopted my daughter and hope one day that she has a reunion with her birth mother as Sully does towards the end of the book. All our favorite characters make appearances (who doesn't miss Ruby and her handsome hubby Peanut!) This is a must not miss book!

There’s nothing I love better than a second chance, and this one is loaded with them! It’s time for a visit to Blessings, Georgia, for all this second-chance goodness. Blessings wouldn’t be Blessings without a few snooty, petty, affluent citizens, but thankfully the majority are loveable, big-hearted, unforgettable, wonderful souls. And this time, there's something truly special in store for one of our most beloved Blessings residents.

At forty-five-years old, Sully Raines discovers a secret his now-deceased parents have kept his entire life. Sully was adopted, a revelation that changes the course of his life as he sets out to find his birth mother. This eventually leads Sully to Blessings, where his first discovery is finding the sweetest girl he's ever known, his first love as a young teen. As they rediscover their soul-deep connection and Sully continues his search, he and Melissa are faced with challenges that threaten to destroy their future together.

As only this gifted wordsmith can do, Sully's story has the perfect balance of all the elements. Heartfelt, poignant, joyous, suspenseful and fraught with danger, your eyes will be riveted to the page with your heart in your throat, even as you have a huge smile on your face and your eyes get teary. And just when you think it’s over, up pops another loose end to be tied up, wrapping the story in a perfect, beautiful bow.

This book is so full of emotional ups and downs, and you'll love every single minute of the ride. It will make the worst skeptic a believer in fate, karma and destiny and leave you happy, content and satisfied while you eagerly anticipate your next visit to Blessings. Read this standalone first, then catch up with any of the Blessings books you’ve missed. Your heart will thank you!

This was a wonderful book to read. The author packed so much into it. The journey for the main character was unexpected and there were lots of bumps in the road. Some of the story pulled at the heart strings.

THE WAY BACK TO YOU by Sharon Sala is a wonderful visit back to Blessings Georgia! So much happens in this story, I don't know where to start. Sully's a newly retired fireman, his Mother died and he discovers he was adopted. He then begins a search for his birth mother. His search leads him to Blessings. On his arrival in town an accident happens right in front of him! He saves a woman trapped inside her car and she ends up being his first love. That's just the beginning! Five 🌟 read from me!!!

Sully Raines, a retired fireman from Kansas City sets out to find his birth mother and his search brings him to Blessings, GA. Soon after he arrives in town, he rescues Melissa from a car wreck and they realize that they grew up together in Kansas City and in fact, Sully was her first kiss ever. Their romance reblossoms and we get to meet more characters along the way.

The Way Back to You, the ninth installment in the Blessings, GA series, was my first introduction to Sharon Sala and the charming town of Blessings. Overall, I found the book easy to read, enjoyable and delightful. I will definitely seek out the first book to the series.

Another great Blessings, Georgia book! There are so many events that take place in this book! This is a second chance romance. Blessings, Georgia is a small town that has some very interesting characters. There are ups and downs, funny and sad moments. The book has plenty of angst and mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

This was a good story. I like how Ms Sala writes about older characters occasionally. This had many ebbs and flows that left me wondering where she was going with it.

Sala's Blessing series is a feel-good, down-home adventure into small-town America. She shows the best--and worst--of small town helpfulness and nosiness through characters that are easy to love. Each book reads well as a standalone novel, but the strength of the series is in the ties between the characters.

The Way Back to You had a very interesting premise: during a search for his birth mother Sully finds his first love- and rekindles that love- at the same time and in the same town as finding his birth mother. In Blessings Georgia. However, the characters seemed flat. They met then within about 5 minutes they realized they were in love again. They acted out the plot without flushing out their characters. Two physically difficult things happened to the main character Melissa; things that should have had her in bed or revering for days if not weeks and yet she was up and the after effects were forgotten.
I was appalled by one subplot. A pillar of the community dies in a drunken driving accident. His friends begin to trash him behind the widows back. She finds out and retaliates by having her relatives wear as many diamonds as possible, wear Vera Wang clothes and Jimmy Choo shoes while she sports something like 7 tennis bracelets at his funeral. Apparently one shows that she is the better, more moral person by flashing superior wealth at folks.
I would not recommend this book to patrons.

This is book nine in the series and I always enjoy returning to Blessings, Georgia. When a new book comes out it is like catching up with old friends. I love how Ms. Sales manages to interweave multi storylines into a fast moving book. In this book, we met Johnny "Sully" Raines and catch up with many old friends including Missy Dean. Without giving away to many secrets, we learn the back stories of one of our favorite characters.

Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for providing a copy of this book for review.
