I couldn't get into this book. The plot was fine and it was written well, but I just didn't connect with the characters and ended up putting it down about half way.

So I've never read anything by Anya Sharpe before and I didn't know what I was missing out on!

It's a shame I started reading the book and later figured out it was part two which I later saw was on my to-read list. Well.... Still going to read it anyway because I want more of Evan and Erynne! The fact it was the second book in the series didn't stop me from getting sucked into the story and I could follow the storyline very easily.

I loved everything about this book. It has everything on my checklist, steamy sex, great romance, great drama, great side characters, just everything! I loved the writing style, everything is so detailed and realistic, just how a great book should be.

Evan and Erynne are a great couple and their relationship is just perfect. Evan is now one of my new favorite book boyfriends! I also loved the relationships with and between the side characters. The descriptions and conversations throughout the whole book made me feel so inside the story like just a few books have done before.

I would definitely recommend this book if you want a great read with great characters and a great writing style!

Key to Her Heart by Anya Sharpe is a novel that just slogs through the usual tropes that this type of novel has and doesn't do it as well as many other authors. Don't bother. I give it a half a star, but my review will say 1.

Thanks to the author, The Wild Rose Press and NetGalley for an ARC of this novel for my honest review.

I hadn’t realized this was the second part of a series, but that doesn't stop you from getting sucked into the story directly. Evan is a superhot macho guy who has fallen hard for his co-worker Erynne and he will do anything to keep her happy (and horny). This guy can charm your socks off and melt your panties . However, he needs to go Alpha (as Erynne calls it) on several occasions, because throughout the book Erynne gets caught in the cross fire of Evan's fathers problems with the mafia and some other guys having issues with Evan's power. So in all a wonderful book, full of suspense, twists and turns and a whole lot of hotness. Hold on to your panties and enjoy the ride! Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

When I requested Key to Her Heart I didn't realize it was the second book in a series. Ultimately it didn't matter and I was able follow the storyline. Evan and Erynne are not only likeable characters but share a super hot chemistry. Once I started reading I literally didn't want to put the book down. Anya Sharpe is definitely going on my favorite authors list. Thank you NetGalley for introducing me to a new great author.

Erynne is recently divorced from her first husband after he cheated on her and hurt her deeply. Her and Evan enter into a whirlwind romance and fall deeply in love. However their lives together are filled with family drama, friend drama, personal crisis, and lots of work issues. Can they overcome the obstacles life seems to keep putting in their way to find their own happily ever after? Is their love strong enough to withstand the turmoil around them?
This was a great love story reminding the readers that when you are with the right person together you are strong enough to overcome anything.

Very enjoyable read by a new author for me. This is the second book in a series and unfortunately I didn't read the first book, but it didn't cause any problems for me. It does make me want to purchase and read the first book though! Evan and Erynne are very likeable characters and the secondary characters/story line just added to the whole enjoyment of this book. Would definitely recommend. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

This ARC was courtesy of Netgalley - all thoughts and opinons are mine and unbiased

This is part of a series and the second one - I have not read any of the other parts but this doesn't matter - I was still able to enjoy the story without any prior knowledge - I now want to go back and read all of them in the right order but that's just me

This was a quick, easy read. This grabbed me quickly and I became invested in the characters and the need to know the outcome very quickly.

It would have been better, for me, to have ended with Evan and Erynne but I understand the need for the author to introduce other characters. It creates an interest for the next book in the series but I did find it a little distracting and for me, splintered the end of the book a little

No matter, I still enjoyed the book immensely and look forward to reading more from this author

Thank you Netgalley and The Wild Rose Press, Inc for the free copy. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I didn't realise that this is actually the second book of a series when I requested it on Netgalley. But even without reading the first book, I could still follow the storyline well and it doesn't trouble me one bit.

It is so easy to fall in love with the story. You have a super hot, protective and sweet guy who isn't afraid to commit himself to an equally great woman. I love Evan and Erynne together. I even love the other characters that they surround themselves with.

That is until Evan and Erynne suddenly decide to be a matchmaker for Maya, Lance and Anthony. I thought that subplot was just distracting and unnecessary. I wish the story would focus more just Evan and Erynne and the mess they got themselves in. I could do without the love triangle of the sidelines characters. Had they not taken the spotlight towards the end of the book, I would gladly gave this story a solid 5 stars.
