There is a lot going on is this book.Mallory's mother has moved back to town, Christmas is coming, her friend is getting married and has moved up the wedding to Christmas Eve. Then you throw in 30 year old secrets and a dead body as well as uproar in town over new constructions going on. It's almost too much, but it seems to pull together and get tied up by the end.The relationships between between people are fleshed out. In particular, the one between Mallory and her mother, that seems a bit dysfunctional. I can't imagine my mother running slipshod over me like that, but then that is why it is interesting to read about other types of personalities.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to read this book!

I actually finished this a few days back, but I haven't had the chance to get online and really organize my thoughts on this one. I really loved this mystery, because it was so layered in both present and the past with multiple scenarios and mysteries in one. For an established mystery, this does an excellent job at characterization; You really felt for Mallory with her doubts and wanted Olivia and Toby to get their happy ending. Mallory's mother reminded me of my own a little, and I hated to see her as the suspect! Of course, this is a cozy and nothing is ever as it seems, and eventually we are lead to the true criminal.

I definitely would be interested in going back and reading the previous books. With that ending, the next book is a must read as well!

This is a fun Christmas edition, but the mystery is still fantastic. I highly recommend giving this one a go! Five stars.

This is the first time I have read this author and I really loved this book. It was a page turner and one that I didn't know who did until the end. Mallory and Rachael were great in their efforts to find the killer. The story lines really came together to make a great sorry. This is a GREAT READ and I highly recommend it.

I had to force myself to sleep last night with the promised joy of picking up 'Marry Christmas Murder' the first thing this morning. The latest in Stephanie Blackmoore's A Wedding Planner Mystery series had me hooked in from the very first as Stephanie was dealt with the move back to Port Quincy of her mother and stepfather, as well as the wedding of her dear friend Olivia. Coupled with relationship issues with Garrett and a murder with her mother as chief suspect this was just plain excellent. Not wanting to be a spoiler there will be lots of fallout from the surprising outcomes and I can't wait to have them addressed in future offerings. I highly recommend this entire series.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Mallory is planning her friend Olivia's spring wedding, or so she thinks. The wedding date gets moved up to a few days before Christmas. With her sister Rachel, Mallory scrambles to give her friend the wedding of her dreams, despite the nightmare of dead bodies, the bride's nefarious family, and Mallory's own mom landing in jail!

This is the fifth in the Wedding Planner Mystery Series. It is a delightful Christmas-themed cozy. The mystery is crafted in a way that really made me want to try and solve it before the end of the book. The clues are tantalizing. I want to read the first four in this series now.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Mallory runs a B&B, doing weddings at her venue with her sister Rachel. After taking off the month of December for family functions, things just keep popping up. Her mother and stepfather are moving back, permanently, her close friend Olivia wants the wedding moved up...oh ..did I mention the murder? The one to fund raise for Paws and Poinsettias. Her mom wants a staging job and guess what...she's offered the dead woman's job. Now she's under suspicion.
We are offered plenty of suspects, a lot of different motives and a surprise ending.
The characters are multi-faceted and realistic and the descriptions of scenes and clothing strong enough to clearly envision it. Mallory, Rachel and Truman, the Police Chief and Mallory's possible future father-in-law work hard to find clues to clear carol, her mother, but will it be enough?
I requested and received a NetGalley ARC and enjoyed reading this holiday themed cozy. I have recommended several friends to watch out for it's release.

Great cozy mystery! I really liked all the characters in this story which is rare for me. Very well-plotted with a mystery that kept me guessing and held my interest until the end. Would love to see more of these folks! Thank you NetGalley for the advanced readers copy for review.

Marry Christmas Murder is a fast paced story, with a great cast of characters and a strong mystery. Mallory Shephard is a fun character and in this story, it seems she has a lot of decisions to make.
Between preparing for her best friends wedding, Christmas, and her parents surprise visit, Mallory has a lot on her plate, so investigating a murder isn't a priority, until her mother becomes the main suspect.
I like the way this author writes, her stories are fun and we'll told, and always keep the reader guessing.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for approving me to read this book.

Mallory is planning her best friend, Olivia March's wedding and preparing for the Christmas season when she gets caught up in yet another murder investigation. With her mother as the prime suspect and someone harassing Olivia's family, Mallory sets out to prove her mother's innocence and in the process, she uncovers dark secrets about the March family. This was a delightful Christmas themed cozy. The storyline is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the end. The characters are relatable, and the Christmas setting makes this a perfect read for December. I really enjoyed this book and will be reading more by this author. Thank you to Netgalley and Kensington Books for providing me with this ARC. The opinions expressed are my own.

I've always enjoyed this series but this book was a step above. In between wedding planning and murder the author gives us a really interesting and deep mystery. Missing girls, rescue cats, and shady judges come together in a great plot!

This is a fun, fast-paced cozy mystery guaranteed to hold your interest from the first page to the very last sentence. It's filled with a warm Christmas theme, a wedding and a delightful small town setting, but it's also got murder, family drama, corporate misdeeds, arson and family secrets. Mallory and Rachel return with yet another adventure stemming from their wedding planning business when Mallory's friend Olivia March, whose family are prominent local developers, asks her to plan her wedding. Then Mallory and Rachel's mom, Carole, gets into the act, trying to win the job of stager for the developers. And when the previous stager is poisoned after Carole pours her a drink, Carole becomes a prime suspect. But further events affecting the March family - the toys from their Christmas drive are stolen, their new cabin home is destroyed by arson, gets Mallory involved in trying to figure out why all this is happening, at the same time she is trying to resolve her own relationship issues with her boyfriend Garrett. This book will delight cozy mystery fans and have them (as I am) waiting impatiently for Mallory's next story.
