This is the story that I have been waiting for because for two books we watched the interaction between Bryce and Kaegan. Bryce is a town sweetheart and Kaegan was the kid with a hard past. The two of them bonded during the time Vashti was away but they also broke up under suspicious circumstances. You know from the start that the two of them are meant to be together; however, as the story progresses things are revealed and understandings come around. I think that the premise of the story is good but the fact that I received an early copy there were too many errors to overlook. I really hope that the story is revised and reformatted before being release to the rest of the world.

This specific video review will be included in the September 2019 wrap-up.

This took me a long time to finish. I think because there were a lot of repetitions throughout the story. There was a crucial moment where Kaegan and Bryce's storyline could've wrapped up and then the rest of the book devoted to the HEA but instead, their reunion dragged.
Still a cute story and still a BJ fan but I couldn't find my through this one. Thank you Netgalley.

I got a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Brenda Jackson is one of our finest writers to tell a very engaging story
Ten years ago, Kalgan planned to get engaged, but had his heat broken.
Now Keegan is back to Catalina Cove and he still loves Bryce
Will true love prevail.
This is a very poignant book

I received an ARC copy of "Right Beside You" by Mary Monroe courtesy of Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Mary Monroe is one of my favorite authors, and the story line in "Right Beside You" did not disappoint. In this instance friends, family and co-worker meddling in the affairs of love brought a positive outcome. I was so tickled when the main characters Richard & Felicia stuck it out with their feelings towards each other.

This book was short, sweet and a wonderful read.

A sweet second chance romance. some parts didn't make sense to me and i'd have to walk away shaking my head for awhile and then come back and try again. but overall a sweet story.

I unfortunately was not a big fan of this book. I wish I could have liked it but I think the writing style was just not for me

I read till almost 20% then gave up. It seemed promising in the beginning, but then went downhill for me. Even skipping around couldn’t re-capture my interest.
Not the book for me.

I hated how Bryce Witherspoon broke Kaegan Chambray heart 10 years ago. I was so sad but then I loved how you brought him back to Catalina cove even those 2 hated each other. But in the end I love how they got together. I thought those 2 should of been together from the beginning. Great love storyline. And how she makes you not wanna put the book down. I just kept wanting to know more.

ehh... this one was tough to get through. I just didn't buy into the characters and the story was pretty predictable. I just couldn't get into it.

There were so many ways for this book to go wrong, but I think, if you can forgive the hero, it’s a really enjoyable, sweet read about second chances.

For 10 years he believed the worst about her , could he have been wrong ?
Kaegan and Bryce has been friends since the first grade, then later boyfriend and girlfriend with the future all laid out ahead of them until distrust settles in.
After believing the worst in her for 10 years is there anyway to even salvage a friendship ?
This book hooked me from the first chapter, the cove, the characters, the back story , although this is parting a series , I read it as a stand-alone and I was not lost !
I cheered for all these couples, cried for them, wanted to knock sense into them .
I recommend this book, and now I’ll be packing to move to Catalina Cove and hang out with my new friends !

This title was a DNF for me, which is rare. I quit about 30% of the way through the book as I found that I was muttering to myself statements like "Grrrrr..... This is stupid!" , "WHY would Bryce do that??" and "I don't give a crap about Keagan's hair!". I could feel my blood pressure rising from how frustrated I was with the vacillating and mercurial actions and inner dialog of both Bryce and Keagan. I felt like Bryce started out as a great main character and then was squished and diminished into becoming the character that the author thought this book needed. (What would have been better would have been for Keagan to accept that he was an ass and then apologize and move on with his life and to accept Bryce's decision rather than repeatedly trying to change Bryce's mind about him and then set Bryce up with a male character and get her happily ever after while Keagan stayed single)
