If you're in need of a workaday, dependable romance, then this is the novel for you. It's not taxing and there are some lovely warm moments. It did not make my heart beat faster, nor did I get the warm, fuzzies. However, if you're in a tough spot and need the comfort of a familiar tale told well, then this book will bring you joy.
