Pioneer days historical fiction has always been my favorite when it comes to historical books. This is a good collection of historical stories. Each selection is well written. If you enjoy historical stories I recommend this book. My thanks to the publisher for my advance ebook. This is my unbiased review.

This collection had everything. I laughed, I cried and I constantly found myself entertained. I was familiar with many of the various authors, but there was a few new ones for me. I love to be able to sample a new author by reading a novella in a collection like this. What I found interesting, this collection was about the Oregon Trail and the hardships the pioneers all faced. Even though the subject matter was the same, each author told the story in their own voice, so the story never got old. This is a part of history that I love to hear about, I am fascinated by it.

This is a wholesome collection of stories, I love Western types of books and this was really good. Each story was enjoyable and I had a great time reading it.
