Rachel Van Dyken never disappoints. I always enjoy reading her books and will continue to keep reading them all!

Rachel does it again and sets the pages of this book on FIRE! I love her characters and the story lines that she creates. My only downfall...they end too quickly. But onto the next!

I'm kind of annoyed at myself for waiting so long to read this. The plot sounded kind of stupid to be completely honest, and while this is a little ridiculous and soap opera-esque in a lot of ways, I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I was going to!

I was immediately drawn into the story and the drama of the Tennyson family. While I do think Izzy's character was kind of one dimensional, Bridge made for an interesting hero and I did enjoy their romance. I just wish that Izzy's character outside of her relationships with Julian and Bridge would have been developed more. All we really know about her is that she wanted to be a nurse and that her parents are dead.

I'm SO looking forward to reading the next book in this series (thanks NetGalley for approving me for that e-arc as well!), because I really want to see Julian forgive Izzy and Bridge and for the two brothers to become close again. Plus, Julian deserves some loving too!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Rachel never disappoints me. Her books are entertaining, you just can't put them down! This happened with this one. I cannot wait for the second book in the series. The story was particular and so different from the usual thing you find around. Really amazing, I advice it!

Such a beautifully heartbreaking story!

A story filled with lies, deceit, and secrets...this book will rip your heart out and you'll need a pint of ice cream while it's put back together. Loved it and can't wait for the next book!

Oh my heart. I’ve never wanted to coddle characters as much as I wanted to with these boys. Bridge and Julian both were uniquely devastating in their own ways. While this story focused mainly on Bridge, I’m so very excited to see more of Julian. I can’t imagine what it’s like begging for affection from a parent, to feel unworthy. My heart hurt uncovering the ways of this family. But I need Julians book now!

A brand new romance from Rachel Van Dyken where NOTHING will be what it seems. SO be ready for a hard ride here.

Bridge is a many that had it all when he was a kid (except his asshole father), but after a nasty divorce, everything has changed. Now he has nothing, his twin has everything from his inheritance. But is that really what matters, when Bridge, is supposed to replace his twin, after the accident? Well... not everything is as pink as it seems, as his brother has a firm to lead and a fiance! Ideal life right? Maybe in some cases but not in this one. Can Bridge deal with everything and not fall for Isobel? Or is this case falling from the very beginning?

I enjoyed reading that book as it had a really intriguing concept, the blurb was nice and let's say this twist is not something we can meet in a lot of books. Bridge was a really nice character that was developing more and more with each chapter and made me fall in love even more so I want more of those characters soon - as Julian characters need it so much! As I liked this one, I will make sure to grab book 2 as soon as I can put my hands on it! Great job of the author!

I loved it! I think this might be my favorite RVD book. Great characters, lots of angst. What more could you want? Now to find out what happens with Julian.

As with all Rachel Van Dyken books, I was sucked in from page one! This story was a bit twisted at how evil the father actually is. How can someone expect their son to do what he asked of Bridge? Aside from that, I really enjoyed reading it, the characters are well developed, the story flows and gets exciting with the twists and turns. Love it. Cannot wait for book 2!!!

This book has all the feels and if you love a story that is full of angst and romance this should be a book you are one clicking add in the wonderful characters, the passion and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Contemporary Romance by Rachel VanDyken
Covet Series, Book One

Book Boyfriend: 3.5
Bridge Tennyson is a swoon worthy built, masculine man who loves his mother unconditionally. Who doesn’t love a good mama’s boy?!? He works hard and has two to three jobs at a time in order to take care of his mom. Bridge also has a twin who is just as swoon worthy and incredibly charming. Unfortunately, they overbearing, maniacal father got Julian in the divorse and he turned out a little skewed. Bridge is a good guy who is put in a very difficult position when he comes in contact with his estranged father and brother. He means well but sometimes you can’t help what you want and your self-control only holds out so long.
Strong Female Lead: 3.5
Isobel “Izzy” Cunningham is a beautiful, intelligent woman who was dealt a hard hand. Her parents passed away when she was in high school and the Tennyson’s took her under their wing. Izzy works hard through college to become a nurse. She promises Julian she will never leave him and she means it because she is head over heels in love with him. But things change when they get out of college. Julian is incredibly controlling, just like his father, and won’t allow her to work and dictates what she should wear, eat, etc. The strong, fiercely loyal woman slowly breaks down into almost nothing. Along the journey, she lost who she was.
Plot: 3
The plot was kind of cliche which was disappointing. Two twins were separated in middle school because of a divorse. Each child goes with one parent. Julian lives for his father’s approval while Bridge constantly stood up to his father and took care of his brother. Julian ends up with his billionaire father who is severely controlling and Julian never attains his approval. Bridge goes with his mother who has no money but grows up being loved. Julian is in an accident and the father comes to insert Bridge as the stand in for his company’s well-being. The life of his brother comes with a beautiful fiance. You can probably guess the rest of the book.
Steamy Factor: 2
Just like with most of RVD’s books, there isn’t a lot of steam but enough to wet your appetite.
Overall: 3
I had a hard time getting through this book. It took me a long time to even start it because I didn’t like the premise of the book. I absolutely love RVD’s books so I thought I would give it a chance. It was just meh for me. It did, however, leave me wanting to know what happens to Julian in the next book, Finding Her. So we will see if I end up picking it up… to be continued.

