Now this was a great story! Charlotte, the “little sister” of the family, falls for Mitch, the unknown half-brother. Ros was amazingly wonderful to Mitch, her ex’s other son. The family dynamics were awesome, and the steaminess divine.

All Fired Up by Lori Foster, the third book in her Road to Love series had all the elements I love in a good romantic suspense. Foster sprinkled in a sweet heroine and a hero worthy of redemption. Buckle up because All Fired Up delivered a heartfelt, intense tale that delivered all the feels.
Hands down my favorite of the series, not just because I wanted Charlotte Parrish to get her story, but because Mitch Crews deserved a happily-ever-after and I am a sucker for a hero who doesn’t know he’s worthy.

This was a very well written story with romance and mystery wove into it. It had plenty of action and family drama. You will feel all the feelings from heartbreaking to heartwarming, humor and of course the steamy scenes. I can't wait to read more from this author.

A heartwarming story about an ex-con finding family, love, and peace with himself, All Fired Up is one of Lori Foster’s more tender books. With her signature complex characters blended with suspense, this book has a little of everything. I loved Mitch, our broken hero who is man enough to admit that he wants more for himself. He’s a man who has had very little good in his life, and doesn’t know how to trust that it will last once he finds it.

While this can definitely be read as a standalone, fans of the series will love how this book pulls the series together. The story follows Mitch as he seeks out his half brothers - Brodie and Jack. Recently released from prison, Mitch is alone in life and would love the connection of family, though he doesn’t hold out much hope that his brothers will want anything to do with them. He meets Charlotte first, and there’s an instant connection between the two of them... that throws a wrench in Mitch’s plans once he discovers that she’s his brothers’ employee. It’s bad enough that she’s all kinds of too good for him, but the fact that she’s so important to his brothers means that pursuing more will be complicated. Mitch gets more than he bargained for once he comes clean to his brothers, gaining an instant family and learning that he might just be worthy of that. But trouble from his past resurfaces, putting everything at risk.

This is definitely sweeter than other books I’ve read by Foster, and I have mixed feelings about that. On the one hand, I loved seeing Mitch grow and having our hero be the one in need of healing. On the other hand, it’s almost too much of a slow burn for me - the romance takes a backseat to the family storyline, and ultimately felt a bit rushed. That’s really the only drawback to the book for me though, and I’m sure anyone who has read the other books in the series will find this to be a completely fulfilling read. The writing itself is great, the characters are likeable, and the depth of emotion makes an impact. Thank you, NetGalley, for providing me with an ARC. I am voluntarily leaving a review of this sweet and tender read.

All Fired Up just might be my favorite of the Road to Love series! I loved Mitch so much. And Charlotte finally got to show everyone how amazing she was. (I'm pretty sure the other characters already knew, but I didn't know!)
There was a lot of strong family ties in this one, but there was also love and romance, and some acute danger to make things more real. And the danger really had me on the edge of my seat for the whole novel!
Foster took two characters who somehow thought they didn't measure up, and when they met each other they realized that the reason why other relationships in their lives didn't work was mostly because those relationships weren't with the right person.
Mitch and Charlotte were both very strong characters - but in very different ways. I loved seeing both of them become more confident in areas where they needed it. And I enjoyed seeing how the other characters from prior novels in the series dealt with everything that was going on.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Romance (U.S. & Canada) and HQN for the advance reader copy, All Fired Up by favorite romance author, Lori Foster, in exchange for an honest review. I read and loved the first 2 novels in this series! This third book, Road to Love, was awesome, too! Lori Foster excels in writing romance novels that combine sizzle, drama, mystery, and thrills compelling the reader to turn the pages and fall in love with her stories and characters. This novel did not disappoint! From the first page, mysterious Mitch lurking in the shadows grabbed my attention and garnered my trust as he defends Charlotte, finds his family, and allows himself to trust in building a life with Jack, Brodie and mom, Ros Crews, even as his past threatens to destroy his new happiness. Foster’s characters are always strong, interesting, empathetic, and authentic which is why Charlotte is one of my favorite characters in the Foster series; she is honest, sympathetic, but also no nonsense (loved her tart mouth with Jack and Brodie) and her interest in Mitch is immediate and undeniable. Fans of Foster and readers of romance novels will not want to miss this totally satisfying read!

