What a powerful read. Seriously. Everyone should read this. It was thought-provoking to say the least.

I read this in two sittings I could not put it down. Absolutely fantastic read gripped from the first page. Life of troubled youth Nikolas Cruz dealing with demon in his head. A school shooting and and ending you won't see coming. A must read.

This book was fantastic! It took a while to get going but when it did I was addicted! So much time was spent developing the characters that I felt like I knew them.

This book was all over the place. I tried so hard to get into it and just couldn't. Apperantly this is the shorter version to the already full version of this story that's out?

This actually wasn't one of my favorite books. I really really wanted to enjoy this and I respect what the author did with the story, but jumping months at a time made the book confusing and not that enjoyable. Having the good/bad guy there to kind of tempt him is a really good idea but I feel like it was poorly executed in this book.

I've read the 'full' version of this book, and this shorter one is no better, even if the styles match. The shorter version offers nothing more, and honestly, the 'thriller' style writing isn't appropriate for something so serious.
I will be passing on any further books in this style, from this author.

wow this book really makes you think, I liked what the author was going for and think it's a really interesting idea for a series. I'm glad I read this book as it was really good and really well written.

I did not like this at all. These are real people and events and I feel like it was turned into demonic story. I think this was awful and disrespectful. What this young man died was awful, but to say it’s because he was burn evil is uncalled for. There are a lot of factors that go into these tragedies.

What can I say but I highly recommend that you read this book. I could never hope to explain just how good this book is and give it the justice it truly deserves. I do not want to do an injustice to the author.
A huge thankyou to D.P Conway for writing this fictionalised story that, for a little while at least, you can forget that some of the storyline is based on fact.

This was really good. When I first saw this I immediately thought of Rage by Stephen King and had to read it. I enjoyed the author's reimagining of what happened. I'm going to have to read the rest of these. The angels and demons remind me strongly of the ones in the Bobby Dollar series by Tad Williams. I loved how the author really builds it up.
