I was a tad bummed I couldn't download a kindle version, as that's highly preferred.. but.. on to the book itself.

this was a second chance romance. it felt rushed at times. i also felt like we could have used more of a backstory on some of the topics .

I really wasn’t keen on this, just couldn’t connect with the story or the characters

I wanted to like this book but I found myself with so many questions about the past that i couldn't push through them to truly enjoy the story. I almost felt like the story of Steven's accident and Katy's depression would have been a better story than this one. It was a struggle for me to connect with these characters.

Wonderful second chance story. Yes, it was a little rushed for my taste and there were a couple of story threads that I would have liked to have resolved (i..e. some backstory on Steven's accident, the falling out between Katy and Corinne, the extent of Katy's depression, etc.), however, what was given sufficed. Definitely a must read for the TBR list. I would definitely read more titles from this author.
