This is a cute board book full of animal puns (think beary for very, hoppy for happy, etc.) with lots of cute animals with their parents. Very young children are likely to enjoy it and the art is cute. This would be a sweet book for bedtime.

I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for purpose of review.

Just like the cover shows, this book is full of beautiful illustrations depicting a parent and their child. The text is made up of a cute play on the animals' names or attributes as puns. As an adult, I was groaning with some of them, but my grandson thought they were pretty funny. I read this to my granddaughter as a bedtime story when I put her down for a nap and she loved the illustrations. I'm not sure if she got the puns, but she liked the book. It can also be used as a beginner or early reader book with repetitive patterns. This is one that I would recommend for family libraries. Both grandchildren liked this one, so it is a winner for us.

I Love You Like No Otter is a sweet book that shows the relationship between a parent and a child. The phrases in the book are simple and relate to the matching illustrations. Each illustration features an adult animal with a young animal. The illustrations are very sweet and visually appealing. The animal illustrations will appeal to young readers, while adults will appreciate the plays on words and the content of loving and caring for a child.

This book would make a great gift for new parents. I recommend this book as a read aloud for parents or caregivers and their young children. I have a toddler and I can envision myself cuddling up with her to read a print copy of this sweet book.

I received a free copy of this title from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This picture book is a sweet rhyming book (where the rhymes do actually rhyme!) using the different animals to create a play on words on each page. It's a great book for parents to read together with thief children and I think would become a fast bedtime favorite in a lot of houses.

<em>I Love You Like No Otter</em> by Rose Rossner and illustrated by Sydney Hanson is a story about parents and children told with a number of clever animal references to fill out the sentences in which the parent animal depicted is describing how much they care for the child animal. From otters to mice to bears, there's always an animal pun to be seen.

It's a simple book, but it's a cute one. Just as you see in the title, this short children's story is peppered throughout with phrases similar to <em>I Love You Like No Otter</em>, using animal names and references to eke out a different meaning for the children reading it. Hopefully, no one's child will begin spelling other like otter, though.

I <em>loved</em> the artwork in this book. Each animal is a wonderful amount of cute, though I'll admit that I'd have preferred if the dog breed chosen hadn't been a pug (I've never been a fan of smoosh-face dogs). Regardless, the illustrator did an amazing job of adorable-izing each of the animals portrayed in the story.

It's a quick read that works well for any parent who wants something sweet and caring to read to their child. I wouldn't say that the story offers much by way of learning or morals, but it's still one that I enjoyed and would consider having on my shelf in the future. I imagine a great many kids falling in love with it rather easily.

I liked this book enough for a re-read every now and again, but not enough to love it. That also goes for my daughter, as she found it cute, but didn't see this one getting into her favorites.

There wasn't enough there to keep us both in love. Yes, the illustrations are cute enough, and the sentences short and sweet, but the whole book as a whole just felt too mushy? too over-the-top cuteness galore? I'm not sure where exactly that left us. It might work even better for a younger audience than that of a seven year old. But, even so, we still enjoyed it quite enough.

I read this with my three year old and we both enjoyed it very much. I loved the colors that were used for this book - they add to the sweetness!

This is another children’s book that I was approved for. The pun of the title alone got me to request this book, and I am SO glad I was able to read it because this book is to die for.

The artwork alone in this book is absolutely phenomenal.

There are puns abound. And anyone who happens to know me would know that I love a good pun.

This was so sweet, and so simple, and it makes me hope that anyone who has young children will get this book to enjoy with them.

I love how pure and wonderful this book is.

I’m definitely going to pick myself up a copy when it’s published because I loved it that much. (I loved it that much that I read it twice, once straight after the other.)

An easy 5/5 stars from me.

I loved the pictures in the book, but the text lost me halfway through. I thought they were reaching for the puns a little too much. But I have to say I again about how much I absolutely loved the pictures.

This book. It is so sweet. The illustrations are beautiful. This is a perfect book to read to a child before bedtime. It's fun to talk about the pictures of the animals and to read the rhymes together.. I just shared it with my "big" 11 year old, and we still very much enjoyed reading it together.

I highly recommend this book. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

I thought this really cute! It is full of puns and adorable animals. Loved the illustrations! While my copy was an early review digital copy, I would be very interested in owning a classroom copy. I believe young children will love it! The hedgehogs, cats, and dogs were some of my favorite. Tho, I love the kangaroo page too. I bet this will be irresistible when it comes out in print.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for a digital copy to review. I highly recommend it!

I don't know whether to say "aww" or to groan and roll my eyes. This book is so punny... but in the most adorable way!

I Love You Like No Otter combines short, pun-filled rhymes with the most adorable illustrations of little animals and their parents. Everyone looks so cute and fuzzy and huggable. I can totally see this working as a bedtime book, because of its sweet rhymes and gentle illustrations.

It's a simple book, but it works. It would make a nice baby gift, too.

Really adorable illustrations. Unfortunately, the book is like so many other books out there that the illustrations aren't enough to make it really stand out.
