I really enjoyed reading this book, the characters were great I liked the universe that the author built. The series so far are really good and I hope there is more in the series.

This book is for you if… you've enjoyed the sequels of this series.

I’m not rating this with Stars on Goodreads, only on here because I have to. I stopped at 10%. Just like the first one in the series and what little I zoomed through of the sequel, this third instalment is absolutely not to my test. It remembered me a little of LitRPG, which was exciting since I’ve had very good experiences with this gem: This Broken Sword. This is definitely a it's not you, it's me kinda thing.

I'll be honest this was my first read of this author and with it being the third book in the series I may be a bit behind. I had some trouble getting into this book and wanting to know and learn more. I will say the combination of science and fantasy intrigues me and I wanted so badly to fall in love with this read. I am hoping that if I go back and read the first two of the series I will enjoy this one much more.

This is everything I could ever want out of an ocean book! The magic. The creatures! Omg! I'm never looking back. I'll definitely be checking out more from this author and more in the series!

I'm just loving this series. Binge reading all three books at once reminded of what had already passed before I started this installment. The uniqueness of this magical system is not like anything I have read before. The only thing remotely similar to the system was in some books by Randall Garrett (he used a magic specialization system as well but it wasn't quite the same thing). The world building is incredibly detailed and innovative for the characters. This is epic fantasy and well done at that. The authors writing is reminiscent of C. S. Lewis and the Chronicles of Narnia though more elaborate. While not as intense or as long as J. K. Rowling's work it is still wonderfully detailed and thought out. The characters are delightful, funny and witty. You just have to love the heroes, hate the villains, and beware of the grey areas. All the stories are easy to read and the pace is great with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing where the story goes from here. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I loved this book! Though I haven't read books One and two, Three was pretty easy to follow! Everything was well written, and the world building was amazing!

Wow , words can't explain how amazing this book was. The story line was so easy to follow and all the characters where so likeable and connected until the very end. I can honestly see this being played on the big screen as an adaption. I'm definitely looking forward to the book in this series.

I found the beginning of the book disjointed. The longer I read the more settled I became in the story. This will make a great start off for sequels and I await the next book.

This book makes you love the series even more. Awesome doesn't begin to describe it. Amazing magimals and lovable characters with mysterious plot, it has everything in it. Fantastic book with magical elements and I'm so excited for the next one in the series.
