An enjoyable story, I’ve read a few say it was over the top and far fetched but come on, aren’t most romances, if they were reality I wouldn’t want to read them. It’s fun, deals with some serious issues and full of romance, likeable characters and my favourite meddling relatives. The first in a new series of brothers I look forward to the next book.

Unfortunately, this lost me almost immediately with its cheesy, over the top feel. When the hero is declaring his intent to marry the heroine (and holding back his profession of love) around 10% of the way into the book (after around 10 minutes spent together), I can’t take the story seriously. I love a man who knows what he wants but this was just too much, which is disappointing because I was intrigued by the premise.

The story follows Finn, a former soldier who has recently been forced into retirement following an injury. He meets Brooke, the town doctor, while teaching a self defense class. She takes him by complete surprise by stealing the show - and his heart - within minutes of meeting her. What follows is Finn’s pursuit of Brooke; he will stop at nothing to get forever with her.

This has the foundation of a good book, but so many things threw it off course. Finn is the biggest problem for me - even his brothers think he’s acting crazy. He comes off as a little nuts and a lot cocky, coming up with a plan to win Brooke as his wife before he even knows if she’s single. While Brooke is probably acting rationally, when compared to Finn she really seems to be overly resistant to a relationship. The combination of the two made them both seem extreme, which made it difficult to root for Finn and Brooke. What did I like about the book? Who these characters are down to their core; they’re both likeable people out to do some good, and if the connection wasn’t so over the top, I think I would’ve enjoyed their story. This one is a miss for me, but I appreciated receiving an ARC from NetGalley. I am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've read many love stories featuring Joseph Anderson's children, nieces and nephews. This book brings Joseph to the forefront again with the sons of his uncle who he quickly "adopts" as his own nephews. I like Joseph and the message of love and family that comes through this book. The story of Finn and Brooke was not very compelling. There were a few inconsistencies like the fact that he can outplay a few high school kids in basketball yet has a war injury that causes a limp. There is also a lot of repetition about Brooke's fears and vascillation over a relationship which gets a little old.

I just really enjoyed this book. It was just really easy to get lost in this book. I just couldn’t get enough of it and didn’t want it to end. I will definitely be reading more by this author.

I've enjoyed the other books by Ms. Anne featuring the Anderson's and their matchmaking patriarch. I'm glad to find this new spinoff series with some newly discovered cousins who have been estranged from the main clan but have now been brought into the fold.
Finn leads off with his romance of the doctor in the community that the Andersons are setting up for retired Vets. Finn first meets Brooke when he is teaching a self defense class to the women in the community. While he has always shied away from romance he is bowled over at first glance and begins a campaign worthy of a military exercise to win his fair lady.
This is a fast paced romance that hits the spot.

I'm so excited to start this new Anderson Billionaires series. I love that we still get Joseph Anderson and the whole family. Now we get to meet Finn and his brothers. Each I'm sure, are going to steal your heart just as much as Finn does in this one. I love Finn. He is strong and persistent. He is amazing with his brothers that will leave you smiling and laughing out loud. Brooke, she is incredible. I love how she is with Finn. She is strong, independent and knows how to put Finn in his place. You can feel the sparks flying between them. You will love Brooke so much and see how good she is for Finn. I loved every moment of this one and so can't wait to watch more Andersons fall.

“A new set of Andersons, 3 stars”

Finn is a whole lot of broken after getting injured while deployed, getting out of the military, and losing his mother all at once. When Joseph Anderson comes out of no where with a project and wanting to connect after finding his long-lost family members Finn doesn’t know what to think. What he didn’t expect was to meet Brooke and fall for her at first sight. Will he be able to get the girl, handle his new large family, and take on this project or will it get the better of him?

Now I want to be upfront with you and admit I did enjoy Finn and Brooke. I loved how he was done from the get-go and wasn’t afraid of a challenge. I don’t blame her for being hesitant. The 3 stars has nothing to do with not liking the story but all to do with what I was expecting. If you’ve read any of Melody’s stories where the Anderson’s are involved, you know they are a loud crazy group. And yes, we got Joseph in this one but not nearly as much as usual. I just missed the Anderson’s that we’ve came to know and love and that’s on me and not Melody. So, if you’ve read her stuff be prepared that they aren’t there like were used to, but if you haven’t then you should love the story.

FINN by Melody Anne is another book with the Anderson family, some undiscovered cousins. It's a nice easy read, their looking to build a new resource center for veterans. FINN has brothers so look out for the coming books!

I cannot say enough about this book! I adore Finn, he is sweet and understanding but also very Alpha. Brooke is a hard shell to crack and Finn waits very patiently for her to be ready and is so tender but not in a wimpy way. The not rushing into relationship aspect of this is what drew me in. So many times the authors have rushed into a heated romance without the meat of the story and with this book, it was the exact opposite and I loved it! Waiting for the next one hopefully it will be soon!

You can never get enough of the Anderson's or better yet Joseph. Mr. Larger Than Life, leader and meddling extraordinaire. Him and Finn relationship was every growing. Finn had the right to be standoffish because of his past but one take down changed it all.

Brooke changed it all. Changed him as well as him changing her. This book was HOT and sexy, tear worthy, and deep. Brooke a lonely driven heart woman with friend that are like sisters, grew and later accepted that she was deserving. Finn a leader by birth, lost without his SEALs, settled with a woman that he cherished.

This was a classic Melody romance that brought back some favorites and set us up for more to come.