I absolutely devoured Stealing Her! Bridge has to step in for his twin brother in every aspect, including being his brothers fiancé. Isobel has never met Bridge and has no idea her fiancé has a twin brother. Slowly Bridge catches himself falling in love with Isobel. At first it sounds like the ultimate betrayal but after diving in you see things more clearly.

Falling in love with your brother’s fiance while your pretending to be him sounded like the perfect forbidden romance. Nothing is ever that black and white. Life’s messy.

Isobel was stuck in an engagement she was finally ready to walk away from. Her fiance Julian had hurt her for the last time. She was ready to walk away.

The unthinkable happens and Julian is seriously injured.
Julian was about to become CEO of his father’s company. The public finding out about how bad Julian’s condition is isn’t an option. Good thing Julian’s estranged, identical twin can step in.

Bridge needs to take over Julian’s life and no one can know. He’ll get what he needs out of the deal and give Julian what he’s always wanted. The only hitch in the plan is Isobel. Bridge never expected to find himself falling for his brother’s fiance.

The story captured my attention and I read it in one sitting. Bridge is sweet and romantic. He makes his fair share of mistakes, but his reasons are pure. Isobel is smart. She has so much guilt regarding her choices, but she is a good person. She lost part of herself, but being with Bridge helps her remember who she is.

Suspense, secrets, heartache, forgiveness and unexpected love. Ultimately we saw that the love for family lead Bridge to choose the path he did. He found the love of his life and his future, even though it came at great cost. I want redemption for Julian. I will be looking forward to his story.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book received through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have conflicting feelings with this book. On the one hand, it was good in the sense that the writer had me feeling all the right emotions. I couldn't help but be excited, sad, gleeful and repulsed throughout the story. The plot was well written if you like an angsty romance. After all, what's not to like about a story about family conspiracies, supplanted identities and romance?

When Julian, CEO of a big family corporation is hurt, his brother Bridge -with whom Julian doesn't have a good relationship after years of separation- takes his place pretending to be him. This includes pretending to be Julian even with Isobel, Julian's fiancée. The problem is, Isobel's and Julian's relationship has long cooled off and the return of Julian's attentiveness reignites old feelings, without her being aware of Julian's real identity.

While the story is completely unbelievable, I really liked the characters. All of them were flawed, but intriguing. The story ends with a cliffhanger, waiting to be continued in a second book. There's a dramatic, angsty and kind of soapy vibe all through the book that hooked me up soon enough, waiting for the moment when the truth would be revealed.

I quite loved this novel, as would anyone who loves a good romance with family drama and a touch of angst.

I don't know how she does but Rachel Van Dyken always manages to suck me into her stories.
I really enjoyed reading Stealing Her. This book is definitely for those that love a good angsty romance.
Bring on Book 2 cause I loved this one.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

When the book begins, I really can't stand Isobel. She just seems like she can't do anything and has to follow what ever Julian tells her. What we learn about Julian is pretty bad and yet when we get to the end of the book, I kind of felt bad for him.

At points the book seemed to drag on as Isobel and Bridge talk about their feelings a lot and I get that they need to do this to feel better about "betraying" Julian.

Parts were hard believe - that Isobel could not tell the difference between Julian and Bridge when they were so different in how they treated her and that Bridge was much better physically built and had tattoos. I get that he lied to her to try and fool her that they were temporary tattoos but not fitting into his clothing and have more muscles!?

After all the things that I didn't like, I wanted to know how this was going to end and how they would resolve things when Julian did wake up! Now, I am looking forward to his book. (I was also glad that they finally explained the maid episode!)
