I find when I mention CBD to people they automatically think they will get high. Scott Douglas has written a great book with all the information one would need to decide if CBD would be helpful for them in their training. Douglas breaks down the difference of CBD and THC, how the CBD/THC is extracted, the different dosages, methods of administering (tincture, pill, topical etc) and which is more helpful for an athlete. Resources, studies and interviews from other athletes help a lot. I learned a lot that I didn't know about CBD, especially how our bodies (especially the endocannabinoid systems work) work & can use it CBD.

A great resource for anyone wanting to learn more about CBD especially athletes. I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars.

Scott Douglas' excellent new book, The Athlete's Guide to CBD, is kind of a 411 on this new popular 'good for everything that ails you' treatment. After reading this book, I feel like I know a whole lot more about CBD than I did before. In the book, Douglas shares his experience with CBD as well as other athletes who have found CBD to help them with performance as well as insomnia, anxiety, recovery, and pain.

The Athlete's Guide to CBD is a quick, comprehensive read.

A short, informative and easy to read book on CBD. Information is timely and user friendly. Each chapter has a bulleted summary of key points. You don't have to be an extreme athlete to appreciate the data and testimonials. A great little handbook in navigating the uses, doses, and future of CBD.