I've read book 1 in this series and it's made me hunt down book 2 now because there were hints of the characters lives in this one.
Great story, I was hooked from the beginning. Mitch and Charlotte made a wonderful couple, he might have been bad but it was for all the right reasons and his new family could see that. I enjoyed the slow burn of their relationship it made the ending so worth it.
Lot of other tension in this book, something is going to happen. Someone is out for revenge. Will one of the family be hurt? I was on the edge of my seat. Fantastic read, I highly recommend it.

Very entertaining read, this is the third book in this series. I found that this but has a little slower pace than the others, the story beginning focuses on the relationships between the main characters of all three books, which is necessary for the story to unfold. I enjoyed the banter between all the characters and the underlying suspense with Mitch's past. Great story of what makes a family, blood or not, what bonds hold. Mitch and Charlotte feel a pull from the first and are cute as they find their way to each other. Laughs, attraction, suspense and cute dogs, all make up a good read.

Mitch has come to Red Oak to start over and find family that is not aware he exist. While waiting in the bar he comes across a woman who seems stranded since it looks like she has car issues. As she seems to be waiting and making calls a drunkard comes to harass her and Mitch immediately saves her.. As he suggested fixing her tire her friends/bosses shows up and that's when Mitch realizes these are the brothers who he came looking for. So the story continues of Mitch adjusting to having brothers an adopted type mother Ros(the brothers mother).
In this storyline we also get some adventures in which Mitch's mother boyfriend come looking for revenge against Mitch. Review will be on goodreads and amazon.

What a fantastic, emotional book this is. I was so absorbed from page one until the end. I really felt for Mitch, he had such a horrible childhood. Loved how honest he is and how much he wants Charlotte. Can he really open up to his half brothers when he realizes he’s no longer alone? Can he keep everyone safe from Newman? The book kept me on edge and I highly recommend it.

After losing her parents at a young age Charlotte Parish was taken in by the Crews family and it didn't take long at all for her to feel like she belonged with them, quickly finding her place as a daughter and sister. Which is probably the driving force for her craving to have one of her own, she wants to find someone with the same dream, a responsible man with a stable job, good heart, and someone ready to settle down.

Then Mitch wanders into her world, and saves the day when she finds herself stranded alongside the road, and suddenly her list of qualifications for a mate don't seem quite as important. He is everything she didn't want in a mate, he's a bad boy through and through, and for some reason her heart wants him... a man that is anything but stable or ready to settle down. She knows he is the kind of man that could break her heart, but she just can't ignore the undeniable sparks that they share!

All Fired Up is an opposites attract story that comes brimming with heart-squeezing emotion, family drama, action-packed suspense, and of course some steamy romance too! I really enjoyed this latest installment in the Road to Love series, it had the perfect amounts of everything needed to keep me captivated and swimming in feels the whole way through. These two slow danced around one another, keeping each other at arm's length, the sparks constantly simmering, and me dying of anticipation. I adored these characters, they both had rough starts at life, and it did my heart so good to finally see them find the true happiness that they deserved... they are my favorite pairing of the series! I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it's good on the heart and destined to have swooning like a fool throughout!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, via NetGalley request, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

I felt that this book was mostly steamy attraction and not a lot of forward movement in the plot until the end and then it felt as if everything was happening at once. It would have been better if there weren't pages and pages, no exaggeration, of detailed attraction between the two main characters in the beginning and more of the plot moving forward. This would have given the book a more even reading speed instead of stunted progress in the beginning and warp speed at the end.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.

