This was a really enjoyable read with some likeable characters. I liked Whitaker but I wasnt sure if he killed his wife or not. He left his home but someone kills his wife. Who is it? Perez i liked lane I didn't. He was to the point. He thought Whitaker did it. I wasn't sure. What a twist. Wasnt expecting that. 4*.

This is a hidden gem! When I read this book, it had been out several years, but gotten very few reviews. That's unfortunate, because it's a really good mystery with action at an excellent pace. There are a few things that don't add up, but they aren't important, so I forgive them. This book is very hard to put down once you've started reading.

WOW!!! A brilliant read that keeps you guessing until the end!

Jim leaves his house to buy some paint for the doors he and his wife, Amy, are working on. Thirty minutes later, he returns with the paint which soon gets forgotten. The house is filled with police - Jim's wife had been murdered. As events happen and information is gathered, the main suspect becomes Jim.

A wonderful treat that will not disappoint!
