A mix of magic and mayhem is definitely a collection that is worth reading. Erica Ridley does a wonderful job of weaving magic into stories yon never want to put down.

Such a delightful trilogy and it was nice to see Ridley branching into paranormal/fairytale retellings. I really enjoy Erica Ridley’s writing. Her authorial voice is always so sophisticated yet approachable. I appreciate the lean towards historical accuracy and dedication to world building. I highly recommend her. Great spice too. 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

This collection was quite different from the historical romances I'm used to reading from Ridley, but was still quite enjoyable. This was a little steamier, and I loved all the MCs. I enjoyed the mix of magic and modern convenience, and there were a few times I found myself giggling while reading. Overall, a nice collection, but I must admit I like Ridley's historical romances more.

I absolutely loved all 3 stories in this book. They were humorous and good love stories. I liked the glimpse into the magic worlds and wish I had more to read.

The first in the series was enjoyable with a good mix of characters, Magic and some steamy sex.

Unfortunately the second and third book in the series then became very repetitive and I struggled to finish.

I really enjoyed all three of these stories. They were different than the books I usually read from Erica but they were fun and whimsical.
I loved how each took us on a new and separate adventure.
Thank you Ms Ridley for a great read!

This is a super cute, fast read, collection of stories. I love that it’s fairytale meets modern day. Yes the stories were a little cliche but very romantic. I would totally recommend for a beginning adult romance reader.

Very enjoyable series of stories. Interesting characters along with some romance. This kind of romance is not quite my thing, and yet I enjoyed each story. Nicely done!

Good tales in series by this author. Romance and magical realm in each book..
Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.

These stories are in varied settings. They can be cute and quirky or a little dark, but are always witty. I liked the variety. I used them as interludes between more taxing reads.

This is a repackaging and revising of the first two books in Erica Ridley's Magic and Mayhem series. If you are a fan of paranormal romance/comedy series, you will enjoy this book. It is set five decades in the future and reminds me of an interesting but less funny version of Phules Company.

What do a 600 year old princess, a tooth fairy wannabe, and a guardian angel have in common? First, they are wonderfully strong women, even if a little on the quirky side. It is their quirkiness and that of many of their fellow characters that make them very endearing. Second, their stories are marvelous creations from Erica Ridley's very vivid imagination. Third, they all have a chance to meet their One True Love, although at times it was difficult to think they would have an HEA. This book is a compilation of three previously published novellas. In the first offering, a very spoiled princess is cursed to live by herself in her ice covered castle repeating Christmas over and over, very Groundhog dayish. Her only companions are manuscripts, the occasional adventurer who disappears at midnight, and the ornaments on her tree. That is until Lance Desmond finds his way into the castle. Will be also vanish at midnight? Or will be be able to solve the mystery of Castle Cavanaugh? In the second offering we are introduced to Daisy le Fey, the daughter of two magical creatures, only she does not possess a single drop of natural magic. In her quest to earn her wings, she becomes an apprentice tooth fairy. Her first assignment to retrieve a tooth from eight year old Angus goes spectacularly awry. At least she meets handsome professor, Trevor Masterson. Unfortunately, her attempts to straighten things out just makes things worse. Will Daisy earn her wings? Will Trevor be able to make tenure or will be be out of a job at the end of the semester? can there be true love between a human and a magical being? In the third offering, we are introduced to an ex CEO turned philanthropist, Javier Rodriguez and his guardian angel, Sarah Phimm (love her name). Javier is trying to make up for the wrong he has done in his life. It is Sarah's job to keep him alive. He doesn't make her job easy. For the first time in her thousand years of being a guardian angel, she makes herself visible. What happens when a guardian angel falls in love with her charge? I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Another wonderful one from Erica Ridley.

I simply adore Ridley’s writing and this series is no exception. The Magic & Mayhem collection is rich and entertaining; and quite a fun change from my typical romance novels.

A little too silly for my taste. Although, I am a big fan of Ms Ridley, this just didn’t do it for me..

I enjoyed these stories, they were captivating and a lot of fun to read. Each story had it's own flair and was very entertaining.

It took me some time to read this set of books not due to not liking it, but because there was three stories instead of one.
I loved the middle one the most, but all were fantastic!
If you like romance. If you like history. If you like to be transported in time. This is a wonderful book set to explore by wonderful author!
Highly recommended!

I received with thanks an ARC copy of Magic & Mayhem from Webmotion and Netgalley.

This is my review of Magic & Mayhem by Erica Ridley. This was published on 26th July 2019
These are three tales that mash-up Sci-Fi and fairy tales. These were cute romantic and fun to read. These novellas showcased a different style of writing as I only normally read her historical romance books. I would highly recommend these novellas. Must Love Magic was favourite but I think that was due to being a Princess Bride inspired story.
Would recommend if you love a Romance and Sci-Fi.

Utterly delicious mash-ups with a heavy dose of mischief and magic (Mayhem definitely included). Settle in and savour!

Three reviews in one, the “Magic and Mayhem” series is composed of “Kissed by Magic” (book 1), “Must Love Magic” (book 2) and “Smitten by Magic” (book 3).

All three are rom-com novellas that are very light read with lots of humorous moments. That said, let me just say that if this is Erica Ridley’s first foray into sci-fi/fantasy, she has a good start. Known for her historical novels, the “Magic and Mayhem” series shows another facet of this very talented author. This could well be a pivotal series for her. So, let me just say… More please!

All three books in the “Magic and Mayhem” series are Rated T for Teens

This boxset contains all three books from the Magic & Mayhem series by Erica Ridley. I really liked them. It was the first time I've read a non historical book(s) by this author but I like them.