This story was by far the best of the series.
It’s the story of Mitch Crews, a man whose life up to now, would have broken a weaker individual.
The abuse he experienced as a child and later imprisonment when he was really trying to protect someone who had never cared for him, was heartbreaking.
Now a free man, he decides to meet his two half brothers. This occurs sooner than later when he sees a young woman, Charlotte, being harassed outside a bar. A woman who is like a sister to his half brothers and one he is very much attracted to.
It was touching to see the support everyone gave Mitch and how they are willing to defend him and have his back when an evil individual from his past comes to town threatening everything and everyone he has come to care about.
Above all , it’s a story about family. In this case, Mitch’s family. Quoting Mitch, “This family, HIS family, was completely loony, loyal to a fault, a little bloodthirsty and he loved them all dearly.”
A wonderful book worth your time.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and HQN Books. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This is the best book of the series! It held my attention and drew me in from the beginning. It was emotional and truly heartwarming to read as Mitch gets the family he always wanted, plus the love of his life. I’ve liked Charolette throughout the series and enjoyed getting to know more about her. Her and Mitch have an instant and believable connection. It was wonderful how accepting Brodie, Jack and especially Ros were of Mitch and instantly bring him into the family. I loved the theme of family, loyalty and having each other’s back no questions asked. It’s a great mix of romance, humor and a little suspense that hit me with all the feels.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Lori Foster never disappoints. I loved this book. Mitch and Charlotte (and the whole family) were relatable, caring, everything every family would love to have, yet still had issues to overcome like every family does. This sgtory had everything. Suspense, romance, self doubt, acceptance, forgiveness, anger, happiness, love. And Brute's story and part inb Mitch and Charlotte's stor was perfect! Read this book. You won't be disappointed. I received an ARC from NetGalley, and this is my honest review.

Do you crave a heated romance with a suspenseful twist and three adorable dogs? Then is heartfelt, sexy romance will feel that need and then some. Third in the series, this novel can be read as a standalone as well. The well flushed out characters, the well crafted story, with just enough heat to give you all the feels, Foster ends it with such a satisfying HEA, you'll remember it for days with a smile on your face.

Applause for the amazing Lori Foster! What a freaking awesome ending! Mitch is my favorite though I do love them all. From all the doggies to the family and the drama and the as always the steaming hot chemistry from the start...this book is a winner. I am the weirdo who loves to cry/tear up when reading a book and man...Lori...this book did it several times but the story is so freaking good. My heart broke from Mitch and Brute but he got his happy ending with the amazing Charlotte and he got his family. I loved that Elliott also made good. This book really needs 10 stars.

great book. i always love how there are great dogs in all Lori's stories. Aside from that the people in them are just as loyal and courageous. finding out how big your family really is and how much they'll protect you though they don't know you is great.

Wow!!! Very well written, romantic suspense. Love Mitch & Charlotte, this just flows so well that it kept me glued to the pages and just seems real. The characters have depth and the plot is not rushed. They are totally opposite yet still have some similarities, Mitch is a loner by choice, Charlotte is a loner by lack of chance. He is all alpha yet she is feisty and bold enough to stand up to him. I haven't read any of the others in this series yet but LOVE this loving, compassionate, forgiving and loyal family circle! Very touching & suspenseful story which made me laugh, almost cry and rejoice.

All Fired Up by Lori Foster is the third contemporary romance book in the Road to Love series. It worked well as a standalone novel. The novel also has an extra layer of suspense in it so, to me, it falls into a version of a romantic suspense novel.

When Charlotte Parrish has car trouble, she is accosted by a drunk leaving a nearby bar. A stranger, Mitch Crew, comes to her rescue. He has come to town looking for his half-brothers who he has never met. When his past catches up with him and Charlotte and Mitch start falling for each other, the heat and the suspense builds to a satisfying conclusion.

Foster does a great job of building up to a steamy romance as well as plenty of suspense and action. The well-developed main characters are compassionate, strong and personable. Foster does a great job of including elements of a family drama in the book in addition to the romance and suspense. At times, it is steamy, heart-breaking, heart-warming, humorous, and tender.

I have only read one other book by this author, but I am looking forward to reading more. If you like a well-written romance with some suspense and family drama, then this may be the book you have been seeking. I definitely want to read the first two books in the series.

Many thanks to Harlequin – Romance (US & Canada) and Lori Foster for a digital ARC of this novel via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions are mine alone and are not biased in any way.