Great start to a new series! Some more yummy Anderson men! 5 stars for this one!
Meet Finn, oldest of five boys in his family. Served in the military, while also taking care of his family, until an injury makes him retire early from the service. When he's brought in to meet with a well known Joseph Anderson, he has no clue why, and what Joseph tells him will change everything he thought about his family. Joseph offers Finn and his brothers an opportunity to work along side his brothers, can he trust Joseph?
Brooke is still trying to recover emotionally from losing her brother, her only family member that ever cared for her. When she meets Finn, she's immediately attracted to him, but she doesn't want to put herself out there again, only to lose him, she's lost so much in her life already. Only problem is, Finn is a stubborn man and wont take no for an answer!
Follow along as these two try to get over their demons, trust the road that's ahead for them. Grab this one as soon as it's released!

When I read a 'new to me' author there are certain things I look for. The first is how easy is the book to read? Does the author have a good writing flow, does the story flow seamlessly (with no story gaps) from one scene to another? The second is how like able and believable are the characters? If either one of those answers is negative then it's generally not a book I'd recommend.
Melody Anne will have no problem getting a glowing recommendation from me. Finn started out as perfectly as a book can get! Grabbing me from the first page and not letting go until the very last. The writing flowed, allowing the characters to develop naturally as the story went on. There were no gaps leaving me with the feeling I missed something, Even when characters from previous books entered it was natural. Each of the characters back stories were fit in at just the right moment to give that feeling of knowing them without having read their stories from previous books. Although now I want to read their stories!
Emotionally the book tugs at the heartstrings. Both the main characters having suffered losses have had to work through different phases of that loss. I was rooting for Finn and Brooke from their very first meeting. The lengths Finn went through to win Brooke had me laughing and/or sighing happily at his attempts. I liked that he knew what he wanted, what he felt and that she was a bit harder to win and that he understood why she was so slow to accept what was happening between them.
All the characters, both main and secondary, have personality and have me hoping for more of them. Since this is the first story in a new series with a new set of Anderson's, I'm pretty sure they will all get their own HEA's.
Finn is both emotional at times and laugh out loud at others. It's the type of story that will have crying with both sadness and happiness. It's also a book with a message about love and loss and how you can't have one without knowing the other....learning to be brave, to learn to live and love again ....that's what makes this book a keeper in my mind.

I enjoyed this book a lot! It was a light read - despite a potentially heavy topic. This is the first book in a new series about an arm of a very famous family with a meddling Patriarch. I hadn't read any of the other books by this author about this family - but that didn't really cause any issues. I am guessing I might have had more feelings for the characters if I was already invested in the family - but it definitely didn't make me feel like I needed to read the other books to understand this one!

I liked Finn a lot - he had been through hell and only emerged out of it when he met Brooke. It was 100% love at first sight for him. It was pretty much the same for Brooke, but losing her brother left a hole in her heart and her life she didn't feel ready to fill. Finn wears her down quickly tho - and instantly understands what she needs from him.

Finn and Brooke are an extremely sweet couple - and this book is very low on the drama scale. If you are looking for an easy read with lots of sex buy this book now!

I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley - but these opinions are all my own!

This was the first time I had read a book by this author and for the first 3rd I really enjoyed it. The interaction between the leads was great as was the dialogue with the secondary characters. I felt it didn’t really go anywhere though after that and was waiting for some sort of hiccup in the relationship or some additional development to happen.
I would read more of her books as I was really interested to read the other brothers stories and Brooke’s friends.

I have read a few in the Anderson series by Melody Anne and while each one is about a different person they all seem to follow the same pattern. Boy meets girl, girl or boy falls head over heels while the isn't sure this is what they want.Finn story is a introduction to a new set of Anderson and their meddling uncles. The story has it moments and can be entertaining at time it falls flat for this review with its lack of honest dynamics that is need between Finn and Brooke.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy Melody Anne Finn.

I enjoyed this book, and am greatly looking forward to the others in the series.

I did feel a bit meh about the fact that Finn was basically done and ready to marry Brooke in Chapter 2.

It feels good to be back in the Anderson world once again. I really enjoyed Finn and Brooke's story. I thought it was extremely entertaining especially in the beginning when he was chasing her. Also I really enjoyed how their relationship developed. I'm really excited about the future stories. As ll the brothers have their own personalities. I think I'm going to love this new twist on the Andersons.

Loved this, a fast paced Romantic Journey💚💙
It was so good to read an Anderson Romance and these long lost Anderson brothers (cousins really) all sound drool worthy. Joseph is in his element once again, blazing forward with more good deeds and if love happens along the way, well, that's just bonus and he won't admit to a thing lol.
This one is Finn and Brooke's journey and she did not make it easy for him at all. Both of them fraught with emotional wounds old and new, scared of moving forward, of loving and losing again, Brooke was an emotional mess, and wanted to ignore Finn. Well Finn was in love from the first minute he met Brooke, and he just kept pushing forward little by little, seemingly knowing exactly what Brooke needed and how much she could handle. He was fantastic! Every woman's fantasy man, in touch with his own feelings, not afraid to own those feelings either, just doting on her, yet challenging her and it was beautiful to feel it all as I read right along on all their non dates lol.
There's drama, life threatening it is, which just adds another layer here, and shows what family is really all about, and it's not necessarily blood that makes that happen.
We are introduced to Finn's three brothers and Brooke's two best friends since forever, I can hardly wait for more from these Andersons!
Oh, surprise of surprises, one of my favorite tropes and it's a doubly good sigh worthy HEA!
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC thru #Netgalley and am giving my honest thoughts and opinions on #Finn by #MelodyAnne

FINN is my first read by author Melody Anne and left me with mixed feelings. There was much I liked about this story in the beginning, with engaging characters and an interesting storyline. Unfortunately, as the story progresses, Finn is portrayed as a shallow and ingenuine persona, rather than the loyal, dedicated and damaged ex-SEAL I had expected after having read the blurb. This wasn’t a bad story, but many aspects left me wondering…..why?
