The passion is undeniable and that thin line between love and hate begins to blur. What an amazing story that will never be forgotten.

Thank you, NetGalley for this book in exchange for an honest review.

This one was spicy and I really loved the chemistry between Cam and Orla. Definitely a steamy one.

This starts off hot and lusty and then crows into something more. I like this world a lot and JC Harroway always delivers really strong and relatable characters. It was a hot, steamy, easy read that I did in one setting.

The proposition by JC Harroway is the sixth installment of the billionaires club. This book is about the excitement in making love and living life to its fullest. I thoroughly enjoyed the different places visited while watching these two fall in love.

Thank you, Harlequin Books, for providing me a free copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Orla isn’t in the market for a long-term relationship, but when she hooks up with sexy Cameron, a short-term affair seems like a harmless indulgence. Cameron, struggling with his father’s legacy and trying to figure out who he is now that he’s mega-wealthy, insists on a few rules if he and Orla are going to be together, but his desire for her is undeniable. Their time together will end, and falling in love definitely isn’t in the plans.

This story is an ultra-sexy fantasy lovingly detailed on the page. The sexy times are graphic and very fun. Both Orla and Cameron are unabashed in their sexual desires, and it’s refreshing to see the heroine as the character taking charge, then the hero stepping up to the plate with a few qualifications of his own. There’s a lot of money being thrown around in this story, and no expense seems spared with regards to travel and food, etc., but in the end the tale rests nicely on the relationship developed between Orla and Cameron and the growth that each has to do – that each is willing to do, once they meet the other – so that they can act on the feelings that grow between them and move together to a happy ending.

Definitely recommended, and I can’t wait to read Harroway’s other Dare novels!

It was an interesting premise but I never really felt the connection between the main characters. Overall, a fast read bit without any emotional.payoff.

Today's book is The Proposition by JC Harroway. It is the third book in the Billionaire's Club, a contemporary romance series. I received this book through the publisher of Harlequin Dare from NetGalley as an Advanced Reader's Copy. This book follows Orla Hendricks a self-made billionaire and Cameron North a resentful billionaire. This follows six weeks of Orla and Cameron going through the adventures of travelling around Europe in Billionaire fashion. Orla is a no-nonsense CEO who is determined to show her father that a woman could lead the family company, well Cameron on the other hand is attempting to blow through his inheritance as quickly as her can. They both come to realize that you need a balance of leisure and work and that is not about your family opinion but your own self-worth.

I noticed that Cameron represents a lot of children who have been forgotten about till after the death of a family member while Orla represents all the children who have been passed over because of their gender. I wanted to know more about Cameron's back story through his work history and more about the relationship between him and his mom and her beliefs on money. I also wanted to know more about Orla's struggles in trying to create her own company to compete against her father's. I was surprised by the way the two characters connected over the dog shelter. How they connected with the dogs, the environment, and what they organization was trying to do for the dogs even though they come from different backgrounds.

The overall plot development was okay but lacked some details in regards to backgrounds, so 6 points. The overall character development also lacked several background aspects and some growth, so 6 points. The overall layout was done as successfully as possible for a short story, so 8 points. The overall grave is 67% or 4 stars. Yes, I would recommend this story. Those who enjoy steamy love scenes and different working classes approaches to money should read. Those who dislike borderline erotica, squandering money and lots of family tension due to business should stay away.

Everything you could possibly dream of being in a DARE book is in this one.

Top class locations, characters and narrative.

I love the author and I love her writing style and I will be looking up the rest of this series.

Τhe book that I got was not this one (it was The intern)so I will not be reviewing "The proposition" because it was not the book I got. The intern was a good read even if it was on the short side and some things were a little rushed. Still, I would recommend it.

THE PROPOSITION is certainly hot and sexy with two strong personalities in Cam and Orla, part of the multi-authored The Billionaires Club, we once again make our way to the M Club for the newest addition to this quartet. Harlequin’s DARE line is super sexy, no holding back hot and steamy, if that’s not your style of Romance then consider this your fair warning of what is to come.

The attraction between Cam and Orla is instant lust that will slowly over their weeks together turn into something more – but for now, this couple will burn up the sheets with Cam firmly in control. Each is a billionaire in their own rights, one hard worked for, the other family money and trying to go through it as quickly as possible. Both have definite father issues that have shaped their lives to a large degree. Orla knows hard work, accomplishment, dedication and the determination to make her father proud of her – that’s an ongoing battle that she may need to rethink constantly fighting and settle into her own worth. She has little time for fun and has propositioned Cam to travel the world with her for a set amount of time filling in the times between work with hot, demanding sexy times. What neither expected was to move beyond the lust into something more and, frankly, that scares them both.

I enjoyed my time back in this world. And if you love a hot, sexy romance then THE PROPOSITION is definitely for you.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Lola was at a party where the hosts expect you to mingle, asking random questions to strangers for obscene amounts of money. Lola says she will do anything for a ,illion dollars except anal and be a sex slave for a year. Lola doesn’t feel she fits in here. A nerdy girl engineer in the thrift-store little black dress that’s her gotp for social functions requiring heels. This is the glamorous side of Silicon Valley - successful, extroverted deal-makers. It’s also a pond stacked with fat, captive fish and Lola needs to toss in her line and pluck one out. Instead of schmoozing, Lola watches from the sidelines. She doesn’t do “People” well. People are best in small doses. Plus the VC guys judge relentlessly from the moment she starts her pitch. She is expected to provide thirty second soundbites, answers about how the company she founded is going to contribute to the greater good, and make tons of money in the process. Coding is much easier. The basic premise of the networking event is simple. Collect business cards and make introductions hoping to score a request to come back and interview for the big money during business hours. Lola than notices a familiar face. It’s Maple who guides her to some business prospects she wants to change business cards with. Than she won’t let Lola leave after she’d done what she had come to do, she had passed out and collected twenty seven business cards Lola was thirty one and felt like she was the babysitter that failed to make good. She had just founded her first company so she didn’t have time for anything but work. Than Lola thought she was going back to her window seat and she lands on a thigh and a man grabs her to help stabilize her. This man definitely sparks Lola in all the right parts of Lola. Dev thought about how he closed a major e-commerce at the Friday mixer despite crazy chick’s -Lola- drenching and that means more stock options, bigger bonus, and the hugest possible gold star. People claim his surfer boy outside in no way matches my CEO insides. That I'm a cranky butt who routinely demands near impossible coding heroics from his people. Dev asked what was the cause of someone stealing their brand- new- e-commercial-code? The explosive e-code the pre-sold to rtwelve major online vendors? Dev asked how? Than dev believes Lola stole his code and he shows up at her office. Lola company is Calla Enterprises. Than Dev realized was the woman who crash landed on him friday. He realized Lola was hot. He stares at Lola’s to do list in his mind. Dev found her touch her more. Is electric, making his hands itch to touch her more. Lola hired dev as an intern she was supposed to have an interview with, not knowing who he really was. After she thinks about it she feels Dev is a bad idea. But how can she fire him? Not only does she need his brain to sort out bugs inher software, but she has no legal ground to fire him for his hotness. The grumpy butt part gives her material to work with, but Lola needs him. Jack and devland have been best friends since freshman year of college where they shared an apartment and a major in computer science.
I enjoyed this book. I didn’t like that dev didn’t tell her the truth about himself and instead she found out from an ex hook-up. I did like how Dev and Lola interacted and I liked them together. I liked Dev and his friends also. I liked that dev helped Lola get some founding just because of who he was. I thought the ending was a little rushed but still liked it. I liked the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend it.

I recently discovered Harlequin’s DARE books and i had a lot of fun reading about the different vacation destinations visited by our hero Cam and our heroine Orla. In this particular book both Orla and Cam are billionaires in their own right though Orla is so driven she can’t slow down long enough to enjoy the fruits of her labor. Cam is exactly the opposite. He’s inherited his money and he’s determined to spend it as fast as he can because he didn’t want anything from his now deceased father. For separate reasons these two love birds think they’ll be able to walk away from each other at the end of their 5 week getaway but you know they’re just fooling themselves. As far as I’m concerned it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand there’s no walking away from their happily-ever-after. I read an early copy of this book through NetGalley and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

Urk! This pair. They’re perfect opposites and perfectly perfect for one another. Both Orla and Cam have some deep-seated issues with their fathers that have managed to color every relationship in their lives. Can Cam’s more free-spirited approach prove to Orla that she doesn’t need to work so hard; doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone? And can Orla show him that his inheritance isn’t a prison sentence? This is one of my favorite kinds of stories: where our leading couple think they’re going to escape without being infected by emotions. You know from the start that that they’re going to learn just how uncontrollable life really is.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through NetGalley.

There's no question that this Dare erotic romance is very well written. It is chock full of steamy, sizzling, extremely descriptive yet fairly tasteful sex scenes. It stars wealthy Cam (younger by eight years) and Orla, a 36 year old divorced businesswoman looking for a few weeks of 'stimulation' after their initial encounter at a Billionaire club in Monaco. There is a lot of inner dialogue where our H/h mostly think about each others bodies, or the sex they had, or are going to have. Did it hold my complete attention? No, unfortunately. I didn't connect with the characters at all - especially Orla. There are lots of 5 star reviews for this book, so really, it probably depends on your mood when reading this story as to how you rate it - or in fact, how many romances in this genre you've read. I've read so many over the years that these days I really get bored reading a ten chapter sex fest without much else happening. The story is told in first person from both points of view. My thanks to NetGalley for the ARC in return for my honest opinion.

Quick read. Good story. The chemistry and attraction between the characters was really good. It was fun watching them work their way to the HEA they deserved. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.

Whew! What a deliciously steamy romance!

So yeah, steam is what the DARE books are known for, and as the third book in the Billionaire's Club world this book more than delivers. Each is a standalone book, though, with its own HEA.

In this story, Cam and Orla burn up the pages as they search for happiness they don't even know they're missing. This was a wonderful story, full of heart and heat, and I couldn't put it down. Highly recommended. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Wow, so totally enjoyed this book. I couldn’t put it down. Forget any kind of chemistry experiment meant to heat things up, Cam & Orla are absolutely explosive together. I love how their meeting starts out as just one night but then turns into more,.....way more. Both are battling demons but when together they seem to become less important. The growth of Orla was amazing to see, as she begins to learn that work isn’t the only important thing in her life. For Cam, his inheritance is causing him pain & trying to spend it all isn’t helping until Orla shows him how he can use it for good. Their heat factor is off the charts as they travel & enjoy each other. Lessons learned in this book.....love is there for the taking, all you have to do is look up & move towards it. This has been a truly sexy, enjoyable read & is a great addition to this very sexy series. Definitely recommend.

A steamy hot romance between two incredibly wealthy beautiful people! Cam and Orla both have issues, to be sure, with their fathers and as a result with relationships so it seems like a sure thing that they can travel together for 6 weeks as well, friends with benefits. Hah. You know from the first chapter that's not gonna happen. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Try this one for escapist reading with just an incredible race of a racey plot.
